Chapter 95 Siren Naga
Vespera almost thought that he was going to have a mermaid pet. He noticed that Naga's eyes were very bright, like shining golden stars. She looked at him, then at the crown, with an expression of surprise.
The smile on Vespera's face gradually widened, but the next second, he saw Naga's expression change and she suddenly turned her head to look behind her.
Following the mermaid's gaze, Vespera discovered that there seemed to be a small black dot on the edge of the orange sunset. It was very small and could be easily overlooked if one did not look carefully.
The black spot seemed to be closer to the sea surface. It was against the light, and Vespella couldn't see what it was. She could only see a swaying bulge on each side of it.
Are they flapping their wings? Vesperia thought of the girl from yesterday.
It flew close to the sea surface, heading towards where he and Naga were.
While Vesperia was stunned, Naga quickly returned the crown to him and made a few anxious gestures. Seeing that Vesperia didn't understand, the anxious Naga simply propped herself up and gently kissed the prince on the handsome cheek.
It was a chaste, eager kiss, wet with saliva.
There was no erotic taste in it, it was a bit like a puppy licking to please its owner. When the jelly-like pouting lips left the cheek, Vespella even clearly heard a "pop" sound.
Then, before he could come to his senses, the mermaid dived into the sea, and suddenly jumped out of the water a few seconds later, wrapping her tail around the girl with wings on her back and dragging her into the sea.
After the huge splash, the sea returned to calm again.
Everything happened so fast that Vespera still couldn't see what the girl looked like.
Why is the Naga so wary of her?
Vespera stroked the saliva marks on her face where the mermaid had just kissed her, and seemed to be lost in thought.
Naga, young girl, seductive singing... all these strange things combined make the mystery in Vespera's heart bigger and bigger, and he must figure out the connection between them.
Vespera was grateful to the Naga for saving his life. He wanted to capture and raise him, and let the Naga stay by his side, provided that the Naga recognized him.
Even now, he has to rely on mermaids to feed himself in order to get enough vitamins.
But as a prince, with a rich land, he is certainly entitled to own a mermaid, no matter what his reasons are.
Vespera himself did not realize that after he traveled through time and gained a healthy body and a more noble status, his mentality also quietly changed.
He became more arrogant.
He no longer just admired those beautiful things that pleased him. Vesperia wanted to own them. His desire for novelty and exclusivity grew along with his fondness for them.
He wanted to raise the Naga, and if possible, the wonderful girl with wings on her back as well.
As a prince and future king, he deserves all the rare treasures.
The beautiful and powerful Naga will be his first treasure.
While changing her shoes, Vespella called the guards to pack her beach sun suit. When everything was packed up and Vespella put the crown that she had not given away back on her head, the sun was just beginning to set.
Maybe I can take these five baskets of kelp back home as a snack before dinner.
"Let's go back." Vespera handed the packed folding chair to the guards and walked in front with empty hands.
He was in a good mood and planned to come early tomorrow. He had to develop a good relationship with Naga before the ship was repaired so that he could convince Naga to go with him.
The prince, who had only seen the innocent and cute side of Naga, subconsciously ignored the ferocity of Naga when she bared her fangs at him. As the top predator in the ocean, whose animality was higher than human, how could Naga be a harmless mermaid who was at his mercy?
Sooner or later the prince will pay the price for his arrogance.
·
Naga was very happy when she received the crown.
He was so happy that his tail was almost knotted. He thought that he was much smarter than the little mermaid in the fairy tale. He made the prince fall in love with him so quickly.
Becoming a princess is just around the corner!
Naga looked at Vespera with sparkling eyes, anticipating his next words.
——Beautiful mermaid, would you like to go to my country with me?
After this sentence, it’s a proposal, right?
What would Vespera say? Would he kiss me after proposing? "Seal it with a kiss," as the story goes?
Naga just looked at the handsome prince quietly. She firmly believed that at this moment, she was the little mermaid who would have a happy marriage.
But the arrival of another top predator in the ocean made Naga's face change drastically - Siren, his ugly cousin, appeared at such an important moment when she was about to be proposed to by the prince.
This dead bird with malicious intentions. Naga almost wanted to curse out loud.
But he still remembered that according to the fairy tale, he was a little mermaid who made a deal with a witch and lost his beautiful singing voice, so Naga had to endure it.
He gestured for a long time towards Vespera, who had also noticed something unusual. Naga actually wanted to tell Vespera that he agreed to his proposal, but Vespera didn't seem to understand.
The sirens were getting closer.
Naga had no choice but to kiss Vespella on the cheek to seal the deal with her, then turned around to deal with the Siren.
