Chapter 36
Shi Yu kissed so eagerly that even Yun Lin'ai was stunned for a moment. He reacted and pressed Shi Yu in his arms, using his back to block the Omega's entire body.
His kissing skills were as bad as ever. Shi Yu soon lay on Yun Lin'ai's chest, breathing unsteadily. The Omega's eyes were red and his forehead was hot.
"Please hug me..."
Ping Fang couldn't help but begin to doubt his ears, but he quickly realized that the man in front of him might be the person Shi Yu was looking for.
My toes stood awkwardly on the floor, at a loss, and my body shifted from side to side, not knowing whether to walk or not.
Alpha quickly turned his gaze over, and Pingfang suddenly realized what had happened. He took a deep breath and said quietly, "I have something else to do, so I'll be leaving now!"
The dormitory door was closed quietly.
There was no one else around, so Yun Lin'ai turned his gaze back to Shi Yu. The other person seemed to be still resisting his heavy body, and was sticking to him very much.
Yun Linai hadn't even sat firmly when he was thrown onto the bed, followed by a more eager kiss.
He couldn't pull away, so he had to move along the person's back, gently responding to everything the other person said.
A few drops of warm liquid dripped down his face. At first, Yun Lin'ai thought they were just Shi Yu's tears, but he realized they were not until Shi Yu stopped.
The snow lotus in the dormitory gradually spread, and blood gushed out of Shi Yu's nose. He seemed to be used to it and wiped it away with the back of his hand without paying any attention. However, it seemed that too much blood was flowing, so he had to frown and stand up, staggering towards the sink.
He lowered his head and began to wash the red blood from his nose.
"Let's go to the hospital later." Yun Lin'ai reminded him from behind with a bad look on his face.
Shi Yu didn't care. He uttered something vaguely under the sound of the running water, "I'm fine now. No need to go."
When he didn't wear glasses, his 200-degree eyesight could still see some things clearly, but he still wiped his face as usual, ignored Yun Lin'ai and walked towards the bed, ready to lie down and close his eyes to sleep.
He was too cold and just wanted Yun Lin'ai to hold him and fall asleep in his arms.
The imagined scene did not come true, but Shi Yu was still pulled to sit up and a coat he had never seen before was put on him. He frowned slightly, not knowing what he was thinking about.
Yun Lin'ai couldn't wait to figure out what was going on in his mind, so he leaned over and picked him up by the waist, walked out of the dormitory building, and happened to meet a ready-made driver.
Lu Yichuang came face to face with them.
"Drive." Yun Lin'ai threw the car keys to him.
Lu Yichuang stood outside the car and found Shi Yu looking at him with a strange look on his face. He felt a little uneasy. He didn't know what had happened between the two of them that had to harm him.
He only worked tirelessly as a driver because Yun Lin'ai gave him a river-view apartment as a birthday present.
There was plenty of space in the car. Shi Yu sat uneasily on one side, his whole body pressed against the door, far away from Yun Lin'ai, with his head lowered and his mind wandering.
But Yun Lin'ai would not allow him to remain silent any longer. He pulled him over, took out Shi Yu's glasses from his shirt pocket, and put them on him.
His voice was deep and powerful, and he asked Shi Yu calmly, "Do you see clearly now?"
His vision suddenly became bright again, and he stared at Yun Lin'ai's face without blinking. The other party also looked at him, his eyes calm but deep. Shi Yu suddenly trembled.
How could it not be a dream?
The blood in his body seemed to freeze. He looked at Yun Lin'ai from beginning to end in disbelief, but did not dare to touch him. He wanted to ask something, but he was always paying attention to the driving position and could not utter a word.
I was afraid it was just another special dream he had.
"There's a partition," Yun Lin'ai told him. "Before we get to the hospital, I'm the only one who can hear it."
"Shi Yu, just say whatever you want to say."
Yun Linai took the initiative to touch the pale cheek and calmly told Shi Yu the truth, "This is not a dream."
Tears welled up in his eyes uncontrollably, and Shi Yu's breath became unsteady. He lowered his eyelids and stared at Yun Lin'ai's wrist, "Really?"
Yun Lin'ai did not answer, but bent down slightly, held the Omega's face with both hands, lowered his head and kissed Shi Yu's lips, forcing Shi Yu's face to lift up.
But before Shi Yu could indulge in it, Yun Lin'ai let him go. Shi Yu felt the real touch and the reluctant separation.
"Is it the same as in your dream?"
