"What a joke! When have I ever needed your pity? You've been in the Xian family for so long, hasn't Xian Mingyu given you a single penny?" Bai Minglei threw the bank card on the table into the trash can.
He doesn't need this kind of relief!
If she had even a shred of conscience, she would have asked Xian Mingyu for a few thousand or a few million more. Bai Minglei didn't even consider this amount of money a threat.

She raised her foot and kicked Bai Xiaoruo hard in the shin, then stopped grabbing Bai Xiaoruo's hair and instead gripped Bai Xiaoruo's neck tightly, yelling, "I'll kill you! I'll kill you!"
"Cough! Cough! Let go, let go..." Bai Xiaoruo's face turned purple from being choked, and she could hardly breathe.
In a moment of desperation, Ji Ziqian disregarded everything else, grabbed an ashtray from the table, and smashed it heavily against the back of Bai Xiaofu's head.
Bai Xiaofu fell to the ground with a thud, and Bai Xiaoruo was finally saved.
"Oh dear! Xiao Fu! Xiao Fu! My precious daughter, how are you?" Song Meiyan rushed over to support Bai Xiao Fu, and touched the back of her head, where blood was already flowing freely. "Oh dear, why is there so much blood? Xiao Fu, don't scare your mother..."
After the commotion, Bai Xiaoruo was in bad shape and could barely stand. Fortunately, Ji Ziqian supported her. "Xiaoruo, are you alright?"
"It's okay... I'm fine..." She shook her head and gently touched her neck. It hurt so much; the feeling of almost suffocating just now still made it hard for her to breathe.
"Ziqian, what are you doing! Xiaofu has done nothing to you. If anything happens to my precious daughter, your Ji family will be held responsible!" Bai Minglei suddenly became the angry father, his expression changing far too quickly.
“I will cover all her medical expenses; there’s no need to drag the entire Ji family into it. Uncle, this is the last time I’ll call you that, and the last time I’ll appear here. I never imagined that your family could be so despicable! It was clearly Bai Xiaofu who hurt her first. You can’t even control your own daughter.
