Chapter 131 Hug

Chapter 131 Hug

The vast expanse of white snow constitutes the entire scenery before our eyes.

There was no extra decoration in the empty rooftop garden, not even a chair.

Under the moonlight, snow was falling in the air, and a thin layer of snow accumulated on the ground. There were even a few cold hexagonal snowflakes that fell on the tip of Mei Yang's nose.

Now, the anger in his heart was completely suppressed by the physical cooling method - how could it be? Mei Yang couldn't believe his eyes.

It's spring now, so even if there's a late spring cold snap, it shouldn't snow, right?

A gust of cold wind whistled past him. The force of the draft was quite strong. Mei Yang's clothes flew up in the wind and he almost stepped into the snow.

No way, no way...

He was startled and immediately turned around, walking down trembling.

There was no light in the dark corridor, and Mei Yang's heart was getting heavier and heavier. When he came up, he could clearly see a warm yellow light coming from the bottom of the mother tree. It was night, and there were always some restless elves who loved to hang out in the leisure area on the ground floor.

But now, Mei Yang groped his way down. Not only could he not see any light, he couldn't hear any sound either.

He guessed that he might have traveled through time again.

I just don’t know which era this time is.

Counting the floors, Mei Yang returned to the place where he and the Elf King had had a brief and warm time together a few minutes ago - he really didn't have the courage to go any further.

As he expected, the extremely depressed scene showed that he had indeed traveled through time again, and to an earlier era.

This floor was where he and the Elf King had lived together for about three or four months now. Apart from the layout, there was no similarity at all - there were no leaf sofas, paintings or dining tables in the living room, no elf fruits, and no silly roe deer mount that Mei Yang had adopted.

Empty.

Mei Yang tried to open his room, but it was empty.

In the overly quiet space, Mei Yang could hear the sound of his teeth chattering. His upper and lower lips kept trembling, his hands were shaking, and goose bumps appeared on his arms. He almost wanted to cry out loud.

Just a few minutes ago, I was in a warm room, the person I secretly like was combing my hair with warm hands, and we had a brief and harmonious conversation. How did it turn out like this now?

The double blow of physical coldness and mental distress made Mei Yang wander like a frightened bird, his chest heaving, and he wanted to cry.

But what's the point of crying? Tears that no one sees and no one comforts are meaningless.

Mei Yang sniffed, held back his tears, and closed the door of the room that no longer belonged to him.

Holding on to the last glimmer of hope, he turned the key to the door next door, which belonged to the Elf King.

——The corridor lit up with dim elemental sensor lights.

In an instant, Mei Yang was like a lit match, all his emotions were ignited in an instant.

He walked in quickly and paced around the room.

There was a light in the living room, so he turned it on. The decor was simple, and it was unclear whether it had ever been lived in. Using the light from the living room, Mei Yang surveyed the bedroom. The bed was bare, devoid of any soft furnishings. Clearly, the Elf King of this period wasn't living there.

Mei Yang first looked at the locker to make sure there were bedding and blankets to keep warm. Then he thought about it and went to the bathroom first.

He had been cold for a while and was suffering from severe hypothermia. He could clearly feel the soles of his feet gradually losing sensation. Mei Yang knew that he had to warm himself up quickly, otherwise he would be frozen to death before he could figure out the situation.

Taking a scalding hot bath is the quickest way to warm up.

Mei Yang walked into the bathroom, turned on the light, and was pleasantly surprised to find that it was no different from what it was before his last time traveling through time, mainly because the equipment and facilities were of the same manufacturing level.

He had never been to the Elf King's bathroom, but fortunately, during this period, the elves had become very proficient in the use of elemental crystals, and the bathroom was fully equipped with a shower, a bathtub, and an incinerating toilet.

Mei Yang quickly walked to the bathtub, his hands trembling, and turned on the faucet. He adjusted the temperature to the highest, filled the bath with hot water, then stripped himself naked and soaked in.

Hot water instead of cold air penetrated into Mei Yang's pores. He sighed comfortably and his body stopped shaking like a sieve.

Tick.

The tiny water droplets created continuous ripples on the surface of the hot water.

It was at this moment that Mei Yang realized that he had been crying non-stop since he entered this room.

He was shivering due to hypothermia, and his tears and sobs were hidden in an inconspicuous place. It was not until this moment that he saw them through the reflection of the water.

"Wake up, cub." The Elf King patted the strange black-haired boy's face, trying to wake him up.

More than ten minutes had passed since the Elf King had been rushing into the Dark Forest day and night, returned to the Elf Mother Tree, walked into this white and bright room where he occasionally came back to rest, and discovered this naked cub soaking in the water.

There were tear marks on the cub's face, its eyelashes were wet and looked very pitiful. It was sleeping on the edge of the bathtub with its mouth pouting and its head tilted, looking like it had suffered a lot.

The Elf King stared at him for a while, still unable to understand how this cub, who looked like a human, could fly so high up in his room.

