Chapter 193 Yuanbao Possessed by Evil

Kui Kui didn't react to the title, but the other two were completely dumbfounded.

Zhang Yuping snapped out of his daze, chuckled awkwardly, withdrew his outstretched hand, and subtly smoothed his greasy hair.

"Hehe, I'm sorry, but the two masters really do look like a married couple!"

Upon hearing this, Mo Ye nodded slightly, thinking to himself: You have good taste.

"Gentlemen, I've booked the entire restaurant. Why don't we eat and talk?"

"No need, just tell me. I'm full and can't eat anymore, so don't bother spending any more money."

Zhang Yuping looked at Chen Haiguo for help, and seeing the latter nod, he put away his pleasantries and smile, and said:

"Master, to be honest, something has happened to my child. I've consulted many shamans, monks, and Taoist priests, but my child hasn't gotten any better; in fact, it's getting worse."

"Let's talk in detail on the way," Kui Kui said, and got into the car.

The extended Rolls-Royce Phantom drove out of the university town and headed towards the suburbs.

Along the way, Zhang Yuping recounted his situation and the events of the past few days.

He came from the countryside and didn't have much education. He was the eldest child in his family and went to work in the city at a young age.

He was quick-witted, eager to learn, thick-skinned, and hardworking, and earned his first pot of gold by collecting recyclables.

A country boy with no connections carved out his own niche through vision, courage, and a bit of luck.

He has an eight-year-old son nicknamed Yuanbao, who is in the second grade this year.

Her grades aren't the best in the class, but they're above average. She's lively and has a lot of friends, but lately she's been acting strangely, like she's possessed.

Three weeks ago, Yuanbao kept saying that he dreamed of an old woman who said she wanted to take him home to see her.

Yuanbao knew he shouldn't go with a stranger and was scared, so he didn't go with her.

This dream lasted for five days, and it always contained the same content.

At first, Zhang Yuping and his wife didn't pay much attention. They thought that Yuanbao had been too busy with work lately and had neglected him, so Yuanbao told a lie to attract their attention.

The couple put aside their work and took Yuanbao to the amusement park, where they had a wonderful day.

The next morning, Yuanbao said he dreamed of his deceased grandfather and maternal grandfather. They were standing at a crossroads, waving to him and wanting him to come over.

He walked over, but felt it getting farther and farther away.

The same dream continued for four more days.

At this point, Zhang Yuping and his wife also realized that Yuanbao was indeed acting strangely.

A normally lively child suddenly became unusually quiet, and complained of being tired, having chest pain, and back pain.

They immediately took Yuanbao to the hospital for a checkup, and even to the psychiatric department, but the results showed that everything was normal.

By evening, Yuanbao's condition had not improved.

Zhang Yuping spent many days with Yuanbao and had a lot of work to do. He let Yuanbao and his wife go to sleep first, while he sat on the sofa in the bedroom to work. This also made it easier to take care of the child and prevent any accidents from happening to him at night.

Zhang Yuping was lost in memories, his hands gripping his pants tightly, his eyes filled with deep fear.

"I will never forget what happened that night!"

He took a deep breath, slowly released his hand, revealing wrinkles all over his neatly pressed suit trousers.

He continued, "That day I worked until about three in the morning and felt a little sleepy. I was afraid that going to bed would disturb the mother and son, so I leaned back on the sofa to rest for a while."

"I'm a light sleeper and I wake up easily at the slightest noise. In my half-asleep state, I heard someone walking barefoot."

"I opened my eyes immediately." As he said this, he closed his eyes again and shook his head repeatedly. He sighed, "When I opened my eyes, I was startled."
