Chapter 210 Clues

After washing up, Wang Song fell asleep the moment his head hit the pillow, and his nightmare began.

On a sunny afternoon, he stood at the school gate, watching the children leave school.

The children were very polite, and when they saw the principal standing at the door, they all greeted him.

He nodded and smiled in return, but inwardly he felt a little impatient and doubtful.

Wasn't he at a meeting at the bureau?

Suddenly, a man wielding a kitchen knife rushed out of the crowd and slashed at a child.

The cleaver fell on the child's fair and tender neck.

When the knife was pulled out, blood gushed out like a fountain.

The child clutched his neck and collapsed to the ground, blood pooling everywhere.

He stared at Wang Song with wide eyes, his body convulsing uncontrollably.

Wang Song instinctively stepped back, but was pushed to the front.

The only gatekeeper at the school gate, holding a stick, gritted his teeth and rushed forward, only to be slashed to the ground by a knife.

The thug licked his lips, looking at the blood on the knife, becoming even more excited.

The homeroom teacher reacted quickly, grabbing several children beside her and running into the school, while simultaneously taking out her phone to call the police.

However, in the blink of an eye, two more children fell down.

They fared worse than the first child; they weren't killed instantly, but were slashed multiple times.

One of them had a knife wound on his face, extending from his left eyebrow to the right corner of his mouth, and his face was covered in blood.

He struggled to crawl to Wang Song's feet, his big eyes fixed on him, and then he stopped moving.

Another one ran towards Wang Song, shouting for help as he ran.

Wang Song panicked and shoved the child aside, rushing into the guardhouse behind him and shouting, "Close the gate!"

The child ultimately couldn't escape the assailant's pursuit and was slashed in the back, collapsing in front of the school gate.

Parents in the vicinity spontaneously intervened to stop the knife-wielding assailant.

With the combined efforts of several fathers and grandfathers, they were subdued.

Wang Song finally breathed a sigh of relief, but then the surroundings suddenly darkened.

He looked around in a panic, feeling something tugging at his feet.

He looked down and saw three children covered in blood.

They all stared wide-eyed, looking as if they had died with their eyes wide open.

"What are you doing! Get away! Get away!" Wang Song kicked them away.

The disdain in his eyes was undisguised.

Kui Kui shook her head as she watched all this. She made a hand seal with one hand, and the extra thousand yuan in Wang Song's wallet emitted wisps of malevolent energy.

She gave Wang Song two chances, but his questionable character led him to his doom.

Wang Song had a series of nightmares that night, but he couldn't wake up. When he was woken up by his alarm clock in the morning, there was a deep bruise under his eyes.

He rubbed his face and was about to sit up when the bed beneath him suddenly collapsed, and his old back, unable to bear the strain, twisted.

He groaned and struggled to get out of bed and put on his thick slippers.

Wang Song lost his balance and fell flat on his face. His left slipper stepped on his right heel.

"Honey, are you alright?" Wang Song's wife rushed over upon hearing the commotion and helped him up, only to find that his nose was bleeding profusely.

She said worriedly, "Why don't you take the day off today?"

"No, such a big thing happened at the school yesterday, I, as the legal representative, cannot not be present."

With his wife's help, Wang Song sat down in a chair in the restaurant. His back ached, and his face was burning.

He picked up the milk on the table, took a sip, and almost choked to death. It took him a long time to catch his breath.

"How could you be so careless?" Wang Song's wife patted his back gently.

Wang Song didn't know what was wrong with him; he was just so unlucky.

Little did he know that more misfortunes were yet to come: he choked on his water, swallowed his food, tripped and fell while walking, and his car broke down.

Old Song swayed and said, "It's pretty tragic, but he deserves it."

"People always have to pay the price for their actions. With him protecting them from disaster, the families of those three children will have a smooth future."

As Kui Kui spoke, he placed two talismans on Wang Song's wife and children.

Wang Song was wrong, but his wife and children should not be implicated.

Wang Song's worst fears are coming true: some parents have contacted the police, demanding an investigation into the school's safety and holding the principal accountable.

The following spring, the teachers and students of Chunlei Elementary School also discovered that the old pine tree, which was taller than the school building, had stopped growing new buds and had lost its vitality, and they all lamented the loss.

However, that's a story for another time.

With the winter break approaching, students are leaving school one after another.

Xiao Bai glanced at Kui Kui and Mo Ye, and finally followed Xia Menglu home.

Feng Dan was still unlucky, but with the Mang family's protection, her life wasn't too difficult. However, she still hadn't found any clues to solve the problem of her lost destiny.

But Kui Kui suddenly received a call from Xuan Cheng.

"Kui Kui, there's been some progress on the matter you asked about last time."