The water temperature gradually became cooler, and the cub showed no sign of waking up, so the Elf King had to call him.

I called a few times, but there was no response.

So the Elf King tried some tricks. The moment his fingertips touched the cub's cheek, he realized that the cub's skin wasn't red from the hot water; his entire body temperature was almost higher than the bath water. He was running a high fever.

No wonder he can’t be woken up.

If you continue to sleep like this, big problems will definitely arise.

The Elf King called him and made some small movements that did not cause any pain, but the dizzy black-haired cub just frowned and showed no intention of waking up.

As a last resort, the Elf King used a dirty trick. He pinched the tip of the cub's upturned nose with two fingers. The cub had difficulty breathing and subconsciously opened his mouth. Not only did he not get any air, he also drank a big mouthful of bath water.

Now, he finally woke up.

Mei Yang opened his eyes. He didn't know how he fell asleep crying. He didn't even know that he had fallen asleep and woken up.

"Cub, are you okay?" the magnetic male voice asked gently.

The light in the bathroom was soft. Mei Yang blinked for a few seconds to adjust. When he saw the handsome man in front of him clearly, he didn't have time to think and pounced on him.

The water in the bathtub splashed all over the floor. Mei Yang didn't see the Elf King's stunned expression at all, and didn't care about his stiff body reaction. He hugged his neck tightly and squeezed into his arms.

He could not hear any sound in his ears, and could only mutter to himself:

"Why did you come just now? I was so scared..."

"I was so cold, really cold. I cried for a long time. I missed you so much."

"I missed you so much, Daddy. I missed you so much."

The cub in his arms murmured something he couldn't understand. The Elf King was stunned at first, but when he heard the word daddy, a strange feeling rose from his soul.

His heart seemed to be locked by something powerful, heavy and full of love and responsibility.

The Elf King didn't understand what this was.

He didn't know what kind of excitement Mei Yang was in. He just thought that the naked cub was very cold, so he rushed into his arms. His hot cheeks rubbed against his exposed neck skin like a puppy, as if he had to tear off his clothes and put his skin against his to get a little sense of security.

After a moment's hesitation, the Elf King placed his hand on Mei Yangguang's bare back, patted it gently, and said, "Don't be afraid, little one, I'm here."

Ten minutes later, Mei Yang was tucked naked into the newly made bed.

The tear marks on his face had been washed away, and his hair had been dried by the man's magic. Except for the slightly red and swollen eye sockets, he looked like a fragrant and soft bun, fluffy and delicious.

His eyes were rolling around, looking very clever.

Seeing the Elf King return to the bathroom, Mei Yang, who suddenly had a baby bird complex, quickly wrapped himself in the quilt and followed him in.

He didn't make a fuss, just stood at the door, watching the man's actions quietly, with his eyes unable to hold anything else.

The Elf King was washing clothes for the cub by the sink. He noticed that the cub's clothes were not of human style, but of the fabric and textile technology commonly used by elves.

It was just a harmless cub, and the Elf King was not in a hurry to ask about Mei Yang's life experience. The most urgent thing was to get through tonight, and if appropriate, take the cub back to town to see a doctor tomorrow.

It was snowing heavily, so close-fitting clothes should be as form-fitting as possible. The Elf King hurried to wash and dry the snow-soaked clothes for the cub.

While washing, the Elf King felt as if he was locked by some small animal. Turning around, he saw Mei Yang standing behind him, staring at him with puppy eyes.

Elf King: “…”

"I'm not doing anything, just watching." Mei Yang explained.

The Elf King sighed, said nothing, turned around and continued to rub the cub's underwear.

However, Mei Yang, who saw this scene from behind, was so embarrassed that he dug his toes into the ground.

After the Elf King finished washing Mei Yang's clothes, he threw this rather miniature suit into the clothes basket, intending to dry it together with his own later.

He wiped the water off his hands, walked up to Mei Yang, picked up the black-haired kid wrapped like a French croissant, put him at the bathroom door, and pretended to close it.

Mei Yang was anxious: "Don't lock me out, I'm scared."

"I didn't lock you out, I locked myself in." The Elf King said helplessly, "Cub, I need a bath."

Only then did Mei Yang notice the water stains on his clothes and the mess of his long hair that he had made.

"Oh, then I'll wait for you outside." Mei Yang murmured.

"Okay, don't be afraid, I'll be fine soon." The Elf King rubbed Mei Yang's soft black hair and comforted her.

Then, with the cub's reluctant look in his eyes, he quickly closed the bathroom door.

The bedroom was pitch black, with only some light coming from the bathroom. Mei Yang heard the sound of clothes rubbing against each other, bare feet walking on the floor, and water spraying from the shower head.

The sound of water was infinitely amplified by the quiet night. Mei Yang was not sure if he really heard the man's satisfied sigh from the baptism of hot water.

Perhaps, this sound came from his imagination.

He leaned against the door, head down, heart pounding, thinking, actually I don't have to go out, I want to see it.
