Chapter 3 You're Cuckolded

Chapter 3 You're Cuckolded

In the back seat of the black Lincoln, Chu Rongshi was listening to his assistant reporting on work progress when his cell phone vibrated.

Chu Rongshi glanced at the caller and picked up the phone: "Sorry, I have to take a call."

The call was connected, and Ning Min's anxious voice came through the receiver: "Rong Shi, Nian Nian is in trouble again. She is now in the First People's Hospital. I am too far away from there. Please go and see what's going on."

Chu Rongshi: "Okay, don't worry, I'll be there soon."

After hanging up the phone, Chu Rongshi asked the driver to transfer to the First People's Hospital. He didn't say anything during this period, but his assistant Minrui noticed that Chu Rongshi was in a bad mood.

He just vaguely heard some of the content of his boss's phone call, it seemed that the boss's brother was in trouble again.

But the assistant was a little strange. The boss had encountered this kind of situation before when he was working. But the boss might have gotten used to it, or simply regarded Qi Nian as a pile of mud. The reason why he cared about the other party was because he was afraid of worrying his mother.

So the boss never has any extra emotions, but what happened this time? Why is he so unhappy?

The assistant was a little confused, but he estimated that Qi Nian was in trouble. However, there was no sympathy for the other party. He was always causing trouble. If it was his brother, he would have broken his legs.

Chu Rongshi's face became even darker as he thought of the face he saw this morning, which looked like the well-behaved child he had seen many years ago.

——

"Mr. Han Jie, calm down." The young counselor softened the excited woman with a headache.

The woman is Han Jie's mother. She has a similar face to Han Jie and the same sarcastic attitude.

The other person was wearing branded clothes and had a look of disdain on his face. He tried to pass over the counselor with his short and fat body and kept swearing at Qi Nian.

After hearing what the counselor said, Han's mother looked at her with disdain: "How can you expect me to stay calm?! Little girl, you are my son's teacher, right? Look at what my son has become, and you are still taking sides. I'm not saying that you are just too young. When you have children, you will understand how I feel now."

The counselor wiped the spit from her face and explained again: "Mother Han, I'm not biased. Your son fell down by himself. It's not the fault of this classmate Qi Nian."

"You still say you're not biased!" Mother Han stepped on her high heels, put her hands on her waist, and jumped up and down like a spring ball. "My son is so big, and he fell down for no reason? Look at what he has become. Do you think I'm stupid?"

Han Jie was seen sitting on a chair, with a white gauze wrapped around his forehead and his face was a little pale. But for some reason, he didn't say anything from beginning to end. He just looked at Qi Nian with a bit of hatred and jealousy.

Qi Nian stood behind the counselor, his head down without saying a word, his curly hair drooping listlessly. He was already good-looking, and now he looked even more lovable.

Like a bullied little lamb.

A nurse who couldn't bear to watch came over and reminded Han's mother: "Madam, this is a hospital, there are other patients, please calm down."

The married Korean mother didn't recognize anyone and pointed at the nurse and said, "You have nothing to do, right? Go and take care of my son. Don't you see what has become of my son? You are so irresponsible. Be careful or I will complain to you!"

The nurse didn't expect this person to be so unreasonable. She was so angry that her face turned red. In the end, she didn't say anything and turned away.

The counselor had a headache on her face. Although Qi Nian usually loved to stir up trouble, she knew when something went wrong and thought it was the other person's fault.

But in the end, it was figured out that it was not Qi Nian's fault at all, it was entirely Han Jie's own problem. But when Han's mother came over, she started scolding people indiscriminately. She had really never seen such an unreasonable person.

After all, the counselor is young and is still a graduate student. She is almost crying because of this.

As a result, she was not paying attention and was pushed by the Korean mother again. Although she was tall, she was thin, and she fell backwards after being pushed back by the other party.

A pair of hands suddenly held her arms. The counselor turned her head and saw it was Qi Nian.

Qi Nian just helped her for a moment and immediately let go. He looked at Mother Han, who had great fighting ability, and stood in front of the counselor without hesitation.

After holding it in for a long time, he finally stammered, "You...why did you do that?...This is not right!"

The counselor stepped forward and tried to continue to persuade Mother Han, saying that these were her students after all and she couldn't just ignore them.

Mother Han sneered, and the flesh on her face trembled: "If you don't want me to do it, go and apologize to my son. Bow 90 degrees!"

When Chu Rongshi came over, he heard Mother Han's sharp and harsh voice from afar. He walked over and saw Qi Nian, who was trying to raise his head with a flushed face.

The other party clenched his fists, pursed his lips, and looked at the person opposite him stubbornly, like a little lamb facing a vicious wolf.

Seeing that Qi Nian didn't say anything, Han's mother wanted to scold him again, but a cold voice came from the side: "Apologize? Are you too anxious?"

Mother Han turned her head subconsciously and saw a man wearing a high-end suit. His aura was so strong that she was a little scared. Behind him was an elite man wearing glasses.

Mother Han's voice suddenly became much weaker: "Who are you?"

Chu Rongshi walked towards Qi Nian. Mother Han stepped back subconsciously and looked at the man standing in front of Qi Nian, with an obvious protective attitude: "I am Qi Nian's brother. I have heard what you just said. If your son's injury was indeed caused by my brother, I will naturally ask him to apologize and give you satisfactory compensation."

Before Han's mother could smile, he said, "But if it's not his fault, how can you compensate him for the harm caused to a child who has just grown up because of your aggressive attitude? What if he has psychological problems because of this? Can you take responsibility?"

Qi Nian appeared from Chu Rongshi's perspective, and was stunned when he found that the other party was standing directly in front of him to protect him.

He had never been so protected before. At this moment, Qi Nian suddenly felt that Chu Rongshi was not scary at all. He blinked his eyes to avoid crying.

With the counselor's comforting voice in her ears, Qi Nian secretly went to see Mother Han under Chu Rongshi's protection.

Then she curled her lips: [She must not know where her husband is now, right? ]

Mother Han originally wanted to defend herself, but suddenly she heard Qi Nian's words and subconsciously thought, my husband has gone out to discuss big business, where else could he be?

Chu Rongshi paused for a moment, thinking that Qi Nian had not spoken before, but he heard the other party's voice.

Qi Nian began to ask and answer herself: [Her husband has recently found another... Let me see, oh, he should be in his sixth year, and he is in room 203 of xx hotel. She didn't hurry to catch the adulterer, but instead she is here to embarrass me, a child who has just come of age, ahem... That's what my brother said, and it's really not my fault, her son is so vicious, framing others, that Lu Ze seems to be preparing to jump off the building, and is writing a suicide note, ah... Why is she so depressed, but it should not be too late to stop him now, right? ]

Hearing him speak so clearly, Mother Han exclaimed: "!"

Counselor: “!!!” Lu Ze is also my student!

Chu Rongshi looked at the two people running away in panic, then turned to look at Qi Nian. The latter still had a pair of innocent deer eyes wide open, as if he didn't understand what he had said.

Seeing Chu Rongshi looking at him, Qi Nian inevitably became nervous again, but thinking of how the other party had just defended him, he still mustered up his courage: "Brother, ... thank you."

Chu Rongshi glanced at his rosy little face, looked away, and still just said "hmm" faintly.