Shi Yu said it was different. He seldom saw Yun Linai in his dreams, so in the dormitory he was afraid that she would leave him in his dreams like before, so he kissed her so eagerly.
Yun Lin'ai's hand was held, and with a slightly cool touch, Shi Yu shouted in disbelief, "Yun Lin'ai."
The other party patiently told him, "Yes, I'm here."
Shi Yu still didn't quite believe it, and he tested Yun Linai's arms, shoulders, and face with suspicion.
The touch under my hands is real, not a dream anymore.
Yun Lin'ai was pounced on again, and this time he caught the person steadily and hugged him tightly.
The Omega was very hot due to fever, and after being awake for a while, he became dizzy again.
This time he didn't dare to stay too far away from Yun Lin'ai.
"Why are you here suddenly?" Shi Yu asked him.
Yun Linai: "I came to see you."
Shi Yu raised his pale face and observed Yun Lin'ai without blinking, not even noticing when his eyes became sore.
Yun Lin'ai pushed Shi Yu's glasses away and asked him to blink.
"How did you know I was here?"
Yun Lin'ai didn't mention that she had gone to Beidao to look for him. Instead, she reached out and touched his forehead. "If I had known you were here a second later, I might have lost you completely."
He was still frightened by the scene in the day when he rescued Shi Yu from the edge of a knife.
Shi Yu hugged him again, craving the smell of the other person.
However, his physical overdraw forced him to become drowsy again, and his glasses were taken away again. He lay on Yun Lin'ai's chest, breathing with difficulty.
Since the gland surgery, he has often had difficulty breathing and woken up in his sleep countless times, so he has become accustomed to it.
Yun Lin'ai didn't know, he couldn't get used to it.
When they sent him to the emergency room, Shi Yu's face looked very bad, and Yun Lin'ai's condition was not much better. But Shi Yu added, "I'm fine, I just have a nosebleed."
It seems that this kind of thing happens quite often, and Yun Lin'ai has no idea what diseases the other person has.
"This is because the glands are not stable." The doctor told Yun Lin'ai and gave Shi Yu another injection of antipyretic.
"So you have to be careful during the fever period."
Shi Yu fell asleep unconsciously, but was still holding Yun Lin'ai's hand, like a stray cat that was finally discovered and didn't dare to leave anyone.
Yun Lin'ai sighed, put the Omega's hand into the quilt, watched the bed for a while, and made sure that the other party would not wake up before walking out of the ward.
Whenever Lu Yichuang had some free time, he would send messages to harass Jiang Kuo. His hands were always typing and he didn't even notice when Yun Lin'ai appeared behind him.
"Please print a document for me and send it to your phone."
Without waiting for Lu Yichuang's response, he turned back to the ward, not wanting to waste even a second of his remaining rest time.
Yun Lin'ai had only been away for a few seconds when the person in the hospital bed, who hadn't seen anyone, sat on the edge of the bed and prepared to put on his shoes.
As soon as he came in, Shi Yu looked at him with a pair of red eyes.
Yun Linai took a few quick steps helplessly and carried the person back to the bed like a child, "No."
Shi Yu didn't relax yet, but asked: "You only have a little time to rest before you have to go back to the battle circle, right?"
Yun Linai paused, then told him truthfully, "We have daily assignments. Today's prisoners are still being interrogated, so we have to go back at daybreak."
Shi Yu's eyes were bright, but Yun Lin'ai could see some disappointment. The Omega didn't seem to want to be particularly clingy, and sometimes he even pretended to be strong, and asked cautiously: "Then...how long will it take..."
"When not fighting, we rest every four days." Yun Lin'ai answered Shi Yu before he finished asking.
They both knew how serious the situation in the Northwest War Zone was. Moreover, Shi Yu also knew about the team's rest time without Yun Lin'ai telling him, but the command center had always kept secrets.
He once tried to test an Alpha who looked like a captain in a refugee camp, but he was almost caught as a spy before he could even say Yun Lin'ai's name. As a result, Shi Yu didn't dare to ask anyone about Yun Lin'ai's whereabouts.
At least in the war zone, Shi Yu cannot cross the line.
"Do I have to think about useless things at this time?"
A helpless voice sounded above his head. Shi Yu raised his head and saw Yun Lin'ai standing in front of him with his back to the moonlight. It still seemed unreal.
But the other person's eyes looking at him were so clear and deep, Shi Yu looked away, "I'm not thinking about anything else."
"Tell me what you're thinking about."
