Before she could even enter the house, the inspection team arrived.

Sun Xiumei gave one of the team members a wink, and that team member stepped forward and lifted the blankets.
Everyone present, except for Shen Yuqin, gasped.
There really was a men's shirt and a pair of boxer briefs hidden in the blanket!
Shen Yuqin, looking triumphant, pointed at Shen Jingyan's nose and began to berate him:
"Shen Jingyan, I knew you were no good long ago! You encouraged my dad to let you move out so you could easily seduce the educated youth!"
The team members handed the shirt and underwear to Sun Xiumei, who looked rather unhappy.
"Jingya, what's going on?"
Shen Jingyan remained relatively calm, and she immediately guessed that this was Shen Yuqin's doing.

Unlike Shen Yuqin's panic and frantic efforts to clear her name, Shen Jingyan and Gu Zhiyun, the two "parties involved" who were reported, were surprisingly calm.
Sun Xiumei is a person with life experience. If the two of them really had an improper relationship and did something shameful last night, she wouldn't have acted so calmly.