Naga swam quickly in the shallow sea. His blue hair and snake tail provided good concealment, making him almost blend into the ocean.
In fact, it was only a dozen seconds. Before the Siren entered the human's field of vision where he could be seen clearly, the Naga successfully launched a sneak attack.
He suddenly jumped out of the water. His snake tail was well-developed muscles. When it curled up and expanded, it gave his body a strong jumping ability, which could almost simulate gliding. Therefore, Naga easily caught the low-flying Siren and sank into the sea with his dead bird cousin wrapped around his tail.
Naga locked Siren's throat with her tail and dragged him around in the sea for two circles. Only after Vespera and his guards left the beach did Naga let go of her cousin, whose eyes rolled back to the back of his head.
"Cough, cough, cough!" A monster that looked like a young girl, but had a human-headed bird-body like an eagle below the neck, was standing on the reef and coughing violently.
His face was much softer than Naga's, and his voice was gentle and clear. Because he choked on water, his face was pale with a little abnormal redness. He coughed and flapped his chest with his gray wings.
When its body shook, a lot of feathers fell off, making it look weird and embarrassed.
Naga half emerged from the water and looked at him with a gloomy expression.
"Siren, stay away from my humans." Naga said in a deep voice.
His voice was hoarse, and sounded greasy and hollow, like some kind of snake - no, not like, Naga is a half-human, half-snake siren.
"Ridiculous!" Siren said, his voice closer to the girl than his face, "You don't really think you're a little mermaid? You're out of your mind."
"You're out of your mind." Naga cursed back fiercely, "If you come close to my human again, I will really kill you."
Siren stared at Naga for a while and found that he was speaking very seriously. She felt a chill in her heart as she thought he might really kill herself.
The Siren didn't dare to talk back. She flapped her wet wings and flew away with difficulty.
After driving away the annoying dead bird cousin, Naga's mood returned to normal.
He watched the magnificent sunset alone on the reef, then went hunting for a tuna, but only ate half of it. Finally, when the moonlight shone on the sea, he imitated the siren and tried to hum a song.
However, the effect was not good. With his low and hoarse voice, his singing sounded like a strange spell, which scared away all the fish and shrimp that were close to him.
Naga felt bored, so he stopped forcing himself and dived into the seabed and came to a cave, which was his nest.
The blue siren nestled into a huge shell bed, held a waterproof hardcover book soaked in tung oil in her arms, and fell asleep in a short while.
…
In the morning, Naga woke up with the kiss of the clownfish.
He simply combed his hair and took out a few treasured clam shells and starfish and pinned them on his ears. Only after confirming that his look today was suitable for meeting the prince did Naga go out.
He swam for a long, long time following the direction of the ocean current, from the warm waters to the cold areas, and finally stopped at a shore.
This is the sailing town in the western continent, and it is evening.
On this coastal shallow beach, there are many houses and walkways built with wood. Naga quietly walked around to the back of a house with the most ambiguous lights, lay on the wooden railings, and listened to the people inside telling stories.
The bard that the Naga loves is currently touring this floating tavern.
At first, Naga heard from some turtles that there was a bard named Sang Luo who appeared in the western continent. He incorporated many animals and plants into his stories. The turtles were very happy that they played a role in "The Little Mermaid".
Naga asked them what "The Little Mermaid" was, but the old turtles couldn't explain it for a long time, so Naga decided to go and see for herself.
That day, he swam to the nearest port town to his cave, the sailing town.
Coincidentally, the bard was promoting his new book in person, and Naga had the opportunity to hear a live version of the story of the Little Mermaid.
He was fascinated by the story and cried several times for the love between the prince and the little mermaid.
So, Naga made a decision - from now on, he was no longer a siren, but a mermaid.
Anyway, he looks so much like the Little Mermaid in the story, and there are no mermaids with human bodies and fish tails in the sea, so if he is not the Little Mermaid, who is it?
He wants to develop a beautiful love with the prince just like in a fairy tale.
Naga waited and waited, and he often roamed around the sea, looking for any prince who was left alone.
He was really lucky. Not long after, a cruise ship departing from the capital of the human empire attracted the attention of the Naga - there was actually a prince on it!
A young man with blond hair, blue eyes, a charming smile and gorgeous clothes, what else could he be but a prince?
On the sea at night, Naga stared at the figure of the handsome human youth standing on the deck, planning how to rescue the prince.
But before he could do anything, his dead bird cousin suddenly showed up to cause trouble.
All right, let’s save the prince first, and then deal with the dead bird cousin who harmed the prince. Naga thought so.
