From the moment Kui Kui stepped into the room, he felt extremely uncomfortable with the atmosphere.
"May I look around?"
“Of course! Of course!” Zhang Yuping said as he led the way, “The first floor has the kitchen and dining room, which leads directly to the back garden.”
Kui Kui looked around and his gaze fell on the three-legged toad ornament on the low cabinet in the entryway.
The golden toad holds a gold coin in its mouth and is entirely brass-colored, except for its blood-red eyes, which exude a hint of eeriness.
Zhang Yuping explained, "Oh, this was a gift from a business friend. He said it would bring wealth. Is there something wrong with it?"
Kui Kui nodded, then shook his head, explaining, "This malevolent energy must have been recently applied; it doesn't seem to be a problem with the object itself."
She chanted the Golden Light Mantra, and with a flick of her fingertip, she touched the forehead of the three-legged toad, and the evil aura immediately dissipated.
After confirming that there were no problems on the first floor, Kui Kui said to Zhang Yuping, "Let's go up to the second floor and take a look!"
Zhang Yuping paused for a moment, then said, "Oh! Okay." He then headed towards the second floor.
Yuanbao, who had been hiding behind Zhang Yuping's wife, suddenly rushed out, startling him.
Zhang Yuping frowned and said, "Yuanbao, what's wrong? We have guests here!"
Yuanbao blushed and clutched the hem of his clothes, saying, "I...I'll show the pretty lady around."
Zhang Yuping glanced at Yuanbao, then at Kui Kui, and quickly nodded.
Yuanbao mustered up his courage and reached out to hold Kui Kui's hand. Seeing that Kui Kui did not refuse, he laughed for the first time and pulled Kui Kui upstairs.
Yuanbao pointed to the living room on the left side of the stairs and introduced, "Sister, this is the living room. This screen is very big. Mom said it won't hurt your eyes. It's great for watching TV and playing games."
He then pointed to two rooms on the right and explained, "This is Dad's study, where he usually works. This is the tea room, where Dad entertains his friends. Those uncles all love drinking tea, but I think the tea is too bitter and doesn't taste good at all." He stuck out his tongue as he spoke.
Zhang Yuping's wife followed behind and also witnessed Yuanbao's changes. She said to Zhang Yuping, "Honey, it's been so long since I've seen Yuanbao so lively."
"Yes! Old Chen, we owe you a lot this time!" he said, patting Chen Haiguo on the shoulder.
Chen Haiguo smiled and said, "Kui Kui has never disappointed anyone. Don't worry, Yuanbao will definitely get better."
"Sister, sister, this is my model showroom! I built it all myself! Aren't I amazing?"
"Hmm, impressive." Kui Kui smiled slightly and praised.
His gaze, however, was fixed on two models in the room: one was a humanoid combat mech, and the other was a monkey made of building blocks.
"Yuanbao, may I take a closer look at those two models?"
After obtaining Yuanbao's consent, Kui Kui took the opportunity of observing the model up close to directly dispel the evil energy emanating from it.
She turned to Zhang Yuping and said, "This floor is fine too."
"Let's go up to the third floor, that's our bedroom."
"I'll take my sister there." Yuanbao happily pulled Kui Kui upstairs, her round little body pushing Mo Ye aside.
Mo Ye stared coldly at Yuanbao. He certainly wouldn't believe that the little fat boy hadn't done it on purpose.
His Kui Kui is so outstanding that it appeals to men, women, young and old alike!
The group went up to the third floor, where there were two bedrooms.
The master bedroom is decorated in an English style, which is gorgeous and retro.
The second bedroom is Yuanbao's room, with cartoon robot-themed bed sheets and a bay window filled with sets of blind box models.
"Sister, have you ever opened a blind box?"
Kui Kui shook his head.
Yuanbao squinted and smiled, "It's so interesting. My second uncle and Brother Junjun gave me so many gifts."
He pointed to several dolls on the bay window and said, "These are all hidden items, very difficult to obtain. If you like them, I'll give them all to you, sister!"
Upon hearing this, Chen Haiguo said in a low voice, "Your relationship with your second son has improved again?"
"Well, after all, we're brothers, there's no such thing as holding a grudge overnight."
After confirming that there were no problems on the third floor, the group went up to the fourth floor.
The fourth floor is the rooftop. Because Yuanbao is still young, Zhang Yuping had the entire area surrounded by glass during the design and renovation process, which ensured safety without affecting the lighting.
Yuanbao, who had been so lively just moments before, suddenly became quiet and gripped Kuikui's hand even tighter.
The laundry room is on your right as you come up the stairs.
The sun hadn't completely set yet, and the orange-yellow sunlight streamed down, bathing the entire rooftop in the afterglow of the sunset.
The laundry room on the right was dark and gloomy, lacking any warmth and instead making one feel chilly.
Kui Kui patted Yuan Bao's hand, handed him over to Zhang Yuping and his wife, and walked straight towards the laundry room.
