Chapter 32 A Kiss
As the night grew cooler, a chill seeped into my clothes, as if trying to penetrate my bones.
Perhaps because he has too little body fat, Wang Yan is particularly afraid of the cold.
Wang Yan opened the wardrobe and put on a plaid shirt.
There was still half an hour until 6 p.m.
Su Yueming peered through the crack at Wang Yan's departing figure, unable to remain indifferent.
"Is this the friend you mentioned last time?"
Su Yueming couldn't help but tentatively ask Wang Yan.
If it were a meal with that so-called friend, Su Yueming felt he could accept it.
The sky outside the window had completely darkened, and the bedroom was shrouded in a hazy darkness.
Wang Yan raised his hand and turned on the bedroom light, the bright light spilling down like mist.
He looked at Su Yueming, who was sitting upright on the edge of the bed with his arms crossed over his chest.
"no."
Wang Yan is not good at lying.
Su Yueming felt his blood rushing backward, and a sense of insecurity surged towards him like a torrent.
"He...he's better looking than me?"
Su Yueming asked the question without thinking.
We never know what harm a casual remark might cause to someone.
For example, the reason that Wang Yan casually came up with became the source of Su Yueming's unease.
Wang Yan, of course, also noticed it.
Why would you think that?
The side of the bed sank down, and Wang Yan sat on the edge of the bed, very close to Su Yueming.
Su Yueming pursed his lips. He didn't answer, mainly because he was afraid that if he did, he would seem too calculating.
Seeing that he didn't speak, Wang Yan subconsciously raised his hand to poke his cheek.
Just as he was about to touch it, Wang Yan stopped.
His eyes flickered with emotion. Although he knew that Su Yueming had developed feelings for him, Wang Yan still didn't have the courage to touch her. In his heart, Su Yueming was like a flower on a high mountain, only to be admired from afar and not to be trifled with.
After a while, Wang Yan withdrew his hand and placed it back on his knee.
Why aren't you saying anything?
Wang Yan lowered his gaze, hating his own hesitation and inner conflict.
I want to kiss you.
Su Yueming spoke with a straight face.
Wang Yan looked at him incredulously; this was too sudden.
"What?"
Wang Yan thought he had misheard, because Su Yueming's words were spoken without any inflection; anyone who didn't know better would think he was talking about the weather.
I want to kiss you.
Su Yueming repeated frankly.
Although the two had already kissed, Wang Yan still couldn't stand his directness.
A blush spread from her cheeks all the way down to her neck, as if she had applied blush.
"This, this is too sudden..."
"But I don't think so."
Su Yueming was speaking from the heart; he had wanted to do this for a long time.
If you ask Su Yueming when he realized he had fallen for Wang Yan, it must have been in a dream.
He kissed Wang Yan countless times in his dreams, so much so that he felt a huge sense of loss every time he woke up.
“Come on,” Su Yueming’s voice carried a seductive power, “Don’t you want to?”
These words echoed in Wang Yan's ears like a curse.
By the time he realized what was happening, he had already leaned towards Su Yueming.
Wang Yan thought the kiss would land on his cheek, but unexpectedly, he felt a pain in his neck.
A soft moan escaped his lips, and a slight pain made him furrow his brow.
Su Yueming noticed his pain and licked the spot with a conciliatory tone.
"Sorry, I hurt you."
It was supposed to be an apology, but Su Yueming said it without any sincerity.
"It's okay, you didn't do it on purpose."
"The bite is already done, there's no point in saying anything else," Wang Yan thought to himself.
Su Yueming had reservations about the phrase "You didn't do it on purpose," because he did do it on purpose.
He stuck out his tongue and licked his own sharp teeth, as if the sweet taste of Wang Yan still lingered between his lips and teeth.
"Let's go eat," Su Yueming thoughtfully reminded him. "Don't be late if you're having dinner with your friends."
After being reminded, Wang Yan hurriedly picked up his phone and checked the time.
There are fifteen minutes left until six o'clock.
Wang Yan immediately became anxious, as it was not good to make the students wait for their teacher.
"Then I'm leaving."
Even knowing that Su Yueming couldn't see him, Wang Yan still waved at him.
Because he was in such a hurry, Wang Yan didn't have time to look in the mirror, so he didn't know how conspicuous the hickey was.
Wang Yan was ultimately late.
He arrived at the hotel location that Shen Le'an had sent him at 6:10.
As he pushed open the door to the restaurant, and the machine announced "Welcome," Shen Le'an turned around at the opportune moment.
Upon seeing that it was Wang Yanhou who walked in, his tense heart instantly relaxed.
He thought that Teacher Wang had stood him up.
Thankfully, no.
Shen Le'an stood up and waved to Wang Yan.
Upon seeing this, Wang Yan lifted his foot and walked towards him.
"Sorry I'm late."
Wang Yan is actually a very punctual person, so he was genuinely sorry for being late this time.
"Then how will you make it up to me, teacher?"
Shen Le'an spoke playfully; he was the kind of person who would climb to the top if given a ladder.
Wang Yan sat down opposite him in surprise; he probably really couldn't keep up with the times.
"What kind of compensation do you want?" Wang Yan asked seriously.
Shen Le'an blinked quickly. "I was just kidding. Look how scared you are, teacher."
Wang Yan smiled, pursing his lips, laughing at how old he really was.
The temperature inside the restaurant was higher than outside, and my jacket felt a bit too warm.
So Wang Yan took off his coat and casually draped it over the chair next to him.
"Teacher, what would you like to eat?"
Shen Le'an pushed the recipe in front of Wang Yan, and in just one second he saw the hickeys on the other's neck.
The smile on his face vanished instantly.
Wang Yan was completely unaware of this, and looked up at Shen Le'an earnestly, saying, "Just choose what you like to eat, I'm not picky."
"How about this?"
Shen Le'an had no choice but to pick up the menu again, his gaze drifting to the names of the dishes.
My mind is filled with the hickeys on Wang Yan's neck.
Was he doing it intentionally or unintentionally? Was he hinting at something to himself? Shen Le'an couldn't figure it out.
In the end, he only ordered a few dishes casually, saying, "That's all."
"OK."
The waiter slowly left with the menu.
Shen Le'an looked at Wang Yan again, his gaze pointed: "Teacher, do you have a girlfriend?"
Wang Yan felt that his question was abrupt, and even somewhat offensive.
Just as he was about to brush it off, Shen Le'an added, "I was just a little curious. Someone as good as the teacher must have no shortage of admirers."
I don't have a girlfriend.
Wang Yan still answered his question.
Shen Le'an chuckled lightly, but the smile didn't reach her eyes: "So, the teacher has a boyfriend."
His words pierced Wang Yan's ears like thorns, causing him to frown instantly.
