Early in the morning, Aunt Qin came upstairs and knocked on the door to wake up Chen He who was still sleeping.
"Madam, we have two guests coming downstairs. But Mr. Su and Dr. Su are out for morning exercise, so you have to go downstairs to meet the guests."
Su Jin has recently become obsessed with practicing Tai Chi.
He also felt that Song Jingcheng was too weak, so he dragged Song Jingcheng to Jiuxing Park to practice Tai Chi at six in the morning.
It is said that Su Jin also met a master-level Tai Chi master there.
Upon learning that a guest was coming, Shen He quickly got up, washed, put on some simple makeup, and took the time to observe the guest through the surveillance.
Knowing that the host was still asleep, the guest sensibly did not go into the house, but sat at the coffee table in the front yard waiting.
Shen He observed through surveillance that they were two middle-aged men.
The man on the left is a bit bigger, wearing a jacket, with slightly graying temples. He looks righteous, and standing there like a sharp sword hidden in its sheath.
It would be fine if you don't provoke him, but if you dare to provoke him, he will draw his sword and kill you with one blow.
The man standing on the right was wearing a Chinese suit and had his hair parted back. He was about fifty years old, and there was a kindness and gentleness between his brows.
These are two men with very different personalities, but they look about the same. They must be brothers.
Chen He even found a familiar feeling on their faces.
As for where this familiar feeling came from, Shen He couldn't remember it for a moment.
After changing clothes, Shen He came downstairs.
When Aunt Qin saw Chen He coming downstairs, she hurried to the front yard to invite the two people into the house.
As soon as they entered the house, they saw Shen He standing in the living room. The man with a kinder face took the initiative to introduce himself: "Hello, Miss Shen, we are from the Jun family in Kyoto. My name is Jun Cheng, and this is my second brother Jun Jian."
Smiling, the man called Jun Cheng said, "You may not know us two brothers, but you must recognize our younger brother, Jun Lin."
Chen He suddenly realized, "You two are Jun Lin's brothers?"
Junlin's eldest brother was a politician, holding a high position, while his second brother was a resolute colonel in the military.
At first glance, it does match.
No wonder she felt familiar, because the facial features of these two people were somewhat similar to Jun Lin. However, they were older than Jun Lin and looked more mature and experienced, so Shen He did not associate them with each other.
“Yes, it seems that my younger brother has also mentioned us to Miss Shen.”
"Of course, Jun Lin often tells me about his family in Kyoto." In fact, Jun Lin kept his mouth shut about the situation of the Jun family.
Chen He only knew that Jun Lin's Jun family had an extraordinary background, with one brother in politics and the other in the military.
As for the names of these two brothers and their identities, Jun Lin never told them, and Chen He never asked.
There is still some sense of boundaries.
"What would you like to drink? Green tea or black tea?"
Jun Cheng smiled and said, "The guest should follow the host's wishes."
Jun Jian didn't say anything, but nodded slightly.
Chen He then said to Aunt Qin, "Aunt Qin, please make three cups of black tea."
Thinking of something, she added, "My grandma and the others will be home soon. I'll make another pot of tangerine peel tea. The weather has been getting cooler lately, so Jingcheng and grandma always drink a cup of tangerine peel tea every morning."
"Okay, ma'am." Aunt Qin turned around and went back to the kitchen to make tea.
Chen He took the Juncheng brothers to the reception room next door.
She lit a stick of incense, then walked over to the sofa and sat down, asking Jun Cheng and Jun Jian, "You two came so early, it must be something important, right?"
"Jun Lin and I are friends, and you two are Jun Lin's brothers, so there's no need to be polite with me. If you have anything to say, just speak frankly."
Nodding, Jun Cheng directly stated his purpose: "Miss Shen, to be honest, my brothers and I came here this time to ask Dr. Su to come out of retirement and go to Kyoto with us to treat my old man."
"Master Jun?"
Chen He heard Jun Lin talk about his father. "Jun Lin told me about Jun Lao's situation. It is said that Jun Lao had a lot of old illnesses when he was stationed in the border city in his early years."
"You don't know the information I have, right?"
Jun Cheng nodded quickly. "You're right, little brother. Our old man was stationed in a border city in his early years. The conditions there were harsh and cold, and he did suffer from rheumatism. But these aren't the most serious issues. What really worries us is his nightmares."
"Oh?" Chen He had heard her grandmother talk about nightmares before.
Nightmares are mostly psychological diseases, and only a small part of them are physical diseases.
Jun Cheng told Chen He, "When the old man was in his fifties, he was in charge of a special operation. During that operation, our mother was unfortunately caught up in the dispute and had her head...cut off in front of the old man."
When mentioning the sad event twenty years ago, Jun Cheng's eyes were covered with tears.
"At that time, my youngest brother was only three years old, I had just turned 18, and my second oldest brother was still in high school. Grandpa endured this for the sake of our family, and only now, when he's older and completely idle, have the aftereffects begun to show."
"The weather in Kyoto has been getting colder recently, and the old man's rheumatism has been getting worse. He's been having nightmares and can't sleep all night."
"Last night, I was awakened by a noise and saw my father crying while holding my mother's portrait. I realized that he had never gotten over the grief of my mother's death..."
They all thought that their father was as strong as a fortress and invulnerable to swords and guns.
But forgot.
No matter how powerful a father is, he is just a man.
As a father, he has to be strong and take care of several children.
As a general, he must protect the stability of China.
But as a man, he watched his lover being slaughtered, but in order to ensure the successful completion of the mission, he had to grit his teeth and hold back the grief.
