Shen Qingli and Meng Kexin overslept, and the social gathering had already started when they arrived.
Meng Xiao trotted over and took Shen Qingli's hand: "Are you cold? If you don't come over, I'll go back and see what's going on."

"Thank you, sister-in-law." Shen Qingli grabbed a handful and gave half to Meng Kexin.
"Who is this little girl?" Liu Mei had just noticed. She had thought she was some newly arrived military dependent.
"This is my sister. She was afraid that I would be bored, so she came to stay with me for a while. Kexin, this is my sister-in-law." Shen Qingli introduced.
"Hello, sister-in-law."
Meng Kexin called sweetly.
"Hey, hello little girl, you're so pretty. Are you married?"
"No."
Meng Kexin smiled shyly. She was only outgoing with her family; she was rather shy and quiet around outsiders.
Everyone was chatting happily.
Chen Xiang's eyes lit up when she heard the conversation. A plan came to her mind.
There wasn't really any program, it was just people volunteering to show off their talents. Most people these days don't have any talent.
After a few shows, it was over. Everyone sat together, eating sunflower seeds, candies, and chatting.

At least it can be regarded as a social gathering for exchanging feelings.
