She is my girlfriend
Lin Yu's vacation wasn't long. After finishing farm work in the countryside with his grandmother, Lin Yu took time off to go back to town. Tao Xingye insisted on going with him, saying, "I'll be your driver. We can go in the morning and come back in the evening, so you don't have to catch the bus back and forth."
He knew Lin Yu too well and knew what he could do to convince her. Lin Yu had no way of refusing, so the two of them headed to town early in the morning.

The street lamp in front of Lin Yu's house has been standing there half-dead for so many years.

Chen Zhuo was no match for Tao Xingye. Seeing that Tao Xingye was about to beat Chen Zhuo to death, Lin Yu had no choice but to squeeze in between the two of them and hug Chen Zhuo.
Tao Xingyeyang's hand froze in mid-air, and he looked at Lin Yu who was hugging Chen Zhuo tightly in disbelief.
He stood up, gritted his teeth and picked up Lin Yu, "Come home with me!"
He walked faster and faster, and Lin Yu's footsteps were so chaotic that she kept stepping on him. Tao Xingye was irritated. "If you're with him, you'll use your body to protect him, but if you're with me, you'll want to step on me to death. Lin Yu, do you have any conscience?"
He pulled Lin Yu's wrist and pushed her into the passenger seat. "If I didn't leave, would you still want me to take you on a blind date?"

"What's a research institute? If you marry me, the Tao family will donate a research institute for you to be the director." Tao Xingye caressed Lin Yu's cheek, his hot breath blowing on her face. "How about it, will you marry me?"
Lin Yu turned her head to avoid Tao Xingye's approach, but Tao Xingye became more aggressive and pressed the back of her head to force her to look up at him.
"Lin Yu, I was originally planning to pursue you slowly, but now... you can't blame me." Tao Xingye started the car and called his assistant, "Go to the marriage registration office and get a number. I want it now!"
"You're crazy. I can't possibly marry you." Lin Yu looked at the surrounding scenery moving faster and faster. Knowing that Tao Xingye was angry, he moved closer in a soft voice.
"Xingye, can we just talk about what we have and not be like this?"
The car slowed down slowly. Tao Xingye freed a hand and touched Lin Yu's hair. "Lin Yu, do you know that it's you who never talked to me properly?"
"Why do you think I came to you? I'm not short of friends!"
Tao Xingye suddenly stopped the car, unbuckled his seatbelt, and leaned over to kiss Lin Yu. "Lin Yu, I want to marry you. If not today, then tomorrow. I will marry you for the rest of my life."
"But you don't like me at all!" Lin Yu raised his hand and slapped Tao Xingye away.
Tao Xingye, however, looked like a fool and actually laughed, "Who said I don't like you?"
Tao Xingye's fingertips gently stroked her slender white neck, and his lips rubbed her skin downwards, "Lin Yu, I love you so much."
He fixed Lin Yu's hair, his tone gentle, but the words he said made Lin Yu shudder, "If you don't marry me, forget about your job at the research institute. I can't get involved, but I can still manipulate public opinion."
"Do you think the institute would want someone with such bad character like you?" Tao Xingye smiled with satisfaction and nodded slightly. "You can try, but... the result will be that not only will you marry me, but you'll also lose your job at the institute."
He sat back in his original place, no longer touching Lin Yu, and ignored her as if he was going to kill her.
Lin Yu was still confused until the two red marriage certificates were handed to him.
Tao Xingye took the two marriage certificates and stuffed them under his arm without intending to give them to Lin Yu.
"I'll take you back to the institute. Tell me when you have a holiday and I'll pick you up." Tao Xingye hummed a song as he walked towards the car, not noticing Lin Yu who had stopped behind him.
"Tao Xingye, I'm working, could you please stop interfering?"
Tao Xingye's hand froze as he tried to open the car door. He turned around and glanced at Lin Yu with a cold face. He didn't get in the car. Instead, he leaned against the car door with a cigarette in his hand, looking at Lin Yu thoughtfully.
Lin Yu stepped forward and took the cigarette, "Where's the lighter?"
"In my pocket." Tao Xingye lowered his head and leaned closer to Lin Yu, his voice low and magnetic, "In my trouser pocket."
Lin Yu turned his eyes away and put his hand into his trouser pocket.
Through a thin layer of silk cloth, Lin Yu could clearly feel his body temperature and muscle lines.
She felt deeper and deeper, but couldn't find the lighter.
"Get it yourself." She took out her hand in frustration. The pocket was so deep, where could she find anything if she touched further down?
Tao Xingye raised his hand and flicked her red ears, "Oh, I forgot, the lighter is in the car."
He stopped ordering Lin Yu around, half bent over, reached in and took out a lighter, lit the cigarette in Lin Yu's hand, and put it into his mouth while Lin Yu was holding it.
"I can't interfere with you, but it's hard to say about others." He flicked the ash from his cigarette and looked at the marriage certificate casually.
"Chen Zhuo did hit you, but you also hit him. Can you please stop being so petty?"
"Not good!" Tao Xingye threw the two marriage certificates to the passenger seat, "Go ahead by yourself."
He put out his menthol cigarette, opened the car door and got in.
Lin Yu had no choice but to watch him leave.
