Afraid of being laughed at by Xian Mingyu, Xiao Youyou stretched out her chubby little arms and wiped away her tears haphazardly. She couldn't let her uncle see her crying; she had just been comforting him.
If her uncle knew she was a crybaby, he might take back his promise and not take her to the amusement park.

Hsien Ming-yu explained the situation to the teacher, who was initially hesitant.
After all, Youyou is a child from their kindergarten. It's a bit dangerous for her to be taken out like this, especially since her parents aren't picking her up.
