Ji Ziqian carried Bai Xiaoruo outside before putting her down.
He looked at her with concern: "Xiao Ruo, are you alright? Are you okay?"
Bai Xiaofu is a complete madwoman. If I hadn't knocked her unconscious just now, who knows how badly Xiaoruo would have been bullied by her, and I couldn't even pull her away.
"Brother Ziqian, I'm fine..." Bai Xiaoruo calmed down a bit, feeling much better as soon as she came out. "Please take me home. I'm so sorry to have troubled you today."

After having lunch at the restaurant, Ji Ziqian went to the pharmacy to buy some ointment to reduce swelling and bruising for Bai Xiaoruo before sending her home.
Bai Xiaoruo only asked Ji Ziqian to take her to the intersection this morning, and then asked to get out of the car and walk back.
Ji Ziqian handed her a bag of ointment he had bought, saying, "Xiao Ruo, you must apply the ointment on time, and call me when you get home."
"Okay, I will." Bai Xiaoruo took the bag, opened the car door, and got out of the car.
After watching Ji Ziqian start the car and leave, Bai Xiaoruo limped back to the new courtyard.
Previously at the Bai family, Bai Xiaoruo's calf was kicked hard by Bai Xiaofu several times, causing her great pain. However, she was afraid that Ji Ziqian would find out and worry, so she endured the pain for so long.

It was already 2:30 pm when we got back to the new campus.
Upon entering the house, Bai Xiaoruo went straight upstairs to her room, took off her coat, changed into a nightgown, and finally noticed the bruises on her calves.
It looks quite serious; there are bruises all over the body, and it's a bit swollen.
She brought a mirror and looked at herself, only to find several red marks on her neck, probably from Bai Xiaofu's long, thin fingernails.
Bai Xiaoruo squeezed some ointment onto a cotton swab, looked in the mirror, and gently applied it to the wound on her neck.
It seems these wounds won't heal anytime soon, so I need to find a way to cover them up. Hopefully, Xian Mingyu won't find them, otherwise he'll definitely be very angry.
If she were to take her anger out on the Bai family again... then she would truly become a sinner.
After applying the ointment to her neck, Bai Xiaoruo squeezed out some more and began applying it to the bruises on her calves.
Just then, the door to the room was suddenly opened from the outside. Bai Xiaoruo was so frightened by the noise that she stuffed all the ointments into the quilt and hurriedly stood up.
"What's wrong? What are you hiding?"
The person standing at the door was Hsien Ming-yu.
Bai Xiaoruo was extremely nervous.
What time is it? Why would he come back at this hour?
"No, it's nothing."
"You went to buy junk food again?" Xian Mingyu closed the door and approached her.
There was an important document that I forgot to bring when I left home this morning. I originally wanted to call Bai Xiaoruo to bring it over, but I thought that she was pregnant and it would be too tiring for her to come all this way. Plus, it was already afternoon, and she might have already taken a nap, so I didn't want to wake her up. I decided to come back and get it myself.
After retrieving the documents from the study, before returning to the company, Xuan Mingyu thought of checking on her in her room to see if she was really asleep or if she had kicked off the covers again.
"I didn't..." Bai Xiaoru turned her face away guiltily, but Xuan Mingyu immediately noticed the red marks on her neck.
"What happened? Who did this?" He pulled Bai Xiaoruo over and carefully examined the conspicuous red marks on her neck. He knew she didn't like to keep her nails long, so it couldn't have been her doing this herself, especially with so many marks.
When he left this morning, her neck was still fair and smooth. How could it have been just a few hours? Did she sneak out to play again?
"Did you go out today?" His voice held a hint of anger.
"What? I've been very well-behaved at home..." Bai Xiaoruo tried to evade the question, quickly covering her neck with her hands.
He suddenly walked in, and she didn't even have time to grab a scarf to cover the red marks on her neck.
He still found out.
"Bai Xiaoruo, do you think I'm stupid? How could you be like this at home? Who did this?!" Xuan Mingyu felt heartbroken seeing her neck injured like this, and this girl still wouldn't tell him the truth.
"What do you mean, who did it? I scratched myself." Bai Xiaoru made up a lame excuse.
"I'd be a fool to believe you! If you don't tell the truth, I'll..."
Before Xian Mingyu could finish speaking, Bai Xiaoruo suddenly stood on tiptoe and pressed her lips to his mouth.
He swallowed back all the words he hadn't yet uttered.
This was the first time she had ever kissed him in this way.
She closed her eyes, wrapped her arms around his neck, and mimicked how Xian Mingyu usually kissed her, kissing him tenderly and slowly, her soft tongue tentatively touching his lips.
This idiot, is she testing his endurance?
Xuan Mingyu pulled the person in front of him into his arms, turning her initiative into a domineering and deep kiss. Afraid that she would get tired from standing on tiptoe for too long, he simply picked her up and put her on the bed.
With his hands on either side of her body, he looked down at Bai Xiaoruo, who was panting slightly in his arms, and gave her a long kiss. She almost forgot to breathe again.
"Idiot, I've kissed you so many times, and you still can't learn."
"Hmph, do you think I'm as battle-hardened as you?"
