Hearing the familiar voice behind her, Bai Xiaoruo turned around and saw that Xian Mingyu was fine, leaning against the French window.
Bai Xiaoruo quickly walked up to him, touched his arm and then his leg, and looked at his face. There wasn't a single scratch on him.
That's strange, she clearly saw him jump down himself.

"What's there to misunderstand? You've always been my wife." Xuan Mingyu stood still, refusing to budge an inch no matter how much Bai Xiaoruo pushed him.

His hands, hanging by his sides, tightened little by little until they clenched into fists. He suppressed his impending outburst of anger. "Who is that man?"
"What does this have to do with you? Why should I tell you?" That was just a lie she blurted out to get rid of him, and Bai Xiaoru didn't know how to cover it up for a moment.

Just then, there was a knock on the door.
