When the female protagonist appeared in the classroom, many people who had heard snippets of the story from elsewhere surrounded her, eager to hear what had happened from her.
Unable to resist everyone's enthusiasm, the girl reluctantly recounted the events of that day.
"Actually, I didn't pay much attention. He just walked over when I was standing by the playground, handed me the paper, and left." At this point, the girl lowered her head shyly and said nothing more.
The others, however, wouldn't let her off the hook. They laughed and made fun of her, while also repeating the last sentence: "She just handed me the paper and left."

The long-haired girl immediately realized she was being ridiculed. She stopped talking and silently returned to her seat without engaging with anyone.
Finding her interaction uninteresting, many people turned their attention to the boys. They inquired about when the boy had fallen for the girl and how he came up with the idea of sending her the love letter.
Compared to girls, boys tend to be more thick-skinned. Although his face was flushed and he looked very shy, he still mumbled out his thoughts and feelings.

Ma Lele sat in her seat with her head down, silent, while the boy stood beside her, at a loss for what to do.
At that moment, another sinister hand appeared out of nowhere, grabbed the boy's shoulder, and shoved him hard towards Ma Lele.
The boy immediately lost his balance and wobbled towards Ma Lele. Fortunately, he managed to regain his footing and only lightly brushed against Ma Lele's shoulder.
But this one action ignited the atmosphere of excitement among the onlookers to another level.
But just then, a girl's cry broke the escalating atmosphere; it was Ma Lele who was crying.
Those on the periphery were still unaware of what was happening and continued to make a ruckus, but they were quickly stopped by the students in the front row who knew what was going on.
"Stop it! The girl is crying!"
As if they weren't the ones who had just been making a scene in front, they condemned those who were causing trouble behind them, and then went forward to comfort Ma Lele with pity.
Seeing this, everyone offered comfort to those who needed it and dispersed as others did, and the farce quickly came to an end.
Shang Yunmiao had been observing Ma Lele's movements the whole time. When she saw that Ma Lele and the boy were being teased, her mood immediately plummeted.