Yun Lin'ai sat beside the bed and picked up Shi Yu, as if she was still very close to him even without the six years of obstacles.
The hand on Alpha's shoulder tightened unnaturally. In Yun Lin'ai's opinion, he seemed to be hesitant to get close to him.
But Yun Lin'ai didn't give him the chance and held his back tightly.
She pressed her thumb on Shi Yu's lips, but looked at him without a trace of desire.
Shi Yu had to admit that the boldness that suddenly arose in him was all guided by Yun Lin'ai. He couldn't bear it anymore and grabbed the other's fingers, pinching his middle finger with both hands and rubbing it.
There are ring marks on the fingers, but no rings.
Shi Yu opened his mouth and was about to ask something when he felt the hand on his back move to the front. Yun Lin'ai pulled out a silver chain from his shirt. As he moved, Shi Yu saw the silver ring hanging on it.
It was the one he bought.
"It's not lost." Yun Lin'ai told him.
Six years later, Shi Yu touched the silver ring that he bought only for Yun Lin'ai. After years of wear and tear, it had scratches on it, but it was still polished to a shine under the light.
Shi Yu muttered softly: "I'll buy you a better one next time."
In the past, he didn't have enough money to buy a good ring for Yun Lin'ai, but now he has a lot of money. Not only can he pay back Master Bai's high interest, but he can also buy many valuable things for Yun Lin'ai.
Even in Yun Lin'ai's eyes, these are normal little things.
"What's your reason for giving me a ring next time?"
Yun Lin'ai always gave Shi Yu difficult questions, and he couldn't answer them.
Just when he didn't know how to answer, someone knocked on the ward door. Yun Lin'ai let him go and got up to open the door.
Standing outside the door was Lu Yichuan. He first greeted Shi Yu in the ward, "Long time no see, Doctor Shi."
Hearing this address from an old friend, Shi Yu was still a little uncomfortable, but he still smiled and said to him: "Long time no see."
After saying this, Lu Yichuang didn't know whether Yun Lin'ai was jealous or what, his face, which had been calm just now, became gloomy. He took the file bag from his hand and closed the door again.
"You haven't answered my question yet."
Yun Lin'ai simply threw the file bag onto the table before returning to pick up Shi Yu. Shi Yu, bewildered, embraced him and hesitantly asked, "Boyfriend?"
There was a chuckle in his ear, and Shi Yu looked at him helplessly, not understanding what was going on. Yun Lin'ai put him on the table and opened the file bag to reveal a few things.
"Answering like that makes me feel like you're pushing the envelope."
Shi Yu was stunned when he put on the glasses, and could clearly see several large black titles on the white paper.
Two marriage applications, two post-marital security agreements, and a property distribution contract.
"When did you prepare it?" Shi Yu did not flip through the contract, but looked up at Yun Lin'ai steadily.
They had only been reunited for less than a day, so how could the other party come up with all these in such a short time.
"Six years ago," Yun Lin'ai admitted, "but it wasn't as complete then as it is now."
In the past six years, Yun Lin'ai revised the contract so many times that he couldn't even count them. He always felt that what he gave Shi Yu was too little, so he was never satisfied.
Seeing Shi Yu still staring blankly, Yun Linai reminded him, "Why don't you open it and take a look? I've been thinking about it for a long time."
The last sentence seemed to be trying to be pitiful, and was undoubtedly misleading Shi Yu.
So while Shi Yu was looking through the contract, Yun Lin'ai took out a pen from his pocket and waited silently behind him.
Shi Yu still couldn't come back to his senses after reading the contract. Every clause in it was beneficial to Shi Yu. Even if they divorced, he would get everything he deserved.
Shi Yu was hugged from behind, but he didn't notice it. "Give it all to me, you will be at a disadvantage."
"I have nothing to give you. I don't know how to do anything and I can't take good care of you."
Shi Yu tried to awaken Yun Lin'ai's rationality, but Yun Lin'ai's rationality had disappeared after meeting Shi Yu.
"You don't have to give me anything. If you must give something of equal value in exchange, that's enough."
"You are worth so much more than all of this."
His heart was pounding. His originally empty body was suddenly filled with someone. Shi Yu couldn't describe the feeling.
But there must be Yunlin's love.
Shi Yu's hand was shaking even when he signed, so Yun Lin'ai had no choice but to hold his hand and guide him to sign stroke by stroke. Finally, he casually wrote in a few strokes under Alpha's name column.
