Chapter 108 Cooling Down
Xiao An propped up his front paws, as if he wanted to say something, "Awoo."
Lang Ye didn't understand and whimpered in response. He then walked over to sit next to Bai Zhaoyan and said, "Zhao Zhao, don't sleep anymore. Get up and eat."
She slept all afternoon and couldn't fall asleep at night.
Bai Zhaoyan didn't react at all. Lang Ye looked at her pale face and his heart skipped a beat. He raised his hand to push her arm, but when he touched her burning arm, he suddenly pulled his hand back and touched her forehead. "It's so hot."
He tried calling out twice, but still couldn't wake Bai Zhaoyan up. Lang Ye turned around and ran out of the room.

Xiaoqing was hanging upside down on the beam, but was frightened by Lang Ye and lost her hold, and fell to the ground with a bang.

Ping An Xile nodded obediently and watched Mo Wang stride out of the room.
Ye Zheng took off Bai Zhaoyan's outer clothes, leaving only her undershirt and shorts. Yao Ze and Lang Ye wiped her body with a towel without saying a word.
Bai Zhaoyan's temperature wouldn't go down, so Mo Wang made up his mind and brought the bathtub out from the bathroom. Cen Ran seemed to understand what he was going to do and said hurriedly, "I'll go add some water."
Mo Wang nodded, and after pouring the water in, he used his supernatural power to freeze the water into ice, then broke the upper layer of ice. Cen Ran reached out and touched the icy water, frowning with some concern, "Is it too cold?"
Mo Wang said, "I don't know how long Zhao Yan has been feverish. If she continues like this, she will become stupid. We must lower her temperature quickly."
Ye Zheng picked up Bai Zhaoyan and carried her sideways into the bathtub. Water rippled along the edge of the tub and poured onto the ground.
He supported Bai Zhaoyan's body to prevent her from unconsciously sliding in. Yao Ze wrung the towel with the water in the bathtub, folded it into a small long piece and placed it on Bai Zhaoyan's forehead.
The atmosphere in the main room was solemn.
Lin Che and Xiao Qing came back quickly, holding a large pile of herbs in their arms, still covered in dirt. Cen Ran shook his hands and stepped forward to take them, "I'll go make some medicine."
Cen Ran washed the herbs and put them into a small pot, added water and started to boil them using his supernatural powers.
After soaking in ice water for half an hour, Bai Zhaoyan's body temperature finally dropped. His teeth chattered, goose bumps appeared all over his body, and he began to feel cold.
Ye Zheng pulled the person out of the water without hesitation. Lang Ye came forward with a bath towel, wrapped the person in it, took Bai Zhaoyan from his hands, and carried her to the bedroom. "I'll change Zhao Zhao's clothes first, wait."
No one spoke. No one was thinking about competing for favor at this moment. They were all worried about Bai Zhaoyan's health.
Lang Ye changed Bai Zhaoyan's clothes, held her head and laid her down, covered her with a quilt, and then went to open the door. Cen Ran happened to come in with boiling hot medicine. "Hurry, hurry, feed it to Zhaoyan."
Mo Wang took the bowl of medicine from his hand, used his supernatural powers to cool it down slightly before handing it over.

Mo Wang looked at him without saying anything and poured the medicine in.
The unconscious person was unconscious and unable to swallow on his own. Yao Ze could only gently stroke Bai Zhaoyan's throat up and down. Bai Zhaoyan seemed to feel itchy, and his throat rolled for a moment, then he swallowed the medicine with a gulp.
The two of them fed Bai Zhaoyan the medicine mouthful by mouthful, and they both breathed a sigh of relief as they watched Bai Zhaoyan's face gradually regain its color.
In the second half of the night, Bai Zhaoyan had a fever again and only after he was given another bowl of medicine did the fever subside.
None of the six dared to sleep and sat in the bedroom all night until dawn the next day.
At this moment, Cen Ran and Ye Zheng completely forgot that today was the day they were going to the Fox Clan. They just wanted to stay by Bai Zhaoyan's side, at least until she woke up first.
Mo Wang leaned against the head of the bed, holding Bai Zhaoyan's hand. He noticed the fingers in his palm moved, and looked up. Sure enough, he saw Bai Zhaoyan's eyelashes trembled a few times and he opened his eyes.
"Zhaoyan, you're awake." Mo Wang's voice was hoarse from not sleeping all night, and the other five beasts turned their heads in unison.
Bai Zhaoyan blinked when he heard Mo Wang's voice and swallowed dryly, "Mo Wang? Is it your turn to climb into the bed today?"
She propped herself up and sat up on the bed, her voice soft, as if unconsciously coquettishly saying to him, "I'm so thirsty, I need some water."
"I'll do it." Lang Ye quickly poured a cup of warm water and handed it to Bai Zhaoyan's lips.
Bai Zhaoyan stared at the darkness before him and shrank back, "Lang Ye?"
"Why are you here too?"
"You sneaked into my room again in the middle of the night." She was a little angry, but it was too dark and she couldn't see Mo Wang and Lang Ye. However, she still tentatively grabbed Lang Ye's hand and drank the water.
After finally relieving the dryness and itchiness in her throat, she yawned again and raised her hand to rub her sore eyes.
