Chapter 20 Adventure

Chapter 20 Adventure

It seems that this is where the magnetic field is emitted.

Bai Zhaoyan walked into the stone house step by step and was shocked to find a statue of a beast god standing in front of him.

It turned out to be the Beast Temple.

But in the original owner's memory, he had never heard anyone mention the existence of this place deep in the forest.

There was a mark in each of the four directions under the statue, and next to it seemed to be some ancient text that she did not recognize.

Bai Zhaoyan walked around the statue and found that the marks were the paw prints of four different animals.

They are tiger, fox, wolf and eagle.

The four tribes outside the Eternal Night Forest are these species.

Her hand brushed over the tiger's paw prints, and a strange feeling spread from her fingertips to her heart.

A picture suddenly appeared in front of Bai Zhaoyan's eyes. A middle-aged man wearing animal skins and a headband made of animal skin on his forehead walked into the Beast God Temple, knelt on the ground devoutly, whispered something, and then kowtowed three times.

She stood there in a daze, her fingers trembling slightly.

This person seemed to be the original owner's father, the former leader of the tiger tribe who had been missing for a long time.

He had been here before and left paw prints.

But why did he disappear?

Could it be related to this Beast Temple?

Thinking of this, Bai Zhaoyan began to search the temple.

Unfortunately, there was nothing in the temple except the statue of the beast god. It seemed that no beast had been there for a long time and the statue was covered with dust.

Bai Zhaoyan stared at the statue for a long time, knelt down and kowtowed three times, then took out a small piece of animal skin from the space, "Master Beast God, I'm sorry."

She wiped the dusty statue clean bit by bit and found that the entire statue was made of bronze. The current tiger tribe did not have such smelting skills.

Who built this Beast Temple? How long has it existed?

She doesn't know.

I always feel that this place has a lot to do with my father's disappearance.

Bai Zhaoyan didn't notice that at some point, a red dot appeared between her eyebrows, like a cinnabar beauty mole.

The first ray of morning glow pierced through the clouds and sprinkled into the camp. Mo Wang opened his eyes and turned his head to look at Bai Zhaoyan. Seeing that there were only two animal skins left in the middle, his hair suddenly stood on end.

Where is Bai Zhaoyan?

He sniffed, but didn't smell any trace of Bai Zhaoyan. Mo Wang's mind went blank, and he instantly arched his body. He swept his wolf tail across Cen Ran's head, and nudged Lang Ye with his front paws, "Wake up, Zhaoyan is gone."

Cen Ran was about to get angry when his sweet dream was disturbed, but he suddenly opened his eyes when he heard Mo Wang's words.

Lang Ye lowered his head and sniffed the animal hide, then transformed into a human form. "What's going on?"

Hearing the noise, Ye Zheng also opened his eyes slowly.

Mo Wang shook his head, "I don't know, and I can't smell which direction she went."

His heart was in a rage, and Lang Ye was so anxious that he was spinning in circles.

Cen Ran scratched him with his claws, "Be quiet, you're making me dizzy, idiot."

After saying this, he got up and went to find Bai Yuan to tell him that Bai Zhaoyan was missing.

The camp suddenly became noisy and all the orcs gathered together.

Vince said, "Could it be that she went into the forest alone again without telling us?"

Bai Zhaoyan had entered the forest alone before, so it was normal for him to make such a guess.

"No." Ye Zheng replied indifferently.

She promised herself she wouldn't run around.

He was willing to believe her this time.

Lang Ye was very anxious. "Could something have happened? The forest is so dangerous. I have to go find her."

"Stop." Bai Yuan thought for a moment, "Calm down, let's go together."

"Ye Zheng, Mo Wang, Wen Si and..." He called out the names of a few orcs, "You stay in the camp, and the others will come with me to look for them."

Mo Wang moved and opened his mouth to speak. He also wanted to find Bai Zhaoyan and didn't want to stay here and wait.

Bai Yuan saw what he was thinking and comforted him, "We can't all go. Otherwise, if she comes back and no one in the camp goes out to look for us, we'll miss her."

Hearing this, Mo Wang suppressed his impatience and nodded slightly.

Bai Yuan, Lang Ye, Cen Ran and other orcs went into the forest to search.

Bai Zhaoyan stared at the beast statue and muttered to himself, "What do you want me to discover?"

Is he attracted to this body because it belongs to the former leader's daughter?

She made wild guesses and tentatively placed her hands on the paw prints of other races.

Fox's, no response.

Wolf's, no reaction.

Until he encountered the last one, a scene appeared in Bai Zhaoyan's eyes again.

Four middle-aged men knelt down around the Beast God statue, clasped their hands together, and swore devoutly to the Beast God: "Beast God, bless us, protect our people, and let us enjoy eternal peace."

"The Tiger Tribe leader, Bai Qi, swore an oath never to invade other tribes for territory or food. He swore this oath before the Beast God. If he doesn't obey, his entire tribe will be destroyed."

The leaders of the other three tribes also swore the same oath.

It looks like a peace treaty jointly agreed upon by the four tribes.

But what does this have to do with my father’s disappearance?

If the tribal leader could come to this place, then my brother should have been here too.

Bai Zhaoyan was immersed in her thoughts and didn't know how much time had passed when she suddenly heard someone calling her.

"Zhao Yan."

"Zhao Zhao, where are you?"

It was vague and not very clear, but Bai Zhaoyan was delighted. It was Lang Ye's voice.

She immediately turned around and ran out, but the next second her feet were empty, "Ah!"

The scene in front of him suddenly changed. Bai Zhaoyan appeared out of thin air in the forest, and the Beast God Temple disappeared without a trace.

She stepped into the swamp without any preparation and half of her calf was submerged.

Bai Zhaoyan calmed down quickly after just one look and didn't dare to struggle, fearing that he would get deeper into trouble.

"Lang Ye, brother, I'm here."

Lang Ye, who was wandering around the forest, heard the sound, his pupils suddenly shrank, and he rushed towards the sound.

Cen Ran was closer and arrived first. He sighed as he saw Bai Zhaoyan lying in the swamp and slowly moving his legs to increase the contact area.

"You really know how to stir up trouble." Cen Ran's words were still very vicious, but he couldn't help but feel relieved in his heart.

After circling the swamp for a while and transforming into a human form, Cen Ran grabbed a vine and threw it to her hand, "Hold on tight."

Bai Zhaoyan didn't expect that he would be the first one to come. He swallowed his saliva and fumbled to hold on to the vines. "Cen Ran, I thought I would never see you again."

Cen Ran rolled his eyes and said, "As long as you don't run around, you can only see it in the next hundred years. Shut up right now."

Bai Zhaoyan curled his lips and explained, "I didn't run around."

Lang Ye and Bai Yuan arrived in time. Lang Ye panicked when he saw Bai Zhaoyan trapped in the swamp. He subconsciously rushed into the swamp, but was immediately stopped by Bai Yuan.

"Calm down. You can't get out if you go in." Bai Yuan quickly scanned the surroundings and fetched two vines. "Zhao Yan, tie them around your waist. We'll pull you out."

"good."

The three beasts worked together and quickly pulled Bai Zhaoyan out of the swamp.

Bai Yuan looked at his sister who was covered in mud and asked, "Why did you come here alone?"

Bai Zhaoyan wiped his face casually, took his hand and replied, "Brother, I saw my father."
