As soon as Xian Mingyu came out of the bathroom, Bai Xiaoruo pulled him to sit on the bed.
"Come here, let me give you a massage."
"massage?"
What is she up to now?
“Yes, you’re so busy with work and work so hard every day, you must have a sore back.” As she spoke, Bai Xiaoruo took off her slippers, knelt down behind Xuan Mingyu, and began to massage his shoulders and back with her fair hands.

"Heavier."
She increased the pressure, "How about this?"

He took Bai Xiaoruo's hand, turned around and pulled her into his arms, "Wife."
"Huh?" Bai Xiaoruo looked at him blankly.
"I'll go with you to your prenatal checkup tomorrow. If the doctor says the baby is completely stable and we can do some activities, I'll take you out to play."
Bai Xiaoruo was overjoyed by Xian Mingyu's words. Was he finally going to go out with her? Where would they go? Would they take a plane or a car? These were all questions she was concerned about.
"Really? You can't go back on your word."
"Hmm, night or day?"
"Are you silly? Who goes for a prenatal checkup at night? Of course, it's in the morning. It's settled then. Let's go to sleep quickly, and when we wake up, it'll be tomorrow." Bai Xiaoru excitedly pulled the blanket over her head and lay down. She was going crazy from being cooped up at home every day. Finally, she could go out and play. Just thinking about it made her so happy.
Although she's been quite tormented by the little one in her belly these past few days, Bai Xiaoruo can feel that he's healthy and lively. He must be feeling too bored at home, which is why he's always moving around.
Xuan Mingyu looked at Bai Xiaoruo, who had buried half of her face in the blanket.
She was just busy massaging him, and now she's asleep?
"Aren't you going to give me a massage?"
"What are you massaging? You've never massaged me before. Go to sleep, I'm sleepy."
Wow, this girl's face changes really fast.
As soon as they heard they could go out and play, they got so excited that they just wanted to sleep.

It was 3 a.m. at night.
Bai Xiaoruo's leg cramped up again while she was sleeping.
It hurts so much that I can't sleep at all.
She shifted around and hummed, waking up Xuan Mingyu beside her.
She kept snuggling into his arms, wanting to kick, but she didn't have the strength.
Bai Xiaoruo burst into tears, feeling distressed and unsure of what to say.
His bathrobe was soaked with her tears, and he fumbled for the lamp to turn it on.
"What's wrong?"
"My leg cramped up," she sobbed, clinging to him tightly.
She's been getting cramps a lot these past few nights. Sometimes, Xuan Mingyu is so sound asleep that he doesn't even notice her movements. Tonight, the pain was so bad that Bai Xiaoruo woke him up.
"Shall I rub it for you?"
"Um."
Xuan Mingyu felt around in bed, gently massaging Bai Xiaoruo's legs. "Is it here?"
"Okay, be gentle."
With his help massaging her calves, they felt much better and weren't in so much pain anymore, so Bai Xiaoruo was finally able to sleep well.
She leaned against Xian Mingyu's chest and fell asleep in no time.
Looking down, he found that the person in his arms was already fast asleep. He carefully placed her head on the pillow, removed her hand that was tightly gripping his robe, and put her under the covers.
She fell asleep, and he could finally get a good night's sleep.

The next morning.
Prenatal checkups require fasting, so only Xuan Mingyu could eat breakfast, and Bai Xiaoruo obediently sat on the side waiting.
After he finished eating, she came downstairs to change her clothes.
Hsien Ming-yu had promised her that if everything was fine after her prenatal checkup today, he would take her out to play, and she could go wherever she wanted.
"Alright, alright, let's hurry up and go out." She was already impatient and pulled Xian Mingyu's arm to walk outside.
Just as he was about to get on the bus, Hsien Ming-yu suddenly received a phone call.
Bai Xiaoruo inadvertently glanced at the name on the caller ID; it was Su Yuluo.
She was somewhat unsettled, but she didn't want to show it directly.
"You answer the phone first, I'll wait for you." She smiled wryly, released Xian Mingyu's arm, and moved away a little.
She didn't want him to think that she was such a petty person that she would even eavesdrop on his phone calls.
The phone kept ringing, and since rejecting it wasn't an option, Hsien Ming-yu had no choice but to press the call button.
Before he could speak, Su Yuluo on the other end of the phone suddenly screamed: "[Yu! Help me! Help me quickly! I've been kidnapped! Come and save me!]"
"What? Kidnapping?"
What's going on? Why kidnap her? Xian Mingyu was completely confused.

"Hello? Luo'er?" The call had already been abruptly ended, and Xuan Mingyu hadn't had a chance to ask her for more details.
