A few minutes later, Bai Xiaoruo, her face flushed, leaned against Xian Mingyu's chest, panting as if most of the air in her body had been sucked out.
"Idiot, you still can't breathe after all these kisses."
His large hand gently stroked her back, and each time he kissed her for only a short while, her face would turn red.

This terrified Xian Mingyu. She was only two months pregnant. Could it be that he had upset her and caused a miscarriage?

He immediately told the driver in the front seat to turn around and head towards the hospital.

Bai Xiaoruo was just saying it casually, but Xian Mingyu took it seriously and hugged the person in his arms tighter.
He was genuinely afraid.
"You heartless woman, how could you bear to part with me?"
"Of course I'm willing to give it up. What's there to be unwilling about?"
"No, you can't leave me. No matter where you go, I will find you and bring you back."
Seeing how nervous he was, Bai Xiaoruo chuckled. She was just saying it casually, but he was so scared.
She was nothing like the Xian Mingyu who used to have a dark face all the time, exuded a cold aura, and was always cold to her whenever they met.
"Okay, I was just kidding. I won't leave you, and neither will the baby. The three of us will always be together."
Hearing Bai Xiaoruo say this, Xian Mingyu finally breathed a sigh of relief. He would definitely keep a closer eye on her from now on and never let her have any thoughts of leaving him again.
