Chapter 67 The Divine Doctor Wants to Become an Apprentice

The person who arrived was none other than the legendary physician Ji Xiaotang.

He was dressed in a moon-white robe and held a feather fan in his hand, looking like a sage.

Looking at the newcomer's face, Cui Yulu could tell at a glance that he was easy to get along with. She just didn't understand why he would take Fu Yunying, this unruly girl, as his apprentice. It was like slapping herself in the face.

“Master, you’ve come at the right time. My brother just had a relapse of the poison, and the prescription you gave me didn’t work, so I came to ask you for help.”

Ji Xiaotang glanced at Fu Xiaoyu, who had returned to normal, and said with a light reproach, "You silly girl, isn't your brother perfectly fine?"

“Master, she treated my brother, it has nothing to do with me. You should teach her a lesson. She wants me to acknowledge her as my master, but I refused, so she bullies me.”

Ji Xiaotang glanced at his apprentice. He knew her well enough to know that she was all talk and no action, and she never did her basic skills properly. He guessed that she had run into a tough opponent and was being bullied, so she called him to help her save face.

Ji Xiaotang walked gracefully to Fu Xiaoyu, and as he brushed past Han Yu'an, he couldn't help but stop and take a closer look at Han Yu'an.

"This child is destined for greatness. Xiaoyu, you must make the most of this talent."

Upon hearing Ji Xiaotang's words, Fu Xiaoyu was initially puzzled, but quickly realized that Han Yu'an was no ordinary person and would surely achieve great things in the future, making it necessary to bring him under her wing.

"Mr. Ji is absolutely right. Xiaoyu will definitely keep it in mind."

Ji Xiaotang nodded, then grabbed his wrist to take his pulse and found that most of the poison had been neutralized, and he would be fine for at least a while, but it would take some time to completely eradicate it.

"Hmm, what method was used? It's so effective, it's truly an eye-opener for me."

After instructing Fu Xiaoyu, Ji Xiaotang approached Han Yu'an and asked, "Young brother, could you tell me what method you used to detoxify him?"

Fu Yunying looked helpless; this old man was so confused even without drinking.

"Master, the one treating the illness is the woman, not the man."

After being reminded by her voice, Ji Xiaotang chuckled awkwardly to cover up his embarrassment.

"Hehe, I see. It was a young girl who cured you. Who is your master?"

Cui Yulu had long thought the old man was quite adorable, so she replied with a smile, "I don't have a master; I met a deity on the mountain who taught me."

"Master, do you even believe this? Gods and immortals? What do gods and immortals look like? Why don't you come and teach me?"

Ji Xiaotang glanced at her: "Isn't it because you're stupid?"

After a moment of silence, a burst of laughter erupted around them, with only Fu Yunying stamping her feet in anger.

This old man can forget about drinking from now on; cut it off for him.

"Young lady, could you tell me how you healed him?"

Seeing his devout expression, Cui Yulu knew he was wholeheartedly devoted to the inheritance of medical skills, so she specially found a room where the old man and the young man chatted happily.

Fu Xiaoyu had to deal with Tuoba Xuan's escape, so she asked Fu Yunying to entertain Han Yu'an.

"Go do your thing, don't worry about me."

Fu Xiaoyu had many books here. Han Yu'an picked one up and sat down to study it, having no time to pay attention to Fu Yunying.

Fu Yunying found it boring, but still wanted to bother Han Yu'an: "Were you really an idiot before?"

Han Yu'an didn't even raise his head, only letting out a soft "hmm" in response.

"What were you like when you were an idiot?"

"Just like you are now."

Fu Yunying slammed her hand on the table in anger, but it did not intimidate Han Yu'an; instead, it hurt her own hand.

"It's pointless. With your sharp tongue, how could any little girl possibly be interested in you?"

"......"

"This is boring. I'm going to go see Master. Is he scolding that little girl?"

Fu Yunying ran out happily, leaving Han Yu'an alone in the house.

In another room, Cui Yulu and Ji Xiaotang chatted very congenially. Ji Xiaotang praised her medical skills repeatedly and even wanted to become her apprentice.

"The young lady is indeed remarkable. It seems that I am getting old and can't keep up with the times. She has such a simple method. It seems that I have been overcomplicating things."

"Actually, no. Your prescription can also cure Fu Xiaoyu, but it will take some time. The problem now is that his body doesn't have time to wait."

Ji Xiaotang grew to appreciate this young girl more and more; she was courageous and resourceful, and he was certain that she would carry forward the medical skills in the future.

So he immediately decided: "Little girl, if you don't mind, how about taking me as your apprentice?"

Cui Yulu couldn't believe her ears. This old man was really unpredictable; he actually wanted to become her apprentice.

"Absolutely not! You are a renowned physician in the martial arts world. How can you become an apprentice of a young girl like me? Besides, my methods are not random combinations and are not considered refined."

“Oh, little girl, you don’t understand. There’s always something to learn from others. Your medical skills are better than mine, so you should be my teacher.”

As he was about to bow to Cui Yulu, Fu Yunying happened to see this.

"Master, did you teach that little girl a lesson?"

Who knew that the person who greeted her was her master, who wanted to become her disciple.

Fu Yunying didn't understand. Just chatting was enough to get the old man to become her apprentice. It seemed this little girl had some tricks up her sleeve.

"Master, what are you doing? Why do you want to become his disciple? Doesn't that make me even inferior?"

Cui Yulu originally didn't want to take Ji Xiaotang as her apprentice, but seeing Fu Yunying's arrogant attitude, she wanted to teach her a lesson.
