The entire room was filled with a somber, oppressive atmosphere.
Before Xian Mingyu spoke, no one dared to utter a single word.
Today's meeting started two hours earlier than usual, and we had to be in the meeting room on time, which made many people feel a bit unmotivated.
This was the first time that Xuan Mingyu had made an exception and allowed Lu Xinyao to attend a meeting together. The focus of the meeting was on the new product launched by Qingxian's arch-rival, Guangshi, at a press conference a few days ago, which had many similarities to their upcoming product.

Lu Xinyao put down her powder compact with a wronged expression. "I said? How am I supposed to explain this? I didn't create the project proposal, and I wasn't involved in it either. What does this have to do with me?"
People around them started whispering. This Lu Xinyao was far too arrogant. Did she really think Qingxian was one of their Hongsheng? This was a meeting, not a game of pretend. What kind of attitude was this?
"Director Lu, I never said this matter was related to you. Are you already eager to admit it?"
"You!" Xuan Mingyu's words left Lu Xinyao speechless for a moment. She clearly didn't mean that, but he turned the tables on her. She looked around and stood up. "Of course I won't admit to something I didn't do. However, I do know who did it."

Lu Xinyao took out a small USB drive from her bag, walked to Xuan Mingyu's side, and in front of him, plugged the USB drive directly into the laptop, opened it, and found a video inside.
Although the video hasn't started playing yet, it's clear that the background is in Xuan Mingyu's office, and the person with their back to the camera is Bai Xiaoruo.

"Alright, President, and everyone here, please look at the big screen—"
Lu Xinyao immediately clicked to play the video, which was a surveillance recording. It happened to capture Bai Xiaoru holding a folder in her hand, but because she was facing away from the camera, only a small part of the folder was visible, and it was unclear what she was doing with it.
The video ended in less than ten seconds.
Throughout the entire process, Bai Xiaoruo was always facing away from the surveillance camera.
What happened next was clearer to Xian Mingyu than anyone else; it was just as he was about to go in to get that folder for the meeting room.
Because of the news that has been circulating for the past few days, everyone present knows that Bai Xiaoruo in the video is Xian Mingyu's wife.
However... it's not very convincing to conclude that Bai Xiaoru stole the project proposal and gave it to Guangshi based solely on those few seconds of her back as she held the folder.
She's already a powerful CEO's wife, wielding both power and wealth, and Xuan Mingyu cherishes her dearly. Is it really necessary for her to do something like this?
"Director Lu, it's a bit far-fetched to try and frame my wife based on such a short and incomplete video. Besides, how did a mere design director like you get access to the surveillance footage in my office? Could it be... that your abilities are even greater than mine?" Xuan Mingyu squinted at Lu Xinyao in front of him.
