Chapter 221 sentenced him to death.

"Which aspect are you referring to, brother?" Mo Qing blinked and asked mischievously.

Even though she knew exactly what her older brother was referring to, she still pretended to be clueless and asked him. Both her older brother and her own brother were the kind of refined and gentle noblemen who were usually indifferent and didn't care much.

The fact that he was able to give her repeated instructions clearly showed that he was worried about her and cared about her. Mo Qing knew all this, which is why she obediently returned to Lindu when her brother was about to send her out of the special forces brigade.

Mo Xinze knew that the girl was clever and mischievous, and he was afraid that her words had a hidden meaning. He looked at her calmly and composedly, without the embarrassment that Mo Qing had imagined. Instead, he said calmly, "No matter what aspect."

"Oh." Mo Qing's eyes flickered, and she nodded with a bright smile. "I understand."

He chuckled and gently brushed her forehead, his movements tender and his gaze indulgent. "I hope you really listen to me."

Mo Qing nodded vigorously, her voice soft and sweet, "Of course I'll listen."

"Would you like me to drive you to the party in a few days?"

"No need, I'll just take a taxi and go by myself." Mo Qing teased, her eyes gleaming with a hint of mockery. "If I dared to call you, my aunt might just call me over for tea."

She's already so grown up, yet everyone still pampers her like a child, treating her with utmost care, as if afraid of breaking her...

It really left her speechless!

"?" Mo Xinzhe tilted his head and looked at her, his eyes filled with confusion.

"Your marriage is the most important thing for your aunt right now. If I dare to delay your affairs, then I will truly become a sinner for all eternity!"

Mo Xinze, “…” Hu Ao.

Given how much his mother dotes on her, it's more likely that it's him.

Sigh, I really don't know who his mother's biological son is...

...

For the next two days, Mo Qing ate and slept, and spent her free time writing in her room. Since the end of the year was approaching, she would likely not have time to visit relatives, so she could only use this time to write more drafts.

Fortunately, she wasn't too bored during those two days. Hanhan's songs were playing on her computer, looping on repeat. Sometimes she could even hum along.

The white code indicates that in the afternoon, she would go out for a walk, which would mainly involve walking around in the yard. She is rather lazy and doesn't like to go too far.

Hanhan's songs are mostly characterized by her cool and detached voice, which is beautiful from beginning to end, yet she is also able to control the expression of emotions very well.

As she typed, she kept listening to his songs. The sound from her headphones was especially pleasant, and a faint smile unconsciously appeared on her lips. Her eyes crinkled, and she couldn't hide her joy.

She was indeed in a good mood these two days, after all, Ji Muhan replied to both of her messages, although they were short, always ending with just one or two words.

I texted him this morning, but I don't know if he's in training or not, because he hasn't replied yet. Actually, my brother called her last time, so he should be back in the next couple of days.

She was a little worried that if Hanhan was going on a mission, she was afraid that he would be too reckless and wouldn't consider his own safety.

Thinking of this, Mo Qing looked at her phone, but there was still no response. Hanhan still hadn't replied to the message, so she could only type. However, after typing for almost three hours, her eyes started to hurt slightly, so she rubbed her eyelids.

She rested her chin on her hand absentmindedly, gazing at the pale sunlight outside, her eyes unfocused, a vague melancholy in her heart.

She knew Ji Muhan was aloof, but she still couldn't help wanting to get closer to him. Sometimes she understood that if the two of them were together, she would have to make concessions.

Why…

After a moment of stunned silence, Mo Qing simply put down her phone to avoid worrying herself over it.

When I went down to the lobby on the first floor, I found my grandparents sitting there watching TV. I greeted them and then went out of the lobby and into the yard.

I grabbed a stool and sat there to bask in the sun. The winter sun always feels especially warm on the skin, unlike the glaring and scorching heat of summer.

After sitting for a while, Mo Qing simply stood up and stretched, walking back and forth in the yard. Her aunt had taken excellent care of the yard, especially the few pots of daisies in the right corner, which were particularly beautiful, as were the two longan trees, whose leaves had turned slightly yellow in this season and were scattered on the ground.

Scattered here and there, it has a somewhat desolate beauty.

Mo Qing is usually quite lazy, but she wouldn't be this lazy. However, she is completely unable to move now.

It was too cold to go outside, so she could only walk around inside. But after a short while, something slightly cool landed on her neck in the yard. The icy temperature was so cold it was chilling.

Mo Qing frowned, looked up with some suspicion, and saw snowflakes fluttering down. Although they weren't the biggest, they were still very beautiful.

Everyone in the Mo family knows that Mo Qing is extremely afraid of the cold, but she also loves snow, especially snow like now, standing in the yard waiting for the snowflakes to fall on her.

The snowflakes landed on her hand and melted from the warmth of her palm. Mo Qing was having a great time playing with them, like a child, her smile content, her dimples appearing and disappearing on either side of her mouth, her hair falling loosely behind her, swaying with her movements, her long black hair slipping down little by little.

Looking up at the sky, you can clearly see the curve from her forehead to her chin from the side. Her fair and delicate skin is enviable, and she is unbelievably beautiful even without makeup!
