Chapter 040 Extra 2

Chapter 040 Extra 2

1. About sleeping problems

Bai Su had slept with Keos as early as when he went on a business trip to Oat Town.

Literally sleeping.

This completely answered the doubts in his mind - centaurs, like ordinary horses, can sleep lying down (with their upper body propped up, which is very strange), or they can sleep on their side (taking up a larger space), but because of their huge size, the bed they need will be much larger.

After marriage, the two lived together in Bai Su's small villa.

Bai Su specially invited craftsmen to make a super large and super sturdy bed.

As for the extended meaning of sleep...

Bai Su said that apart from the more traditional postures, every detail was impeccable.

Moreover, for his own safety, he usually asks Keos to transform into human form (Keos said that he is not used to this buff, and he finds it difficult to accept that he only has two legs. He thinks it is crazy, but he will try to adapt for the sake of his partner).

"It would be better if it were smaller..." Bai Su often held his waist and talked to himself after getting up in the morning.

2. What is a pony?

"Special horses that are less than 1.48 meters tall are collectively called ponies," Bai Su explained.

Keos nodded thoughtfully. "In my tribe, apart from centaurs like me, who are generally over two meters tall, the rest of the Shetlanders are only 60 to 90 centimeters tall. Those over one meter are rare."

Bai Su asked him, "Is there no middle number?"

"No." Keos shook his head again. "It's either two meters or more, or Shetland. There's no in between."

This conversation took place on the farm.

Bai Su finally got the little ponies he had always wanted - after obtaining the consent of Minister Robbies, he hired many young Shetland ponies to work on his farm.

They are mainly engaged in tasks such as carrying fruit carts, equestrian performances, and children's riding.

These teenagers didn't understand why Bai Su insisted on asking them to pull small carts that looked like they couldn't carry much cargo, but since they could earn some pocket money, they didn't mind these childish jobs too much.

Even Minister Robbies said that he would vote for him in this year's election of outstanding business representatives to thank him for providing these jobs.

The crops in the field have sprouted new green shoots.

Bai Su played with the rose-colored gold cake around his neck and said with a smile, "Maybe there will really be a day when I can enjoy the coolness under the wheat."

3. Farm and new restaurant

The day Lisa's new restaurant opened, it caused a huge sensation in the town.

All because Bai Su had built up momentum in advance.

Almost everyone knows that the crops that made significant contributions to the previous food crisis came from Hexia Farm run by Bai Su, and many people have long been interested in this very cheap food.

After learning that this new restaurant opened on the farm uses rice produced by Hexia Farm as its staple food, supplemented by a special culinary cuisine called Chinese food, a large number of tourists flocked to the farm.

This is also the first day that Hexia Farm officially welcomes the public.

Low-rise children's playhouses, campsites and tents, a professional horse racing track, and the cute little ponies that appear in every corner of the farm, doing different jobs...

Hexia Farm is completely popular!

Whether adults or children, they can find the leisure and entertainment that suits them.

That handsome and kind black-haired young man would take the initiative to come to every small family having a picnic and sell a kind of playing cards called poker.

For just one copper coin, he will introduce you to a unique game called Landlord.

"Unbelievable! This is really fun!" A woman said proudly after throwing out a pair of king bombs.

"Oh." Her husband touched his nose. "This is indeed more exciting than dice."

When night fell, the aroma of food mixed with oil and spices wafting from the restaurant made those who were addicted to playing cards stop their entertainment, stand up, and walk into the restaurant with their families.

On this day, the restaurant was open until the early hours of the morning.

After Bai Su and Lisa saw off the last guest at the farm gate, they felt extremely sore all over.

Bai Su rubbed his neck, Lisa held his waist, and they smiled at each other.

"My dear," Lisa said with a smile, "To this day, I still don't know how to thank you."

As she spoke, she leaned over and kissed Bai Su on the face in a lightning speed.

A big red lip mark suddenly appeared on the black-haired young man's fair cheek.

He was stunned for a moment, and before he could react, he heard a playful quip: "Hey, did I disturb you?"

Lisa giggled and threw herself into the arms of her dreadlocked boyfriend.

Bai Su was carried onto the horse by a gray-haired centaur who had also just finished his night shift.

"Go get some sleep. Faria and I will go and help you close the door," the farmer's husband said gently.

4. Holidays

As a self-employed person, Bai Su is completely free to decide his own holidays.

For example, if the weather is not sunny enough on a certain day, he will hang a sign at the farm gate saying "Closed to the public today".

Of course, in order not to affect the business of his partner, Ms. Lisa, Bai Su would open a small door on the side for those guests who came to eat specifically to pass through.

