Chapter 227: My mouth is bleeding

The Jiuxing Villa is not far from the apartment. Just drive across the river bridge, turn a corner, and drive along the river to get there.

Xie Jin wanted to drive the car to the open-air garage, so Chen He and Song Jingcheng got out of the car at the gate of the villa.

The two held hands and just as they walked into the gate, Shen He noticed a young woman standing next to the fountain square outside the gate.

The girl looked to be about the same age as her. She was glowing white with a black mole between her brows. She had a cool and aloof look, and her beauty was very unique.

She was standing by the fountain in a goose yellow windbreaker dress, like a pearl just out of a clam, more outstanding than most of the noble ladies Chen He had seen.

Song Jingcheng told Chen He: "That's Taotao."

Chen He's eyes lit up, "No one told me that Taotao is a great beauty."

"Xie Jin is a very lucky guy."

Chen He secretly looked at Taotao and found that Taotao looked no different from a sane girl.

Just as I was thinking about it, I saw Taotao trotting over. When he saw Song Jingcheng, he said, "Uncle Song!"

Chen He glanced at Song Jingcheng secretly.

Song Jingcheng's reaction was calm.

Judging from their age, Taotao might be about the same age as Chen He, and the age difference between her and Song Jingcheng is only eight or nine years.

You can call him uncle, but it’s not necessary.

However, Taotao is mentally immature. She probably only has an IQ of eight to ten years old, so it's okay to call him uncle.

Song Jingcheng has always been patient and tolerant towards children with special circumstances.

He really put on the attitude of an elder and asked Taotao in a low voice: "Taotao, come over to play, did Aunt Qin grill chicken wings for you?"

Taotao had been to Song Jingcheng's place before and had eaten the chicken wings grilled for her by Aunt Qin. She said they were the best chicken wings in the world.

Hearing this, Taotao smiled innocently and said, "Auntie Qin is roasting a leg of lamb for me. She said it's almost done and asked me to pick you up outside."

Taotao kept standing on tiptoe and looking behind them.

Not seeing the person she missed, Taotao's eyes showed loss and helplessness. She asked Song Jingcheng: "Does Xie Jin hate me? He doesn't even come back to see me."

Chen He then said, "He's parking the car and will be here soon."

Taotao then noticed Chen He.

She tilted her head, like a real little girl, and asked Chen He curiously: "Are you Sister Chen He? I saw you on Grandma Su's phone."

Su Jin’s phone screensaver is Chen He.

Chen He smiled, "Yes, I am Chen He."

"Uncle Song, Grandma Su said you and Sister Chen He are getting married. When are you going to have the wedding? I want to eat some wedding candy."

“I want chocolate, and…”

Seeing Xie Jin approaching from afar, Taotao stopped talking about wedding candy and flew towards Xie Jin like a yellow butterfly.

She threw herself into Xie Jin's arms, hugged him tightly, and cried out loudly: "Xie Jin! You didn't answer my call!"

"You don't answer my video!"

"You even left me here with Uncle Song!"

"Xie Jin, please don't abandon me, okay?"

Taotao now has a low IQ. Although he understands basic common sense in life, he doesn't understand love between men and women.

Her feelings towards Xie Jin are complicated.

She was seriously ill and gradually lost all her memory. One day she woke up with a blank mind and didn't know who she was or what she was.

She doesn't even know the basic common sense of life.

But the first person she saw when she opened her eyes was Xie Jin, with a face full of stubble and red eyes.

Taotao developed a kind of fledgling complex towards Xie Jin.

What she feared most was that Xie Jin would no longer want her.

Let me ask you, which child in the world is not afraid of being abandoned by his parents?

Xie Jin was hugged so tightly by Taotao that his chest felt numb. He raised his arm and put his arm around Taotao's shoulders, coaxing her gently, "I'm just going to pick up Uncle Song."

"Taotao knows. I have to work to support my family. Protecting Uncle Song is my job."

In the past few years, under Xie Jin's patient teaching and companionship, Taotao has mastered the basic common sense that a person should have.

Of course she knew that people had to go to work and that work was hard. Only by working and earning money could they have enough food to eat and survive with Xie Jin.

Taotao was a simple-minded girl. After hearing Xie Jin's explanation, she finally felt relieved.

"Xie Jin, Aunt Qin roasted some lamb shanks. How about we go to Uncle Song's house and eat some?"

Xie Jin agreed.

Taotao pulled Xie Jin into the house and went to the kitchen. Chen He could hear Aunt Qin coaxing Taotao.

"Can you tell me the details about Taotao and Xie Jin?"

Chen He used to think that this matter was Xie Jin's privacy and it was inconvenient to inquire about it.

But after seeing Taotao in person today, Shen He was really curious.

"There's nothing I can't say."

Song Jingcheng pulled Chen He to sit at the tea table under the eaves. The newly hired nanny brought two bowls of hot honey tea. She said, "Madam, the master said he drank some wine tonight, so he specially asked us to prepare honey tea."

"It's the perfect temperature, you can drink it now."

"Thank you, Aunt Li."

After Aunt Li left, Shen He picked up a spoon and scooped a mouthful of honey, praising it: "This must be the honey that grandma brought from her hometown. The taste is very pure."

Pure wild honey does taste different from the one bought in supermarkets. Chen He has been eating this kind of honey since he was a child, and he knows the difference after just one taste.

She took the opportunity to feed Song Jingcheng a mouthful.

She realized that she was using her own spoon, and she had never had such an intimate interaction with Song Jingcheng before.

Shen He subconsciously wanted to withdraw the spoon.

Song Jingcheng opened his mouth, bit the spoon, and drank the hot honey tea.
