"The person my uncle likes is different from the person he likes Youyou."
"Hmm, I don't understand, it's so profound." Little Youyou scratched her head, very curious.
“You’re still too young, you wouldn’t understand even if I explained it to you. Okay, Uncle will take you home now.” Xuan Mingyu picked up Xiaoyouyou from the sofa and carried her little schoolbag in his hand as well.
"Uncle, do I really have to go home?" Little Youyou clung to Xian Mingyu reluctantly. She had only spent a short time with her uncle and now she had to part ways with him. She was so reluctant to leave him.
"Yes, your parents will worry if you don't go home."
"Then... will I be able to see Uncle tomorrow?"
"It might not be possible tomorrow. My uncle will be going home after he finishes his work here."
"Go home? Isn't this Uncle's house?" Little Youyou asked in surprise. There were rooms and a kitchen. Wasn't this big place Uncle's house?
"No, my uncle's home is in a very far place; you have to take a plane to get there."
Little Youyou pouted, "When can I see Uncle again? Can I go play with Uncle?"
"Uncle will come here again when he has time. If you get your parents' permission, you can also go to L City with your parents to see Uncle. Uncle will take you to many fun places."
"Really? Then wait for me, Uncle. I'll tell my mom and dad when I get back." The little guy hugged Xian Mingyu's neck tightly. "I really want to live with you, Uncle. I don't want to leave you."
Hsien Ming-yu looked down at the little guy in his arms.
Yes, how could he not want to leave her?
I don't know why, but every time I'm with this little guy, I feel inexplicably happy and I don't feel any aversion at all.
He wouldn't get annoyed by her crying or clinging to him; instead, he would want to get closer to her.
This was a feeling he had never experienced before; this little guy was the only child he didn't dislike.
Perhaps this is their destiny, or perhaps it's just that this little guy is so lovable that he can't bear to part with him.
......
Hsien Ming-yu took Xiao Youyou to a children's clothing store, bought her several clean new outfits, and finally sent her home according to the address the little one gave him.
He had just gotten out of the car with the little one in his arms when an angry man walked over and grabbed Xian Mingyu by the collar, yelling, "What did you do to my daughter! Where did you take her!"
Xuan Mingyu looked at the excited man in front of him. This man gave him a sense of déjà vu, but he couldn't remember where he had seen him before.
It seems he is the little guy's father.
The father and daughter don't look alike at all; it seems the little one resembles her mother more.
The little guy burst into tears when he saw his father treating his uncle so rudely.
But she clung tightly to Xian Mingyu, refusing to let go, "Waaah... Daddy, don't hit Uncle... don't hit... waaaah..."
Xuan Mingyu held the girl in his arms tighter and gently comforted her, "It's okay, Uncle is okay."
The man in front of him looked fierce and menacing. When Xuan Mingyu thought about how the little girl had cried and held up her swollen little arm that had been scratched in the hotel, he realized that such a young child had already learned to run away from home, which must have a lot to do with her parents.
Although he had no relation to this little one, he would never allow anyone to harm her.
Hsien Mingyu snapped, pulling away Guangxi's hand that was gripping his collar. "If she really is your daughter, then treat her well! Don't mistreat her!"
Guangxi roughly snatched Xiaoyouyou back from Xianmingyu's arms. Xiaoyouyou cried even louder and reached out for Xianmingyu to hold her, but Guangxi covered her mouth instead, not allowing her to cry, "My daughter, you don't need to worry about her!"
"Hmph! That's for the best!" Xuan Mingyu looked at Xiao Youyou, who was being held tightly in Guangxi's arms, with heartache. If this were his daughter, he wouldn't have let this man treat her like this.
The little guy cried until his voice was hoarse, but Hsien Ming-yu was powerless to help.
This is their family matter, and he, as an outsider, has no right to interfere.
Xuan Mingyu handed Guangxi the several new outfits he had just bought for Xiao Youyou, saying, "These are for her..."
With a sudden burst of strength, Guangxi threw the bag of clothes that Xian Mingyu had handed her onto the ground and stomped on it hard. "Let me tell you! My family has plenty of money, we don't need these tattered clothes you gave us! You'd better get as far away as possible, and if I ever see you with my daughter again, I'll kill you!"
Isn't this man a bit too irritable and unreasonable?
What did he do to his daughter?
My good intentions were met with ingratitude.
With a father like that, even Hsien Ming-yu feels sorry for the little guy.
Fine, let's just say he's meddling. If they can take good care of Xiaoyouyou, he won't want to get involved!
He took one last look at little Youyou, who was crying pitifully but couldn't make a sound. "Youyou, Uncle is leaving. From now on, you have to be a good girl and listen to your mom and dad. Don't run around alone anymore, okay?"
"Waaah... Uncle... Uncle..." The little girl had cried until she had no tears left. Xuan Mingyu really couldn't bear it. If he looked at her a few more times, he really wouldn't be able to resist softening his heart and taking her away.
But Youyou is not an object; she is a living, breathing child with her own parents, and he can do nothing for her.
Xuan Mingyu hardened his heart, turned around, got into the car, and quickly drove away.
"uncle!"
The little guy screamed his heart out, "Uncle's gone! Dad's driven him away! Uncle's never coming back!"