If these guests want to rest for a while in the campsite after dinner, Bai Su will not stop them.

He liked to play some equestrian sports with Keos in the stables on cloudy days.

If some of his centaur friends happened to be on leave, Keos would invite them to play a few games of polo at the stables.

This new sport learned from Bai Su has replaced handball and has become the favorite sport of all centaurs in recent times.

It also indirectly led to and facilitated many romantic relationships between Centaurs and humans.

5. Eli

Originally, Bai Su’s favorite big cat was the beautiful Eli.

He is a single man raising two kids (?), has a strong personality, and is so handsome. Old Bai Su is completely fascinated by Mr. Snow Leopard's black and white rose fur.

Until one day, Eli, who was living well in the Vatican, suddenly ran back to his parents' home.

He had a dark face and was holding a small basket in his hand.

At that time, Baisu's family was having dinner, even Minister Robis and Meera were there.

The first thing Eli did after rushing in was to stuff the small basket into Bai Su's arms, leaving a sentence: "I don't want it! I'll give it to you!" Then he ran angrily to the bedroom on the second floor that he hadn't visited for a long time.

Everyone looked at each other, not knowing what was going on.

Bai Su was about to follow and ask when he heard a very faint cry from a cub:

"Mee——"

The house was quiet for a few seconds.

Everyone's eyes were focused on the small basket that looked warm and was covered with fine velvet cushions.

Bai Su carefully lifted the small velvet covering the top.

Inside was a snow leopard cub with black rose patterns.

It was just born and its eyes were not open yet. It was a small ball with a pink mouth, calling softly.

Bai Su was overjoyed.

He put his face right in front of the little guy and announced, "Mimi, from now on you will be my favorite cat!"

6. High Priest

Bai Su had no experience in feeding such a young child, so he had to hand the little guy and the small basket to the only person present who had experience in raising cubs.

Mela took the small basket and looked confused.

But the cub's tender cry forced her to act quickly and get some food for the little guy.

"Fortunately, we have milk at home." Mela soaked some rice and planned to make some milk paste for the little guy.

Minister Robis watched silently, as if thinking about something.

Bai Su pulled Lacus's sleeve and whispered, "The little guy's other father..."

As he was speaking, the father arrived.

There were three polite knocks on the door, and a man in an elegant robe walked in from the door that Eli had just left open.

High Priest of the Vatican.

The high priest first politely greeted everyone present, then walked to the center island where the small basket was placed, lifted the small velvet cloth, looked at the little creature inside, and praised, "How cute."

There was an indescribable weirdness to this scene.

Minister Robis, on the other hand, grumbled, "I figured it was your son, mate. You're pretty slow, if you ask me."

The high priest ignored him.

Instead, he thanked Mela who was busy working: "Thank you, Mela, you are always so meticulous."

"Don't talk about me, go see him." Mela smiled meaningfully.

So the high priest turned his attention to Bai Su again.

Before he could speak, Bai Su immediately made his attitude clear: "Just go up, he's in the innermost bedroom on the second floor."

The high priest nodded slightly and walked up gracefully.

Soon, Eli's hysterical cursing was heard.

The people downstairs were unmoved and all surrounded the little snow leopard.

It’s nothing, it’s just because the little guy is so, so cute!

Alan and Gabi also turned into little tigers, jumped onto the middle island, approached the little snow leopard, and gently rubbed the little brother's head with their noses.

Three furry creatures gathered together, each one more adorable than the other.

Bai Su calculated the date and whispered to Keos, "It should have happened before our wedding."

Keos nodded in agreement.

Bai Su added, "No wonder Eli looked so angry at the dance that day..."

Before he could finish his gossip, the high priest came down with Eli.

Eli had a sour face, but he still politely thanked Meila, then picked up the small basket, walked to Bai Su, and said, "Can you help me take care of it for a while?"

"Of course!" Bai Su was a bit incoherent. He stammered, "Do you have something to do? Do you really have to go? The child is still so young."

"There's a compelling reason to go," Eli replied.

He put his face against the cub's soft little body and rubbed it gently as a farewell.

Then came the high priest, who blessed the child in front of everyone and rubbed the snow leopard's head with his fingers with great affection, ruffling the sparse soft fur.

After the two left, it took a long time for Bai Su to come back to his senses.

He held the small basket and said foolishly, "This cute baby is mine, isn't it?"

The author has something to say:

Chapter 38: The reason why Eli was angry was that he was pregnant, so he ate a large bowl of sour grapes during the day.

Did you guess it?
