When Gu Xingyun turned around, he saw someone standing next to his pool.
She took a rare step back, showing her timidity, and lowered her eyes to see the jade pendant in Yan Huailiu's hand.
Perhaps he was disgusted by the jade pendant being placed on dirty clothes, so Yan Huailiu squatted down, rinsed it in the pool twice, and then used his spiritual power to clean it up.
Then he shook it towards Gu Xingyun: "It looks exactly like the one I had before. Here..."
He pointed to the small missing piece on the lower right corner of the jade pendant and said, "They're all broken in the same way."
Although it was a questioning tone, the corners of his mouth were almost flying up to the sky.
Gu Xingyun breathed a sigh of relief for some reason, and while observing Yan Huailiu's expression, he slowly moved over.
After making sure that his master's expression hadn't changed, that he didn't frown or show any disgust, he reached out to grab the jade pendant.
"It belonged to Master before, but now it belongs to me."
Yan Huailiu dodged his hand and wanted to say something playful: "I don't remember ever saying I would give it to you. Isn't it true that jade pendants can't be given away casually?"
Gu Xingyun laughed and said, "Indeed, Master originally wanted to give it to Fairy Fei Miao, but she didn't want it, so it ended up in my hands."
Yan Huailiu: ...
No, shouldn't they exchange some ambiguous words with each other at this time?
Isn’t this the beginning of a little romance between a young couple?
Why didn't it develop the way he wanted?
Does Gu Xingyun have any romantic cells in his mind?
Aren't you usually quite clever and good at saying cheesy love words?
Why are you being so sarcastic here now?
While he was in a daze, Gu Xingyun stood up, snatched the jade pendant, and forced it on his wrist.
"Master, now that the things are in my hands, it's impossible for me to give them to someone else."
Yan Huailiu rolled his eyes at him, angrily kicked the clothes next to him, made sure there was nothing else inside, and burned the dirty clothes.
"Master, those clothes can be worn again after washing." After Gu Xingyun reminded him, he suddenly thought of what happened at the beginning.
"Master, was my last set of clothes burned like this? This is the second set you've burned."
"Leave me alone!" Yan Huailiu was still a little angry, and only calmed down after saying this.
"It's too dirty. There's no need to wash it. Wear something new."
Gu Xingyun glanced at the pile of ashes with a hint of regret, and then looked at Yan Huailiu who was standing on the shore.
His master looked particularly handsome after taking a bath, and there were countless people coveting his appearance.
"Master, did you come here specifically to burn your disciple's dirty clothes?" Gu Xingyun stood up with a smile.
Pretending not to see Yan Huailiu's sudden turn and his red ears.
He just walked out, wiped himself casually and started to put on his clothes, his movements were so slow.
Yan Huailiu turned his back to him and said, "No, I just wanted to ask if you have a hair crown or something like that. It's uncomfortable to have your hair loose like this."
Gu Xingyun took out a small hair crown with a golden dragon pattern and handed it over: "Yes, can I use this?"
Glancing at Gu Xingyun's cuffs, Yan Huailiu turned around: "Oh, sure."
He did not take it, but held Gu Xingyun's hand, took off the jade pendant, and carefully tied it around his apprentice's waist.
"It suits you very well. It looks best on you. It doesn't look good on anyone else."
This was quite straightforward for him, and he withdrew his hand embarrassedly after saying it.
Gu Xingyun understood the meaning of his words, and his mood instantly improved, with the ending tone of his voice rising noticeably.
"Thank you, Master."
"Well, I don't know how to tie my hair. Can you help me later? What do you smell like? It smells pretty good."
Yan Huailiu was so nervous that he tried to find random topics to talk about.
Gu Xingyun, who had been keeping a distance from him, finally stepped forward and hugged him in his arms after hearing this.
"Okay, disciple will help Master tie his hair."
"You haven't wiped the water off yet, don't rub it...my new clothes..."
Yan Huailiu complained softly, but did not push him away. Instead, he reached out and hugged him tightly.
It was only after meeting Gu Xingyun that he realized how much he longed for a hug.
It seems that there is no need to hide all the time. You can get positive feedback by occasionally stepping out of your safe house.
Hugs really are good medicine.
Fatigue, anxiety, and all negative emotions will disappear when you hug.
Gu Xingyun smiled and stroked his long hair: "Master is always so inconsistent with what he says."
The two of them were in front of the bamboo forest, one helping to tie the hair and the other helping to cover the eyes, very harmonious.
As he was being led out, Gu Xingyun brought up old matters.
"Master still owes me a headband. He said he would return it, but he never did. Can you give this to me?"
Yan Huailiu blushed: "Okay, I have a bad memory, you can remind me... I'll find a new one for you when we get back."
"The one I sewed before was made by me." Gu Xingyun became more and more demanding.
"I can't sew." Yan Huailiu muttered softly, then resigned himself to his fate and said, "Okay, I'll try."
"Disciple likes the moon. Master, can you sew a pattern like this on it?"
Yan Huailiu finally couldn't help it: "If you say one more word, there will be nothing left!"
Don't think he can't understand what this means!
Gu Xingyun shut up obediently.
Back in the room, Yan Huailiu took out paper and pen and sat there drawing seriously.
Gu Xingyun didn't hear any sound for a long time, so he simply removed the cover.
"What is Master drawing?"
Yan Huailiu glanced at him, handed the paper over, then walked to the door, set up a few barriers, closed the door and came back to explain.
