It's not only quiet, but the air is also fresh, and it's surrounded by trees.
"Sister's back." Zhang Ma opened the door and smiled broadly as soon as she saw Mo Qing.
Mo Qing smiled at her, revealing her pretty, sweet dimples. Her well-behaved and sweet appearance almost melted Zhang Ma's heart. She asked, "Zhang Ma, where are my parents?"
"Madam and Master have gone on a trip." Zhang Ma replied, her eyes full of loving affection, her gaze fixed on Mo Qing's obedient appearance.
Upon hearing this, Mo Qing entered the room, then blinked and said, "My parents really have a lot of free time; they go out to play all the time."
Their precious daughter has been kidnapped, yet the two of them are still able to have a great time outside.
I don't know if it's because they have such a good relationship or because they're too easygoing.
"That's right, the husband and wife have such a good relationship. I've rarely seen a couple with such a good relationship!" Zhang Ma grinned. Every time she mentioned them, she couldn't help but sigh. Looking at the genuine smile on her face, you could tell that she wasn't thinking too much about it; she was just expressing her feelings.
Mo Qing shrugged noncommittally.
It has to be said, my parents' relationship has remained unchanged for over twenty years; they are incredibly close.
My mother is a pianist. Every year, she needs to travel all over the world for several months or be invited to play a performance. Perhaps my mother's piano skills are really too outstanding, because she was even rated as an international pianist, level 10.
However, she simply couldn't appreciate it, nor could she hear what made it sound good.
And my father is one of the top screenwriters in the country.
Many award-winning and highly-rated TV dramas were written by him.
In the past two years, my father has been furious about my brother joining the army without saying a word. He has rarely written scripts in the past two years and instead travels around the world with my mother.
Even she rarely gets to see the two of them.
They're as busy as national leaders; you have to make an appointment to see them, but most of the time it's just—
Queuing Zheng
"Aunt Zhang." Mo Yanyu came leisurely from behind, carrying Mo Qing's backpack in her hand, and called out calmly.
"Young Master is back." Zhang Ma was stunned for a moment, then her mouth dropped open in a wide grin. "It's good that you're back. Young Master, you've been on leave for a few days. I'll call the master and mistress right away and tell them the good news."
Mo Yanyu calmly entered the room without saying anything to stop her.
Mo Qing took her backpack back from him, put it on without saying a word, and planned to go back to school.
"Where to?" Mo Yanyu paused, his gaze lingering on her movements. He remained silent, letting her take her first step, before finally asking casually. His calm and collected demeanor, as if he held the world in his grasp, inspired awe in those who beheld him.
"Back to school, I have to go to class." Mo Qing smiled innocently, but her feet didn't stop, and she slowly made her way to the door.
Mo Yanyu gave a cool smile, offering no comment on her words. She strode over to her, grabbed her backpack, and lifted her onto the sofa, forcefully pressing her down to sit.
"I'll take you home this afternoon to pack your things."
Mo Qing, “…”
Why doesn't she just run faster?
In reality, she knew that no matter how fast she ran, she would ultimately not escape the same outcome.
That means they can't escape and will be caught and brought back.
Mo Yanyu glanced at her indifferently, then sat down, picked up a magazine from the coffee table, crossed her left leg over her right, and began to read it calmly.
Mo Qing puffed out her cheeks in anger and stood on the sofa.
“I’m not coming back to live here, brother. You’re such a dictator, it’s too much.”
Mo Yanyu calmly glanced at the fuming girl, still urging her on.
"Move aside, you're blocking the light."
Mo Qing frowned, and upon hearing this, jumped off the sofa, walked a few steps to him, and blocked his view completely, leaving him in complete darkness.
She stood there, like a child throwing a tantrum, glaring at Mo Yanyu with her eyes wide open.
Unfortunately, it had no power at all.
Mo Yanyu couldn't help but laugh out loud and beckoned to her, "Come here and sit down."
"No." She stood there stubbornly, her neck stiff.
Just because he tells her to go, does that mean she has to go? On what grounds?
Mo Yanyu wasn't annoyed; she just kept a lazy smile on her face and quietly watched him.
A moment later, Mo Qing, being particularly spineless, slowly moved over and awkwardly stood in front of him.
