Achille's Fury

Achille's Fury

The leading guard had been keeping an eye on her movements. Seeing this, he immediately turned around, his eyes sharp as a knife, and his tone was alert:

"What’s wrong with you?"

The more he thought about it, the more suspicious he felt. The appearance of this female was too strange. She ran to this secret place alone. She must be hiding something from her family.

He strode forward, stared down at her, and warned her sternly:

"I advise you not to play tricks. We believe you because you are a delicate female, but don't take us for fools!"

He stood with his arms folded, his expression serious, as if he would immediately take action if Anita made the slightest move.

Another guard felt that the captain was too harsh and thought: Even if this female wanted to explore the secrets of Caster Island, she would definitely not succeed.

Besides, she has weak mental power and is just a weak female. What threat can she pose to Caster Island?

In his eyes, Anrita was just an ordinary female who was lost and unwell.

However, the females on Caster Island are not valuable. They are often treated as commodities or employee rewards, so the males on the island generally have a bad attitude towards females.

The reason they were being polite to Anrita at this moment was entirely because of Archer's previous instructions.

After all, Achilles is the captain and has a very high prestige on the island.

The guard walked up to Anrita, lowered his head and asked, "Are you okay? Do you need me to call a doctor?"

As he leaned over, concern crossed his face.

Anita hesitated for two seconds, her mind racing: If she saw the doctor, she might be able to find out more information, such as the situation in the basement, or the recent situation of Knox and Edmund.

She was about to nod, but the captain of the guard frowned impatiently: "Forget it, the most urgent thing is to send her back, it's better to have less trouble than more..."

In his opinion, it was right to hand the female over to Aqir, and whether to find a doctor should be decided by Aqir.

Before he could finish his words, Anrita suddenly leaned against the wall, her stomach cramped and she began to retch.

Her body was shaking violently and her face was growing paler.

Everyone: “…”

The scene was suddenly silent, and everyone was shocked by this sudden situation.

The captain of the guards was also startled, and the stern expression on his face instantly turned into panic. He took two steps forward, but waved his hands in confusion.

"You...what's wrong with you? Are you okay?"

Just then, Aqir, having received the news, arrived. He stood tall and straight, his steps steady, but when he saw Anrita, surrounded by three guards and retching against the wall, his brow furrowed, and the air pressure around him plummeted, as if the temperature had dropped several degrees.

He asked coldly, "What are you doing?"

His eyes were as sharp as blades as he stared at the three guards, murderous intent surging in his eyes, as if they had committed an unforgivable crime.

Achilles's sudden appearance made the three guards' nerves suddenly tense.

Their faces turned pale with nervousness, and several pairs of eyes moved in fear at the frail Anrita who was retching against the wall. Then they turned their heads hurriedly and looked at the angry Aqir who exuded an oppressive aura with fear in their hearts.

The leading guard's forehead was covered with beads of sweat, and he was so nervous that his words stumbled. "Captain! We didn't do anything! When we first found her, we wanted to send her back to the VIP building. Who knew she would suddenly become like this? It really has nothing to do with us!"

At this moment, his heart was filled with despair, and he felt that he had been shrouded in a great injustice.

Although his tone was a bit harsh just now and he said a few harsh words to the little female, in his opinion, it was not an offense at all.

After all, this little female's behavior was too suspicious, and anyone would be wary.

The other two guards also looked nervous and frightened, and hurriedly explained:

"Yes, Captain. We found this little female while on patrol. She said she was going to the second floor to find a mate, but when she couldn't find one, she wandered over here. We only wanted to take her back to the VIP room on the sixth floor. We never did anything excessive. She seemed unwell, so we were planning to send her to the hospital."

The three team members were frightened by Archer's tangible anger and became incoherent. They tried desperately to defend themselves and clear themselves of suspicion.

They knew that Aqir was particularly interested in this little female, and fortunately he did not do anything out of line, otherwise, with Aqir's cruelty, he would have eaten them alive!

As Archer listened to the explanation, his face as gloomy as the sky before a storm, he strode towards this side.

Anita suddenly felt unwell just now, and she retched for a long time before she slowly recovered.

Unable to hear Achir's voice, she wondered why this super-senior male took such good care of her, but she also keenly realized that she could use him, even if it was just to express some affection to him.

