"What's wrong with you? Why are you here?"
"Am I dreaming?"
Yan Huailiu spoke softly, lowered his head and pinched his arm.
He felt a sharp pain and was a little dazed: "It's not a dream."
But when he looked up again, the dark shadow had disappeared.
Yan Huailiu looked around anxiously, and after a moment he collapsed again: "It turned out to be an illusion, Xiao Ba, can you help me contact my doctor?"
There was no response in the quiet room.
Little Lightning tilted his head and looked at him, not quite understanding what he meant.
Yan Huailiu lay on his side and wrapped himself up again.
Little Lightning lay down beside him helplessly, waiting for Yan Huailiu to adjust himself.
This person is getting weirder and weirder.
He disappeared for more than half a month.
In the Yuxu Sect, Baili Changhuan finally got angry after helping to deal with affairs for several days.
After asking all the disciples, I still couldn't find Yan Huailiu.
He even suspected that Yan Huailiu had secretly left Yuxu Sect to have fun outside, and sent people to inquire about the situation outside, but still received no news.
"Tell me again what he said. Did you miss anything?"
Baili Changhuan frowned and asked Chang Sui.
Chang Sui blinked his eyes and said, "Little Uncle, Master really only said that he was going to go into seclusion, and didn't say anything else."
"Is there anything else wrong?"
Baili Changhuan's face looked a little ugly.
Chang Sui nodded and said, "Yes, Master was talking to us happily at first, but suddenly he became serious and walked out with the kitten in his arms."
"You've already said this." Baili Changhuan raised his hand to interrupt.
Chang Sui felt aggrieved: "But that's all I have. No matter how many times you ask, it's always the same."
"Forget it, go and do your own thing. If you see your master coming back, tell me right away. Got it?"
Baili Changhuan expressed his exhaustion. A few more disciples were running towards him from a distance. He held his forehead with his hand, thinking about the possibility of just giving up.
After finally getting rid of the questioning, Chang Sui ran back to his residence to pack his things.
"Big Brother, I'm going to the back mountain to see if I can find some Ganoderma lucidum. I might be back a little late. Is there anything you need me to bring?"
Gu Xingyun sat there polishing a wooden sword and shook his head when he heard this: "No, you can take that noisy little brat with you. We can just throw him into the mountains and we can all have some peace and quiet."
Chang Sui grumbled helplessly, "Big Brother, you're such a jokester! Junior Brother is just a little more lively, not too noisy. I'll go ask him if he wants to go with me."
After he said that, he picked up his things and ran out.
After the door was closed, Gu Xingyun put down his wooden sword and frowned, "Why haven't you appeared yet? Master, are you hiding because you can't act anymore?"
He thought that once those irrelevant people left, he could start practicing immediately.
"Since there's no news outside, he must still be here. Why not go look for him? Life without Master is pretty lonely."
Gu Xingyun stood up, tidied his clothes, and walked out.
Naturally, he has not been idle these days. He has been collecting various information and learned that the last place Yan Huailiu appeared was Canghai Pavilion.
Although Baili Changhuan had been there several times and had not found any trace of Yan Huailiu, he still wanted to go there again.
"Brother Xingyun, how come you have time to come here today?"
The young disciple in charge of guarding Canghai Pavilion greeted them warmly.
Gu Xingyun smiled gently: "I suddenly remembered Master's previous instructions and came here to find something."
"Oh, so, do you need help, brother?" the young disciple asked.
"No, I can find it myself." Gu Xingyun refused, looked around, and said casually, "It seems like there are a lot of extra things here. Did you help to fill them all?"
The young disciple rubbed his head sheepishly and said, "Yes, they were all brought by the Sect Master at that time. The table was full of space, so I put them in one by one according to the booklet, and then the Sect Master set up the barrier."
"Oh, by the way, the Sect Master suddenly went out for a while, and when he came back, he was very strange and looked very angry. He asked me to ask Uncle Baili to help repair this half of the barrier."
Gu Xingyun turned around curiously: "Oh? Really? Master went out again after coming back? Did you say where you were going?"
"Hmm... I don't know. I only know that the Sect Master went straight to the second floor. I was anxious to find Uncle Baili, so I didn't pay attention to him."
After the young disciple answered, someone came in and asked him to help check something.
Gu Xingyun said casually, "Go and do your own thing. Don't delay the important matter."
"Okay, then if you need help, brother, just give me a shout."
After the young disciple finished speaking, he quickly ran over there.
Gu Xingyun's gaze fell on an empty grid not far away. He stared at the words on the grid for a long time before slowly walking towards the second floor.
This is his second time coming to this place.
The last time was when Canghai Pavilion was open half a month ago. He brought outsiders in to borrow books and was fortunate enough to see the full view of the second floor.
In all these years in Yuxu Sect, Yan Huailiu had never allowed them to set foot in such a place.
After that rainstorm, everything changed.
Can a person's nature really change drastically?
He didn't really believe it.
There are simply too many flaws. He and Yan Huailiu have been together day and night for so many years, how could he not see the difference?
