Sudden physical discomfort

Sudden physical discomfort

Anita's brows were furrowed.

how so?

Wasn't Edmund a guest of Caster's Isle?

Why did you run to the basement?

Did something happen?

Now, compared to Knox, Anrita is obviously more worried about Edmund.

She made a prompt decision and followed the direction of the sensation, hurriedly heading towards the entrance of the secret room.

However, just as they were about to reach the secret room, a male guard on patrol noticed something and shouted:

"Who is it? Who's there?"

The sound echoed in the empty corridor, breaking the silence.

Then, several tall and mighty male guards rushed out from nowhere like beasts emerging from the darkness, and ran towards Anrita with great momentum.

Their footsteps were heavy and rapid, which scared Anrita. She subconsciously turned around and ran outside. Her heartbeat accelerated sharply and her breathing became rapid.

She could have used her mental power to attack the guards, but now she was a D-class female and had to hide her true level and not let anyone discover her secret.

Moreover, the super high-level male administrator seemed to be quite caring towards her, so perhaps she could ask him for help.

As Anita ran, she quickly thought of a strategy in her mind and calmly looked for the exit of the corridor.

The male guards thought it was a dangerous person and chased after her in a hurry and aggressive manner, but when they got closer, they found that it was just a petite and thin female.

She was thin and looked particularly fragile in the dim light.

The leading male strode forward. Compared to the deafening roar just now, his voice was gentler, but still majestic:

"Stop! You little female, why are you here?"

He frowned slightly, his eyes fixed on Anrita.

Five or six tall men wearing white faceless masks surrounded Anrita like a solid barrier.

Anita was running out of breath, her chest felt stuffy and uncomfortable, and her originally rosy face turned slightly pale.

The males thought she was pale from fear.

One of the males quickly stepped forward and said to the leading male, "Hey, keep your voice down. You're scaring her."

He said, patting the lead male's shoulder.

The leading male lowered his voice, a look of frustration on his face: "Don't accuse me, I haven't done anything yet."

He spread his hands with an innocent look on his face.

"Don't you know that females are timid and delicate? You yelled so loudly just now, she must have been hurt."

The male who spoke shook his head slightly, his tone accusing.

They chatted for a few minutes, then all turned around and looked at Anrita with sharp eyes.

Anita is not a product of Caster Island. After all, the products here all wear uniform clothes and special collars and bracelets.

Moreover, these guards are very familiar with female commodities. According to their rank and status, they are qualified to apply for deep-level counseling of females and are familiar with the characteristics of each commodity.

The ordinary-looking little female before them was not wearing any special collar or bracelet, and her face was unfamiliar to them. They had never seen her before.

The bracelet on Anrita's hand is an internal communication bracelet that only guests can have. This bracelet can be used to view the list and introduction of items when the auction begins, and to increase the bid.

This simple design has now become the key symbol of her identity.

The male guards looked at each other with confusion in their eyes. Someone couldn't help but ask:

"Could she be the missing female guest on the sixth floor? It's a long way from the VIP building to here. Why did you come here?"

He narrowed his eyes slightly, his gaze scrutinizing.

They stared at Anita with solemn eyes and gloomy expressions, obviously becoming suspicious of her.

Anita: "..."

Her heart was beating wildly. She tried her best to remain calm, pretending to be panicked, and whispered with a trembling voice:

"I...I just got lost and was wandering around randomly..."

She lowered her head, not daring to look the males in the eye.

The leading male stared at her face intently, his gaze seeming to penetrate her heart:

"Lost? Where are you going?"

As he spoke, he contacted the guards on the sixth floor through the communication equipment.

When the guards found that Anrita was missing, they turned pale with fear.

You know, this was the female guest that Achir personally ordered to be taken good care of, but now she was lost by them.

If they didn't find the person, they were worried that Archer would beat them to death with one punch.

Achilles's strength and majesty are enough to scare them.

Faced with the questioning of several males, Anrita was indeed a little nervous.

After all, these males are all A-level high-level males, all of them are strong and muscular, with muscles bulging under their clothes.

They were armed with laser particle cannons, their weapons flashing with dangerous light. When they stood in front of her, it seemed as if they could crush her with one shot.

Even though her mental power could easily crush their spiritual sea.

Anita whispered, "I wanted to go to the second floor to see my partner, but..."

She paused, her lips trembling slightly, as if she wanted to say something but stopped herself.

A male guard saw her panic and took the conversation with a kind heart:

"Didn't see him? Your partner wasn't there, so you came out looking for him, right?"

He bent down slightly and tried to soften his tone.

Anita immediately looked up, gratitude flashing in her eyes, and nodded vigorously:

"Yes! That's it! After I came out, I couldn't find the way back. I walked further and further away... I didn't even know where I was or how to get back."

As she spoke, she raised her hand and wiped the cold sweat from her forehead.

The males exchanged glances, communicating silently, and then one of them spoke:

"Don't worry, dear guest. If you trust us, we will escort you back right away."

He bowed slightly, a polite smile on his face.

Anrita quickly thanked them: "Really? Thank you so much."

Her face showed just the right amount of surprise and relief.

So, the leading guard, along with two companions, carefully escorted Anrita forward.

They marched in unison, forming a protective circle around her, while the other guards returned to their posts and continued their meticulous patrols.

On the surface, Amrita was talking to the guards as usual, but her mental power was like an invisible giant net, always locking onto the positions of Knox and Edmund.

The two familiar spiritual fluctuations were like lights in the dark night, comforting her a little, but also adding to her anxiety.

How is Knox doing while being held in the unknown room?

Why was Edmund in the basement?

What exactly happened there?

These questions surged like the tide, but she had no way of finding out the exact location of the basement at the moment.

The surroundings are unfamiliar and there are vigilant guards around, so every step is full of risks.

Coupled with her physical discomfort, an indescribable feeling of weakness spread from her body.

After walking a few steps, she suddenly staggered and reached out to hold on to the wall to barely stand steady. Her face turned pale and beads of sweat oozed from her forehead.
