[Yes, when I went upstairs to wake her up today, she was gone. Her suitcase was gone too. She left a note on the table saying thank you for taking care of her these past few days, and that she had taken a plane back to L City by herself.] Fang Peiru held the note left by Bai Xiaoru in her hand. How could a pregnant woman like her run around like that? If she wanted to go back, she could have just told them and sent someone to take her. Why did she have to sneak back by herself?
Upon discovering that Bai Xiaoruo was missing, Fang Peiru immediately called Xuan Mingyu to ask if Bai Xiaoruo had returned to his side.
If anything goes wrong, they won't be able to explain it to Hsien Ming-yu.
"Mom, can you have someone at the airport check the entry and exit passenger list to confirm whether she boarded the plane? I'll take some people to the airport to check right now."
Okay, don't worry, I'll let you know as soon as I have any news.
Xuan Mingyu hung up the phone, his brows furrowed.
This is going to be a problem.
I didn't want her to come back at this time, but she still sneaked back anyway.

Bai Xiaoruo's faint voice had little effect whatsoever. To the paparazzi, it was nothing more than a ploy to gain attention by feigning helplessness. Cameras, cell phones, and video cameras were all pointed at her, the flashes so bright they almost blinded her. Bai Xiaoruo kept dodging, but she couldn't stop them from getting closer and closer.
Having finally caught her, we certainly couldn't let such big news slip by.
They would never leave unless they thoroughly tormented Bai Xiaoruo.
"Get out of the way! What are you doing! We've already called the police, get out of the way right now!"
At this moment, several men in black suits cleared a path, pushing aside the large group of paparazzi who were surrounding Bai Xiaoruo.
Upon hearing that the police had been called, the mastermind behind it all immediately notified the paparazzi to leave quickly. One of the paparazzi, unwilling to give up, forcefully bumped Bai Xiaoruo with his camera, causing her to lose her balance and stumble.
She almost fell backward, but a pair of large, fair hands caught her from behind.
Bai Xiaoruo breathed a small sigh of relief and carefully covered her belly with her hand. The baby must be alright.
Are you alright?
A strange, magnetic male voice sounded above her head. Bai Xiaoruo was stunned for a moment, then turned around and realized that the person supporting her was a man wearing sunglasses.
Sunglasses covered most of his face. He was wearing a suit, a wicked smile playing on his lips, and his skin appeared very white in the sunlight.
Bai Xiaoruo took two steps back and bowed to him gratefully, "Sir, thank you for saving me."
All the paparazzi who had been surrounding her had vanished, and Bai Xiaoruo was finally out of trouble.
"It was nothing. Be more careful when you go out in the future, and it's best to bring a few bodyguards or your family. Although I don't know who you are, those people just now seemed to have a premeditated purpose. It's not always so easy to deal with them."
Bai Xiaoruo nodded, remembering his words. "I understand, thank you so much."
Although she didn't know where those people came from, she had just gotten off the plane and encountered something like this. It seemed she really needed to be more careful in the future.
The man smiled at her. "My lovely lady, see you again someday."
With that, the man and the other men in black suits got into the car and left, leaving Bai Xiaoru standing there in a daze.
She touched her slightly protruding belly with her hand. Thank goodness, the baby wasn't hurt.
Fortunately, I met that kind person earlier, otherwise I definitely wouldn't have been able to leave today.
"Ruo'er!"
At the same time, Xian Mingyu had already arrived with his bodyguards.
Upon seeing Xian Mingyu, all the grievances she had just suffered welled up inside her; he had finally arrived.

With a worried expression, Xian Mingyu pulled her into his arms. Thankfully, he had finally found her.

"Didn't I tell you I'd come pick you up in a few days? Why are you so disobedient?" he scolded playfully.
He was really angry and worried about her. What would he do if something happened to her and the baby?
Bai Xiaoru pouted, feeling somewhat distressed. Why couldn't she come back on her own? How could she have known she would encounter something like that?
"If you don't want to see me, I'll leave. I won't get in your way."
She pushed him away and turned to run back into the airport.
"You come back here!" Xuan Mingyu easily grabbed her arm and pulled her back into his arms. "You're back now, where do you think you're going? When did I say you were in my way?"
