"Why did you just walk in? Aren't you afraid people will see you and gossip?" Shen Jingyan teased.
"Who dares to gossip?" Gu Zhiyun said confidently, "You are now my rightful girlfriend, officially recognized!"
These days, a relationship with parental approval is perfectly legitimate!
Shen Jingyan stood up, lifted the pot lid, and Gu Zhiyun saw a large pot full of buns and asked:
"Why are you making so much? Do you think I'm a glutton?"
He said calmly with a smile, "Aren't we going to have dinner with you educated youth tonight? How can we not cook more?"
Gu Zhiyun proudly raised his head: "They are able to enjoy such a good meal all thanks to me!"
Shen Jingyan hadn't expected Gu Zhiyun to have such a proud side, and couldn't help but chuckle, saying, "Yes, yes, yes, I'll have those educated youth write you a letter of commendation later, thanking you for improving their meals!"
"Should I write you a letter to commend you?"

"Why would I need to write a letter to commend you?"
He stretched out his long arm, put his arm around Shen Jingyan's slender waist, and kissed her on the cheek.

Chen Jingyan blushed and pushed him away.
"You go first, I'll cook another dish and then I'll be there!"
Gu Zhiyun hugged her and kissed her several more times before reluctantly leaving.
When he arrived at the kitchen, the food was already on the table. Grandma Xu knew that everyone had worked hard logging today, so she specially made sauerkraut and pork stew with vermicelli and corn cakes.
Zhao Yanyan ate only refined rice and flour in the city, and had fish and meat with every meal. When she saw this kind of food, she almost pouted her nose.
"Is this what you usually eat?"
Shang Xiaorong snorted coldly: "We went to the countryside to develop our labor skills. We ate simple meals, unlike you, a pampered young lady, who lives a life of luxury every day!"

Gu Zhiyun swung his arm and took a few steps back to keep his distance from Zhao Yanyan.

He chose a seat furthest from Zhao Yanyan and sat down. Yang Zinuo was about to sit next to him when he chased her away.
"What? Are you trying to sit on two stools by yourself?"
Gu Zhiyun said, "This place is taken, you can sit over there!"
Yang Zinuo counted the number of people: "Aren't all of us educated youth here? Who did you save a seat for?"
Gu Zhiyun rolled her eyes at him: "Mind your own business!"
Yang Zinuo scoffed and sat down opposite him.
The educated youth took their bowls and chopsticks and began to eat. Zhao Yanyan wrinkled her nose, picked up a mouthful of pickled cabbage, licked it with the tip of her tongue, spat it out, and threw the mouthful of pickled cabbage on the ground.
"What is this? It's so sour, is it edible?"
Everyone was enjoying their meal when Zhao Yanyan's behavior suddenly disgusted them.
Yang Zinuo scolded with a dark face, "If you don't want to eat, then don't eat. Don't waste the country's food!"

The little girl is already very pretty even without dressing up, but with this outfit, she looks like a fairy descended from heaven!
Everyone else looked at Shen Jingyan with amazement and praise, but Zhao Yanyan only wore a sour and sullen face.
She saw Gu Zhiyun staring intently at Shen Jingyan, a faint smile playing on his lips, and her heart pounded instantly!
Gu Zhiyun was actually smiling at a country girl!

The harmonious and joyful atmosphere was ruined by her words.
Shen Jingyan immediately retorted, "You weren't an educated youth in the forest farm either, so what are you doing here?"
