Hsien Ming-yu happened to pinch the spot where she had been kicked by the cow that morning.
The pain made Bai Xiaoruo gasp.
I didn't think it would be too serious, but I didn't expect it to still hurt so much after all this time.
I didn't dare tell him directly, but I tried my best to force a smile so he would know I was okay.
"It's okay, I don't need anything else. Let's check out and go shopping somewhere else."
Although Bai Xiaoruo didn't say it explicitly, Xuan Mingyu still noticed it.
Her shoulder appeared to be injured.
After leaving the jewelry store, Xuan Mingyu accompanied her to the mall and bought her a lot of clothes, as well as a large number of bags and hats. As long as Bai Xiaoruo said she didn't like something, Xuan Mingyu liked it; if she didn't want something, he would just have someone pack it up and pay for it.
All the clothes I bought were put into the trunk of the car, piled up to the brim.
After strolling through the entire commercial street, it was almost noon. Xuan Mingyu and Bai Xiaoruo returned to the car. He said he was going to take her to a very special restaurant, one that he used to love going to when he was in college, but hadn't been there for several years.
After driving for a while, Xuan Mingyu suddenly asked the driver in front to stop, whispered a few words to him, and the driver nodded and got out of the car first, leaving the two of them in the car.
Bai Xiaoruo was completely bewildered, not knowing what Xuan Mingyu had said to the driver. She looked out the window and saw that there were no restaurants or even snack shops nearby. Why had the car stopped on the side of the road?

The mysterious way they were acting only fueled Bai Xiaoruo's curiosity.
About ten minutes later, the driver returned to the car, carrying a white plastic bag, and handed it to Xuan Mingyu.
The plastic bag was filled with all sorts of medicines, as well as cotton swabs and cotton balls.
The annotations were all in English, and Bai Xiaoruo's English level was only so-so; she might not even understand some of the words.
Why buy so much medicine?
The driver pressed a button, and an opaque partition slowly descended between the back and front seats, completely separating the two sides of the vehicle.
After pressing that button, the driver slowly started the car and continued driving forward.
Xian Mingyu opened the plastic bag, looked at the medicine the driver had just bought, and without saying a word, told Bai Xiaoruo to take off her clothes.
Bai Xiaoruo, of course, refused. How could he never forget to be a pervert, no matter where he went? Her clothes were on perfectly fine, why would she take them off?
Although the partition prevented the driver in front from seeing what was happening in the back seat, Bai Xiaoruo still felt something was off.
"No way! Why do you always make people take their clothes off?"
"Just take your clothes off, I'm not going to eat you."
Bai Xiaoruo pouted. Who knows if he'll eat her alive? It's not like he hasn't done *that* before...
After hesitating for a few seconds, she obediently took off her coat.
That wasn't enough. Xian Mingyu made her take off more clothes. Bai Xiaoru turned her back to him and reluctantly took off her sweater. But that wasn't enough either. She had to take off her thermal underwear as well, leaving her with only a thin undershirt. If she took off any more, she would really have nothing left.
Even though the car had the heater on, it was still a bit cold after taking off so many clothes all at once.
She covered her chest with both hands, a little shy, "Is...is it okay? What do you want to do?"
"Turn around."
"you!"
That pervert! I knew he was up to no good!
"I, I... Can we go back? I don't want to be here." Her voice trembled slightly.
The car was still moving, and the windows were specially designed so that people outside couldn't see inside. There was also a barrier in front so the driver couldn't see behind either, but she still couldn't overcome her nervousness.
"Idiot, what are you thinking?" Xuan Mingyu wrapped his arms around her and turned her to face him.
He pried open her hands, which were tightly covering her chest and shoulders, and sure enough, as he had expected, her shoulders were indeed injured.
A large, conspicuous bruise was visible on her fair shoulder.
"What are you looking at! Don't look! Pervert!" He kept staring at her, making Bai Xiaoru feel extremely awkward. She reached out to cover his eyes, but he grabbed her hand. "Don't move."
Xuan Mingyu took out a bottle of medicine and a few cotton swabs from the plastic bag, unscrewed the bottle, moistened some medicine with the cotton swabs, and gently applied it to the injured area on Bai Xiaoruo's shoulder.
Following the direction in which he applied the medicine, Bai Xiaoruo noticed the injury on her shoulder.
This injury was probably from being kicked by that cow this morning. She hadn't taken it seriously at first, thinking it would heal on its own after a while, but she didn't expect it to be so serious.
The medicine he applied felt cool and had a faint, pleasant fragrance.
"You're always getting injured, how many more times do you want me to worry about you?"
"Huh? I...I didn't mean to..." Although his tone wasn't very nice, Bai Xiaoruo felt a warmth in her heart.
She knew that he was worried about her and cared about her.
"Tell me, where did you get this injury?" I didn't see the bruises here when I was sleeping last night, so I guess it was from this morning.
"I... I fell down myself," Bai Xiaoruo casually made up an excuse.
"Bai Xiaoruo, has anyone ever told you that the way you lie makes you look like an idiot?"
"you!"
