Linda walked briskly forward in her high heels, a bright smile on her face.

"Yun, it's been a few days! You don't seem very happy."
Gu Zhiyun looked into her eyes and said, "It seems you already know about the investigation I'm under."
Linda tucked a strand of curly hair behind her ear, her laughter like the tinkling of silver bells: "I just heard about it too, oh my god, nobody's more shocked than me!"
Seeing her pretentious act, Gu Zhiyun felt a surge of disgust.
"Yun, there are some things I want to tell you." Linda took two steps closer and lowered her voice.
Gu Zhiyun pursed his lips and said, "This isn't the place to talk. Let's go to my house."
Linda was overjoyed; she never expected that Gu Zhiyun would take the initiative to invite her to his home.
"Great, I really like your coffee."
Gu Zhiyun quietly brought Linda home.
He made coffee for Linda himself, and then, while bending over, quickly turned on the tape recorder hidden under the coffee table.

Linda couldn't wait to extend an olive branch to Gu Zhiyun.
“Yun, I think it’s very unfair of them to investigate you based on just one anonymous letter. This is a questioning of your academic level and personal abilities. How can you tolerate that?”
Gu Zhiyun sighed.
"What can you do if you can't stand it?"
Linda exclaimed indignantly, "This is an insult to your character! Such a thing would never happen in the United States!"
Gu Zhiyun raised an eyebrow slightly: "Oh, really? What's the United States like?"