Of course, she knew in her heart that she would never consider labeling him as a partner.

She had had enough companions already, and she loved them all with all her heart.

No matter how good he was to her or how high his mental strength was, Anrita was deeply resistant to this kind of man who had pledged allegiance to Caster Island and whose hands were stained with blood, and she would not even consider him.

Therefore, she felt no guilt in taking advantage of the other party.

Hearing the other party's footsteps approaching quickly, Anrita's brain was working rapidly to think of a response strategy.

The current situation is that Valua was taken to the basement for some unknown reason, and Knox was locked in a room deep in the corridor. The specific situation is unclear.

The two companions were captured by the people of Caster Island one after another. Anita was anxious and could only rack her brains to find a way to rescue them.

When Aqir saw the delicate little female leaning against the corner, surrounded by three tall and strong males, his face instantly became extremely ugly, as if covered with frost.

What's more, he saw that the little female's face was pale and bloodless, her hands that were holding the wall were trembling slightly, her appearance was full of fear and tension, and she was even retching. This made him worry: Is she sick?

Then he quickly walked over to Anrita, gently reached out and held her arm, lowered his head slightly, his eyes full of concern: "Little female, what's wrong with you? Did they bully you?"

He deliberately softened his voice when he spoke, but his low tone was filled with murderous intent, which made the three guards around him feel their scalps tingle, as if they were being stared at by the god of death.

They had no doubt that if the little female nodded, Captain Achir would punch them to death one by one.

Anita recovered and slowly raised her head. Seeing the three guards' faces twisted with tension, she glanced at Aqir calmly, shook her head slightly, and whispered:

"No, they didn't bully me. I just got lost and they wanted to take me back."

The three guards, who were tense and afraid to breathe, seemed to have their strength drained away when they heard this, and they instantly breathed a sigh of relief.

After hearing this, Archer's face darkened and his eyes, like sharp blades with a warning, swept coldly over the three guards.

Then he leaned over slightly, gently but with unquestionable strength, supporting Anita, his voice low and gentle: "Are you feeling better? Do you need to see a doctor?"

Anita was supported steadily by the tall and strong Aqir. Her face flushed slightly, and she looked a little shy and embarrassed. She said softly:

"I'm fine, but could you please take me to see my partner? I couldn't find him just now."

When Archer heard this, his body stiffened slightly, and a trace of imperceptible panic flashed in his deep eyes. He quickly looked away guiltily, not even daring to look into Anrita's clear eyes.

He avoided looking at her like a guilty thief. After a moment of silence, he waved to the three guards and said in a low voice, "I'll take her back. You guys go first."

The three male guards were standing by trembling with fear, but after hearing the captain's words, they hurried away without looking back.

After walking a long way and making sure that Archer couldn't hear them, they whispered as they walked.

A guard exclaimed in surprise, "Wow, I never thought! Our super high-ranking captain actually likes such an ordinary-looking female?"

Another guard echoed, his face filled with disbelief. "That's right! The key is that this female isn't just ordinary-looking, but her mental strength isn't high either, is it? Is there a D-rank one?"

The last guard touched his chin and analyzed:

"But then again, with the Captain's super high level, there's no female in the entire galaxy who can provide him with deep spiritual guidance. So the female's spiritual power level is not important to him. He cares more about his own preferences, right?"

The male-female ratio in the interstellar world is seriously unbalanced, and it is difficult for males to find a mate, and it is difficult to find a female they like as a wife.

Usually they have no qualifications to choose and can only passively wait to be selected.

It is a blessing to have a female willing to accept you, so how can you expect her to like you or not?

So it's understandable that a super high-level male like Achilles wants to find a female he truly loves.

After the three males left, Aqir helped Anrita walk forward again, whispering, "You're not in good condition. You should go see a doctor first."

Seeing that he kept avoiding the question, Anrita was anxious but suppressed her emotions. After a moment of silence, she emphasized again seriously and firmly: "Can you take me to find my partner? I can't find him now."

As she spoke, she stopped, stood firmly in place, and looked at Archer seriously, her eyes full of persistence and expectation.

Aqir lowered his head and met the little female's eyes.
