Zheng Baoyi came over and touched the blanket: "The wool on the blanket is so long. It must be warmer than a quilt if I cover myself with it. Baozhu, please help me buy one from Haishi."
Zheng Baozhu readily agreed: "No problem, 200 yuan a piece, give me the money and I'll bring it to you next time."
Zheng Baoyi's face changed and he didn't respond.
…
There was a sound of firecrackers outside, the bride was coming.
Everybody went out to see the bride.
The children brought stools and blocked the door, asking the bride for candy. The scene was very lively.
Jin Cancan saw Zheng Baozhu coming and nodded and smiled at her.
The children asked for candy, moved the bench away, and let the bride enter the bridal chamber.
Zheng Youlin came over to invite relatives and friends to take their seats.
Jin Cancan held Zheng Baozhu's hand and said, "I haven't seen you since the last time we met. I thought you wouldn't be able to come back for my wedding."
Zheng Baozhu said, "Your marriage to Brother Baosheng is such a big event. No matter how busy I am, I will rush back to ask for a glass of wedding wine."
Zhou's aunt, who came to attend the wedding banquet, said: "Look at these two sisters-in-law. They have such a good relationship that if you don't know them, you would think they are real sisters-in-law."
Jin Cancan smiled and said, "Baozhu and I hit it off right away. From now on, Baozhu is my biological sister."
Aunt Zhou said: "Baozhu is so kind to you, her cousin-in-law. The wedding gift she gave you is unique."
Jin Cancan asked Zheng Baozhu: "My dear sister, what gift did you give me? Let me see it quickly."
Zheng Baozhu looked at the place on the bed where the blanket had been placed, but did not see the blanket.
Aunt Zhou was also puzzled: "Where is the blanket? It was here just now. Did your mother-in-law put it in the closet because she thought it was precious and was afraid that it would get dirty?"
Jin Cancan got up and opened the closet. It was empty and there was nothing inside. She looked at Zheng Baozhu.
Aunt Zhou stood up and said, "I'll go ask your mother-in-law."
…
Soon, Zhou Yongqin came over: "What's missing?"
Jin Cancan said: "Auntie said Baozhu gave me a blanket."
Today was my son's wedding, and there were people coming and going, and it was a mess. Zhou Yongqin said she didn't see any blanket.
Aunt Zhou said, "When Baozhu came, she brought a very beautiful red box. Didn't you see it?"
"That's it. Isn't the pearl placed in the bridal chamber?"
"But it's gone now. Baozhu spent 200 yuan to bring it from Hai City. The hair is very long."
Zhou Yongqin was anxious as such an expensive item was missing, and quickly started looking for it in the room.
But I searched every corner of the new house but couldn't find it.
It is impossible for such a big box to disappear out of thin air.
Zhou Yongqin said: "Could it be that someone stole it during the chaos?"
