"Knock knock knock—"
A crisp knock came from outside the door.
"Mingyu, Xiaoruo, are you two asleep?"
It was Fang Peiru's voice.
Bai Xiaoruo nudged Xian Mingyu, urging him to let her go quickly, as it wouldn't be good if her mother saw them.
After all, it's not just the two of them living in the house.
"Mom, we're not asleep yet, come in." Bai Xiaoru straightened her clothes, which he had messed up earlier.
Fang Peiru walked in carrying Xiaodian.
“Xiao Ruo, I brought Diandian with you. I think it would be better if you left him to take care of. The little guy always cries when he’s with me and Mingyu’s dad. I guess he misses his mom too much.”
"Okay, I understand." Bai Xiaoruo quickly put on her slippers, got out of bed, and took the little doll from Fang Peiru's hand.
The little guy blinked his round, black eyes at her, then grinned, looking incredibly cute.
In just over ten days, this little guy will officially be three months old. When he was first born, you couldn't see anything special about him, but as he grew, his little dot became more and more beautiful.
Dian Dian looks a lot like Xian Mingyu, like a miniature version of him. Of course, she also looks a bit like Youyou when she was little.
After all, they are siblings, and both are adorable and good-looking.
Everyone who has seen Xiaodian says that when he grows up, he will definitely be a handsome guy who can charm countless girls.
Their room is equipped with a baby cradle and a crib, and at home, Little Dot sleeps with them.
After Fang Peiru left, only the three of them remained in the room.

I only had a couple of days to spend alone with her in Japan, but as soon as I got home, her heart was completely focused on our little one again.
When Xiaoyouyou comes home from kindergarten in the evening, Bai Xiaoruo will have to take care of her so that she doesn't feel that her parents don't love her anymore after they have a younger brother.
Bai Xiaoruo pinched the diaper on Xiaodian's body and said, "Oh dear, I think I peed. Honey, go get me a diaper."
"How am I supposed to know where you put his diapers?"
"I almost forgot! We still need to unpack the batch that was airlifted back." Bai Xiaoru put the little one in her arms on the bed, told Xian Mingyu to look after him for a while, and went downstairs to unpack the diapers.

He didn't know how to hold a baby or how to make him laugh.

He gently poked his face with his hand, and Little Dot smiled again.
Her soft little hand grabbed Xian Mingyu's fingers haphazardly, trying to put them in her mouth.
He doesn't look like a normal two-month-old baby at all! He has so many expressions and movements, he's incredibly lively.
"Idiot, are you that hungry? You'd even want to gnaw on your dad's fingers."
As if the little guy understood what he was saying, his little mouth twitched and he was about to cry. Xian Mingyu quickly comforted him, "Okay, okay, I won't say anything to you anymore. Daddy was wrong. You're not stupid."
This little guy is Bai Xiaoruo's darling now, the little emperor of their whole family. If they make him cry, Xuan Mingyu might really have to sleep on the sofa tonight.
The little guy seemed to understand what he was saying, and grinned.
Xuan Mingyu was really at his wits' end. This little brat was already bullying him. If he lived a few more years, wouldn't this brat become even more arrogant?
“Come on, son, say ‘Dad,’ Dad, Dad.” He taught him to say it word by word.
How could the little guy talk so fast? He opened his mouth, perhaps wanting to learn to speak, but after a few smacking sounds, he couldn't say anything.
"Say it, hurry up and call me Daddy, and if you do, Daddy will take you to buy something delicious."
The little guy wouldn't say anything, and Xian Mingyu was getting anxious. Were those two words really that hard to pronounce?
At this moment, Bai Xiaoruo walked in from outside the room with several packs of diapers. She was both amused and exasperated to hear Xian Mingyu insisting that Xiaodian call him "Dad."
"Dian Dian is still so young, how could she possibly call you Dad? Youyou is calling you Dad all the time, so we just need to be patient and wait a few more months before Dian Dian starts talking."
"Will it take that long?"
Bai Xiaoru rolled her eyes at him, hands on her hips, "Do you think I gave birth to Nezha? That he could fly to the heavens right after he was born? There's still so much for Dian Dian to learn." Let alone recognizing characters, the most basic things like rolling over, talking, and learning to walk all require patient, step-by-step teaching.
"In short, don't teach him any nonsense. I'll teach him some basic vocabulary. I don't want you to lead him astray."
Bai Xiaoruo sat by the bed, unbuttoned Xiaodian's onesie, and was about to change his diaper.
“How could I have led him astray? He is my son, of course I will teach him to be good.”
