Chapter 238 The Vanished Plane

Instead of dodging, Caesar stepped forward to meet him.

With a soft thud, the bone sword pierced through the flesh and penetrated the spinal cord.

Caesar grunted, revealing a set of white teeth, and laughed, "Trying to hurt me with my spine? Naïve!"

"You're really naive!" Mo Ye sneered, gripping the sword hilt with both hands and twisting it forcefully.

The bone sword that had entered Caesar's body immediately sprouted countless bone spikes, firmly embedding themselves in his body and delivering a devastating blow to his internal organs.

He couldn't help but cry out in pain, "How is this possible? How could I possibly injure my own spine!"

"That's not your spine, it's mine!" Mo Ye said, suddenly pulling out the bone sword, along with a section of the spine and a pile of mangled flesh.

Caesar fell straight down, his body twitching uncontrollably twice.

"Impossible! I could never admit to a mistake! What did you do to my body?"

He struggled to raise his head, looking up in disbelief at Mo Ye, who stood with his sword in both hands. He also saw that the bone sword was not held in his hands, but rather was an extension of his body.

Caesar's pupils dilated violently. "You...you actually dared to devour my true form. Hahaha! Very well! Very well indeed!"

After saying that, his head drooped limply, his eyes wide open, looking as if he had died with his eyes open in disbelief.

Mo Ye relaxed slightly, and the bone sword suddenly generated a lot of demonic energy, which enveloped him in an instant.

His body trembled slightly, and he knelt on one knee, barely supporting himself with his bone sword.

Yan Shi'an wanted to step forward, but was stopped by Kui Ziyu.

He said coldly to Mo Ye, "If you become a demon, I'll introduce men to Kui Kui as soon as she comes back."

"No, no, I, father, sir!" Mo Ye gritted his teeth and said, word by word, as the demonic energy on his body slowly subsided.

He sheathed his bone sword, sat cross-legged, and closed his eyes to regulate his breathing.

Kui Ziyu wiped the cold sweat from her brow, then looked at Mo Ye and the mess in the room, and anger welled up inside her.

He took a deep breath and thought to himself: Don't get angry about what your daughter likes. Anger damages the liver and leads to a quick death!

He walked over to the overturned sofa and bent down to try to pick it up.

Yan Shi'an waved his hand, and the sofa flipped over and settled itself into place.

Kui Ziyu was stunned for a second, then praised, "Shi'an, you're amazing."

"That's right, after all, I've cultivated for so long!" Yan Shi'an's face revealed a uniquely charming naiveté, leaving Kui Ziyu stunned.

Neither of them noticed that Bai Lian, who was lying on the ground, suddenly blinked and a strange smile appeared on her lips.

A wisp of demonic energy silently detached from Bai Lian's body.

Kui Ziyu and Yan Shi'an worked together to restore the house to its original state, and an ambiguous atmosphere spread.

The same is true of black holes in the night sky.

It is expanding at an alarming rate, devouring the surrounding stars.

When Kui Kui returned home, it was even darker, and the cave was even larger than the one he had seen in the Immortal Realm.

She frowned and went inside from the balcony.

She called out, "Mo Ye, Dad!"

"Kui Kui!" Yan Shi'an jumped up from the sofa, rushed over in a flash, and hugged her tightly.

"Mom?" Kui Kui was momentarily lost in thought and called out softly, afraid that making any noise would shatter this beautiful dream.

"Hey! My dear girl!"

Upon hearing Yan Shi'an's voice again, Kui Kui finally confirmed that it was all true.

She hugged Yan Shi'an tightly and sniffed her reddened nose.

The hug didn't last long; she had other things to do when she got back.

She released Yan Shi'an, reluctantly leaving her mother's embrace, and looked at Bai Lian on the ground.

Kui Ziyu spoke up at the right moment and told Kui Kui everything that had just happened.

Kui Kui glanced at Mo Ye, who was still meditating.

Although he didn't know why he wanted to seize Caesar's body, he must have had his reasons, and Quegui believed him.

Kui Kui bent down to check on Bai Lian's condition; she was lifeless, but she wasn't sure if Caesar was still alive.

Or rather, she didn't believe Caesar would die so easily.

She was about to call Chen Haiguo when her phone rang; it was Chen Haiguo.

"Kui Kui, are you in Zhonghai City right now?"

"I am here."

"Something happened in Zhonghai City, did you see it? A hole suddenly appeared in the sky."

"I just received a call from the Civil Aviation Administration. A plane has disappeared, and we initially suspect it is related to a hole in the sky."

"All flights in Zhonghai City have been suspended, and relevant departments have intervened."

Kui Kui frowned deeply. More than a hundred lives had been lost just like that!

Caesar was truly brilliant!

"Uncle Chen, your suspicions are correct. Please inform the Civil Aviation Administration and other relevant departments that no one should approach that hole!"

Chen Haiguo readily agreed, "Okay!"

"There's one more thing I need to trouble Uncle Chen with..."

Twenty minutes later, Chen Haiguo arrived with his men.

He directed his men to dispose of Bai Lian's body, then frowned as he looked at the hole in the sky and said, "Kui Kui, this hole seems to have gotten bigger again. Do you have any ideas?"

"Um."

Others may not have a solution, but Kui Kui does—he'll fill it with his life.

Chen Haiguo's face lit up with delight. "That's great! I'll report to my superiors right away and give it to you..."

Kui Kui interrupted, "Let me think about it some more."

Now it's not just about using one's own body to mend the sky, but about creating a hole in both the celestial realm and the mortal realm.

Even if Kui Kui were to mend the sky, it would be impossible for it to split itself in two.
