I'm so hungry, I'd better go get something to eat.
When Bai Xiaoruo arrived at the dining table, the scene before her completely stunned her.
Oh my god, has this place been looted?
Isn't that a bit of an exaggeration?
The large pot of stewed soup was completely devoured, except for the bones that had been spat out and remained on the table. There were two small dishes, the soup and broth, and even the vegetable juices were all eaten clean.
Bai Xiaoruo rushed into the kitchen, opened the rice cooker, and was even more shocked.
Even the rice cooker is empty!
All the food inside is gone!
This is the rice I planned to make for dinner, and then I'll make fried rice again tomorrow morning. It's enough to make at least three big bowls.
It's empty, completely empty, all gone!
Has he gone without food for days and nights? His appetite is enormous!
I worked so hard to cook this meal, thinking I'd at least have some leftover rice, but I ended up feeding it all to that lunatic!
Bai Xiaoruo had no choice but to find a packet of instant noodles in the cupboard, slice some tomatoes, crack an egg, and cook it quickly before eating.
It was a simple but satisfying meal.
After tidying up the dishes and washing them, Bai Xiaoruo mopped the entire living room floor before going upstairs.
Upon entering the room, the first thing Bai Xiaoruo did was lock the door, and she used several locks, even barring the chairs behind it.
Still feeling unsafe, I closed and locked the French windows on the balcony and drew the curtains.
After confirming that everything was in perfect order, Bai Xiaoruo took her pajamas and went into the bathroom to take a shower.
I need to take a shower quickly to feel at ease, otherwise I don't know when that lunatic might barge in.

After taking a shower and washing my hair, I felt completely refreshed and comfortable.
After confirming that there was nothing wrong with the room, Bai Xiaoruo drew back the curtains of the French windows and opened the windows to let in some fresh air.
As soon as Bai Xiaoruo stepped onto the balcony, a soft, sticky black object suddenly landed on her arm from the right. When she looked down and saw what was on her arm, she was so frightened that she fell to the ground and screamed repeatedly.
"Ah! Spider! Go away, go away!" After finally shaking it off, I realized it was just a toy spider.
A familiar laugh came from the right, and Bai Xiaoruo immediately understood what was going on.
It's that lunatic Xuanxingze again!
She quickly stood up, straightened her clothes, and glared angrily at the right side of the balcony. What a coincidence! That guy happens to live in the next room! And so close at that!
Bai Xiaoruo was now filled with regret for arranging this particular room for him, when there were clearly many other rooms available on the second floor.
"Hahaha, your reaction just now was hilarious! Hahaha, little one, do you like the gift I gave you?"
"Like you my foot! What's so funny!" Bai Xiaoru glared at him fiercely, walked back to her room, closed the French windows, and went to sleep!
Clearly, this was just the beginning of a prank, and Xuanxingze didn't seem to have had enough fun yet.
Bai Xiaoruo picked up the toy spider from the ground and threw it into the trash can. She washed her hands, lay down on the bed, and decided to go to sleep early.
However, less than ten minutes of comfortable sleep was interrupted by the noise from the next room!
Xuan Xingze had somehow found a guitar and was playing it extremely loudly. Coupled with his tone-deaf, heart-wrenching singing, and the music on the stereo being turned up to the maximum, it felt like the whole building was about to collapse from the shock.
Bai Xiaoruo was woken up by fright, and no matter how much she plugged her ears, she couldn't stop hearing those terrible noises.
Even residents of nearby villas came to complain. Bai Xiaoru apologized repeatedly and bowed countless times before finally sending the residents away and ceasing to pursue the matter.
If you make any more noise, they won't be so polite!
Bai Xiaoruo walked to the door of Xuan Xingze's room and knocked several times before the person inside opened the door.
Xuan Xingze was only wearing shorts and shirtless. He seemed to have known all along that Bai Xiaoruo would come to see him. After opening the door, he leaned against the doorway with a mischievous smile on his lips, looking nonchalant. "What? Little one, you missed me? Do you feel too lonely sleeping alone and want to share a room with me, and maybe even share a bed?"
"You're shameless! Stop daydreaming!" Bai Xiaoru was both angry and annoyed by his words. This guy was always being a scoundrel with his words!
"It's nighttime now, everyone should be resting. You should go to sleep too, and stop making noise!"
"What's wrong with me wanting to sing or listen to music because I can't sleep?"
"Don't you have anything else to do besides singing and listening to music late at night?"
"Yes, but I can't do it by myself, I need your help."
"What?"
"I'm too lonely sleeping alone, little one, why don't you come and sleep with me? I promise I won't move around at night."
"You! You've gone too far!" Bai Xiaoruo's face flushed with anger. Not wanting to waste any more words with this lunatic, she turned around and went back to her room, quickly locking the door behind her.
After Bai Xiaoruo left in anger, Xuan Xingze was quite amused. The little one was so funny; she got so angry just from being teased.
Let's play again tomorrow, time for bed~
Bai Xiaoruo returned to her room, and after Xuan Xingze's antics, she was completely wide awake.
He's only been here a few hours, and he's already so annoying. Bai Xiaoruo really can't imagine how she'll get through tomorrow.
Tomorrow is the weekend, no school, but I don't know where to go. I really hope that Xianmingyu can come back tomorrow. It would be so nice if I could see him when I wake up.
