Just as Xia Kaiqun finished speaking, Xia Zhongqin burped at an inopportune time.
Xia Zhongqin's face instantly turned red to her ears.
Without waiting for Xia Zhongqin's response, Xia Kaiqun continued, "Zhongqin, what are you embarrassed about? Can your President Lian still eat you up?"
"Uncle Xia, if you don't want to sleep on the street tonight, just shut up."
Sure enough, Xia Kaiqun was very obedient and stopped teasing Xia Zhongqin.
Xia Kaiqun switched his inquiring gaze back and forth between Lian Yijian and Xia Zhongqin, as if he was enjoying the show.
Xia Zhongqin originally wanted to say "goodbye" to Lian Yijian and Xia Kaiqun, but when she looked at someone next to her, she saw that he looked like he wanted to say something but hesitated.
Xia Zhongqin now understood that someone must have something else to say to her.
Xia Zhongqin did not take the initiative to ask. She stood there and waited quietly. When someone spoke first, her eyes looked away.
Sure enough, after waiting for almost a minute, Xia Zhongqin heard someone asking.
"Zhong Qin, is there anything else you need to take care of regarding the Centennial Project?"
"Mr. Lian is gone," Xia Zhongqin answered truthfully. "I brought the acceptance report to Mr. Wang when I went to Centennial on Tuesday. I'm just waiting for Centennial's stamp."
"The Suzhou Metro Project needs to complete the launch of its first phase of functionality by the end of this year. We still have some project documentation to write, and we also need to do some functional testing. Zhong Qin, please review your schedule."
