Qiao Suxin's sudden fainting startled Shen Jingyan and Shen Honggang.

A flood of memories rushed into Xu Honglin's mind. He pulled at his hair and slowly sat down on the bench, lost in thought.

Shen Honggang's patience was wearing thin as he watched Xu Honglin mutter to himself.
Xu Honglin stood up straight, walked up to Shen Jingyan, hugged her tightly, and burst into tears.
"Jingya! My daughter! You are my and Suxin's daughter!"
Chen Jingyan stood there blankly, her mind blank, her tongue tied, unsure of what to say.
Shen Honggang's anger flared up again. He shoved Xu Honglin aside, grabbed his collar, and roared:
"Explain yourself! What exactly happened back then? My sister suddenly brought Jingya home and refused to say who her father was! Don't pretend to be a relative here. If you wanted to acknowledge her, why didn't you do it earlier? It's not like you've never met Jingya before!"

Even Gu Zhiyun, who is usually intelligent and insightful, was completely bewildered at this moment.
In his view, Xu Honglin was an upright and honest gentleman, and there was no need for him to put on an act after being exposed by Shen Honggang.
