"Are you so happy to see me that you're speechless?"
He raised his hand to touch Bai Xiaoruo's face, but instinctively, she grabbed the small blanket covering her and pulled it up higher. Feeling something was wrong, she covered her thighs with the blanket, but it didn't seem to help.
Bai Xiaoruo simply shifted her position, keeping her distance from him.
"You, what are you doing here?"
"This is my room, my bed, why can't I be here?"
Xuan Mingyu, on the contrary, looked at Bai Xiaoruo with an expression that said, "This is normal."
Is this little girl really that afraid of him?
He was already this scared before he even touched her.
Bai Xiaoruo didn't know what to say for a moment. The two of them rarely had time alone like this, unlike those loving young couples who would hug and kiss as soon as they met, thinking about each other so much.

Bai Xiaoruo obediently listened, lifted the small blanket on her body, put on the slippers by the bed, and went into the bathroom to run a bath for Xuan Mingyu.

"This is my home. Is it illegal for me to take off my clothes here?"
"I, I didn't say you broke the law, but, but, you should also consider my feelings. You could, you could tell me in advance that you were going to take off your clothes, and I would leave immediately."
Bai Xiaoruo was so nervous that she stammered, and she covered her eyes tightly, afraid to look back, lest she see something unclean and get a sty.

However, teasing her and seeing her nervous little face is quite amusing.

"You can turn around now, I've put my clothes on."

Xuan Mingyu was immediately amused by Bai Xiaoruo's timid appearance. This was the first time he had smiled in front of her. "Heh, who told you that looking at a man with his shirt off will give you a sty? I haven't even taken my pants off yet."
Bai Xiaoruo thought about it and felt that what Xuan Mingyu said made sense. She angrily put her hand down, turned her face away, and said, "Hmph! You're so mean!"
"That's because you're clumsy. I didn't tell you to cover your eyes." It's quite fun to tease her like that sometimes.
Marrying this girl, it seems she's not so annoying after all.
Bai Xiaoruo then noticed that he was actually smiling.
This was the first time she had seen him smile, and he looked even better than when he usually had a stern face and was fierce towards her.
Xuan Mingyu usually has a stern face and always seems too mature. He's serious and serious all the time. But when he smiles, he's like a sunny young man, so dazzling and handsome.
Upon noticing Bai Xiaoru staring at him blankly, Xuan Mingyu quickly wiped the smile off his face and put on a stern expression again. "You silly girl, your drool is practically dripping onto the ground."

By the time Bai Xiaoruo realized what was happening, Xuan Mingyu had already gone into the bathroom.
She yawned, stretched, and sighed. "Ugh, I'm so sleepy. I only slept for a short while before he woke me up."
Never mind him, I'm going back to sleep.

When Xuan Mingyu came out of the bathroom after taking a shower, Bai Xiaoruo had already covered herself with her blanket again and was curled up in bed, fast asleep.
He walked to the bedside and lay down to Bai Xiaoruo's right. He was exhausted after a long day and was already sleepy.
Something felt off, and then I realized he didn't have a blanket.
I really don't feel comfortable without something covering me.
Apart from the small blanket covering Bai Xiaoruo, there wasn't a single quilt on the bed.
Xuan Mingyu got up and opened the wardrobe. Apart from being filled with her clothes, there wasn't a single thick blanket, let alone a thin one.
