Chapter 308: Diverting the Trouble
Lando looked at the talisman paper, and there was obviously a hint of fear in her eyes.
"Who gave you this thing?" Lando frowned.
Leia knew that Lando was afraid of the paper, and she felt relieved.
"Don't come over here!" Leah held the talisman tightly and pointed it at Lando.
Lando sneered, "Do you think this talisman can save your life? Even though I can't get close to you, I can still keep you company until this talisman loses its effect."
Leia was frightened by Lando and her whole body trembled, and the hand holding the talisman paper also began to tremble.
Thinking about Lando's purpose of occupying her body just now, Leia suddenly came up with an idea.
"You...you just want to find a body, right? I'm not Chinese, but I can find you a Chinese girl who's prettier and younger than me and more suitable for you."
"Are you really willing to help me?" Lando looked at Leah in disbelief.
Leah nodded: "Of course, as long as you stop pestering me, I'm willing to help you."
"You're right, I'm indeed not satisfied with your body. If you help me find a body that satisfies me, I will certainly not bother you anymore." Lando said with a smile.
"Then help me get out of here first." Leah said.
Lando curled her lips slightly: "The people who rescued you are here."
After saying that, Landuo returned to the bracelet.
Just as Leia breathed a sigh of relief, she discovered that the originally warm wooden house suddenly became dark, the candlelight went out, and the cold wind blew in.
The cabin was drafty, with no stove or hot water. What she had just seen was just an illusion.
"Is anyone there? Miss, where are you?"
The voices outside were getting closer and closer, and Leah quickly ran out of the dilapidated wooden house.
"Help! Help!"
Leah waved hurriedly.
The police heard the noise and rushed over.
"Miss, we finally found you. We are the police. Come with us!"
Leah looked at those living people and was so excited that she hugged the policeman directly.
"Thank you, thank you for finding me!"
The policeman was frightened by her enthusiasm and quickly pulled her off him.
"Miss, you should thank the driver. If he hadn't called the police, we wouldn't have known about it." The policeman pointed at the driver and said.
The driver looked at Leah helplessly and speechlessly: "Miss, I told you I'm not a bad person, but you still don't believe me. I even called the police for you. Now you should believe it!"
Leah was a little scared when she saw the driver.
"You're not a bad guy, why are you wearing a hat so late at night?"
The driver took off his hat wordlessly. His head was already bald.
"Look at the top of my head. I wear a hat because I'm cold!"
"Where's the fruit knife? There's blood on it!"
As she spoke, Leah also took out a fruit knife.
"Look more closely, is that blood? That's the juice I left when I peeled the dragon fruit and didn't wipe it off!"
Leia was stunned. She smelled the fruit knife and found that it indeed smelled of dragon fruit.
"You foreign girls are so timid! There are no bad drivers among our local drivers. I was kind enough to give you a shortcut, but you doubted me. Really!"
"Sir, I'm sorry. It's my fault. I'm sorry to bother you!" Leia apologized obediently.
"It's okay, as long as you are okay!" said the driver helplessly.
On the way back, Leah kept looking at the bracelet on her hand. She was wondering how to lure the ghost Lando to Chu Ruanruan.
During the day, Chu Runrun must have known the secret of the bracelet but didn't tell her. Although Chu Runrun gave her this talisman paper, Leah was still angry.
She also had to let Chu Ruanruan taste the feeling of being haunted by a ghost.
"Miss, where do you live?" asked the policeman.
Only then did Leah remember to call Jason. Lando didn't do anything and her phone was restored.
Jason called Leah more than twenty times.
Jason, who was worried at the hotel, immediately answered Leah's call.
"Leah, where have you been?" Jason asked hurriedly.
"Jason, I don't know the name of the hotel. I'm in the police car now." Leah choked up when she heard Jason's voice.
"I'm glad you're safe. The hotel is called the Lance Hotel. I'll meet you at the door."
"good!"
Soon, the police sent Leah back to the hotel.
As soon as she saw Jason, Leah immediately rushed over to him: "Jason, it's great that I can still see you!"
Seeing that Leah was crying, Jason stopped losing his temper and just patted her on the back gently.
"It's okay. It was my fault just now. I shouldn't have let you leave alone."
"I'm sorry, I won't lose my temper again!" Leah also apologized.
Jason took Leah back to the room. After taking a shower, Leah lay on the bed, still feeling that everything that had just happened was like a dream.
But the bracelet on her hand reminded her that everything that had just happened was real.
Tomorrow, she will go find Chu Runrun and Ning Xuan to get rid of the trouble with Lando as soon as possible.
Leah rested for a whole night, and the next morning she asked Jason to take him to Ning Xuan's company.
Ning Group's industries are spread all over the place, and the company's address is no secret. They can find out by just searching on the Internet.
Chu Runrun had just helped Ning Xuan prepare the materials for the meeting when she received a call from the front desk.
As soon as she heard that Leah and Jason were coming, Chu Ruanruan knew that the things in the bracelet had been taken away.
"Ruanruan, what's wrong?" Ning Xuan asked.
"It's nothing, brother, you go to the meeting first!" Chu Runrun handed the information to Ning Xuan.
"good!"
Ning Xuan walked into the conference room, and Chu Runrun went downstairs alone to meet Jason and Leah.
"Ms. Leah, is this bracelet comfortable to wear?" Chu Runrun asked with a smile.
Leah forced a smile and said, "It's very comfortable, but I don't think I should take Miss Chu's things. I'd better return this bracelet to Miss Chu!"
"It's only been one night, and you don't want to wear it anymore? Don't you want to experience it a little longer?" Chu Runrun said with a smile.
"No need, this kind of good thing should be left to Miss Chu!" Leah said with a smile.
Jason was confused as he listened: "Liya, didn't you like this bracelet very much? Why don't you want it anymore?"
"I don't like it now."
As Leia said this, she tried to take off the bracelet, but she couldn't get it off.
"Get down here! You agreed not to bother me anymore!" Leia gritted her teeth and whispered.
Lando's voice came: "I can't afford to offend this person, your body is more suitable."
"What? We agreed last night that you would take her body..."
Leah stopped talking before she even finished, as if she had said something she shouldn't have.
Chu Ruanruan squinted her eyes and looked at Leah: "What did you just say?"
"It's nothing, please help me take off this bracelet!" Leah said anxiously.
Chu Runrun couldn't help but sneer. She seemed to have guessed what Leah meant.
The ghost in the bracelet wanted to take over Leia's body, and Leia wanted to bring disaster to her, so she came to find her.
