Mr. Qian's heart pounded when he heard the knocking. When he heard the familiar rhythm, he ran to open the door and saw An Moxue standing there. He was stunned for a moment, then quickly grabbed her arm and pulled her into the house, not forgetting to peek into the hallway before slamming the door shut.
"Comrade?" Mr. Qian pulled An Moxue into the study. The curtains were drawn, so the outside couldn't see what was happening inside.
"Mr. Qian, you can call me Xiaoxue."
He released her arm and said, "Xiaoxue, how are you going to get these things out?"
As he spoke, he handed her a stack of documents and said very seriously, "Time is tight, so I only wrote down the most important parts. Thank you for your help." After saying that, he bowed solemnly to An Moxue.
“It’s what I should do.” An Moxue glanced at the documents in her hand and said to Mr. Qian, “Sir, do you have any other documents that you would like me to take with you?”
He was taken aback, clearly not expecting An Moxue to take away other documents. He looked at An Moxue with questioning eyes.
"Yes, but there are too many. They're too big a target and too dangerous. It's better to just take the most essential ones."
"I have a photographic memory, sir, would you like to give it a try?"
Suddenly, he was overwhelmed with joy. "I want it!"
He then took out stacks of documents and placed them on his desk. When the stacks became so high that he himself realized it was impossible, he smiled sheepishly and said, "Just do your best."
An Moxue said, "Mr. Qian, could you go to the living room and keep an eye on the nanny? Call me when she comes back."
"good."
Mr. Qian went out and thoughtfully closed the door behind him.
An Moxue took out her camera and started taking pictures until there was a knock on the door. An Moxue asked, "What's wrong, sir?" but her hands didn't stop moving.
"I felt something was wrong. There was a fight going on outside, and it wasn't just in one place."
"Sir, don't worry about it. As long as they don't come into your house, just let them fight like dogs."
Upon hearing this, Mr. Qian immediately understood what was going on.
Feeling uneasy, An Moxue added, "Does the gentleman have a gun?"
"have."
"It's still best to take it out as a precaution."
"good."
An Moxue looked at the last document, then at her watch, and quickened her pace.
A moment later, An Moxue pushed open the door, looked at Mr. Qian wiping his pistol in the living room, and said, "Sir, it's finished."
"So long! Did you remember it? If not, take another look." Mr. Qian was incredulous.
"Remember, Mr. Qian, put all the books back in their place before the nanny returns! Your neighbors on both sides have been bribed, so be careful in the future, sir. I'm leaving now." An Moxue said, turning to leave the house.
"Wait. I know several people who want to send their documents back to their country. Can you help them?" He looked at her, his eyes full of hope.
"Yes, I'd love to."
"Okay, I'll contact your colleague after I've made contact with the right person."
"Welcome, anytime. Take care, sir." After saying this, An Moxue quickly left the room and walked into the stairwell.
As soon as he reached the next floor, he was stopped by a fat woman standing in the stairwell. "Wait, where did you come from? Was it upstairs, at Mr. Qian's house?"
"Who are you? Why should I tell you?" An Moxue exuded her aura, startling the fat woman into a moment of stunned silence.
Then, thinking of the huge profits, she stopped An Moxue again and said righteously, "You must tell me, or I won't let you leave."
"Oh? Is that so?" An Moxue didn't want to waste time talking to her, so she took out a few silver needles and started pricking her body in a dazzling display.
The woman was unable to move. She glared at An Moxue with resentment, but no sound came out. Her resentment turned into terror as she looked at her.
An Moxue smiled wickedly, "Don't worry, you will pay the price for your actions." As she spoke, she injected a few more needles, and the woman's face visibly twitched and twisted, and her body fell uncontrollably to the ground.
An Moxue removed the silver needles from her body and went downstairs happily.
As they walked to the entrance on the first floor, Mr. Qian's white nanny happened to be walking to the front door, and the two missed each other.
The white nanny saw her fat downstairs neighbor, who was paralyzed from the shock, in the hallway. She didn't understand the fear and hints in the woman's eyes at all. She just carried the groceries home, called for an ambulance, and stayed by the fat woman's side until the ambulance arrived and put her in the vehicle.
Back home, she didn't forget to tell Mr. Qian, "Sir, it wasn't safe outside the neighborhood today; several groups of people got into a fight."
"Okay, let's not go out. I'm hungry. You cook, and I'll go to the study. Call me when the food is ready."
"Yes, sir." She was quite pleased that her husband wasn't going out, and her reply was cheerful.
An Moxue left the residential area and went to the shoe repair shop. The man was still arguing with the shoe repairman, and it seemed like it was never going to end.
The bicycle repairman and the customer were still fighting. The stall was in chaos, and even the bicycle being repaired was smashed to pieces. The two were still wrestling.
When An Moxue walked some distance away from the food stall, a few small objects popped out of her hand and hit the three people watching. The situation immediately reversed. The homeless people surrounded the three people and beat them up.
The couple who ran the food stall had already hidden to the side, too scared to speak, trembling with fear.
After beating the three men, the homeless man took all their valuables and left.
The next day, when the couple packed up their stall, they found a wad of money next to the stove. They waited for many days, but no one came back to claim it.
As An Moxue left the residential area, she saw several people fighting. She hailed a taxi that happened to be coming by, got in, and said to the driver, "Taxi driver, do fights often happen here? I've seen several groups fighting on my way here. It seems like nobody dares to come out at night."
The taxi driver said, "No way! There are fights during the day, but they're rare! You're not going to run into some gang fight or turf war, are you?"
"Really?" An Moxue looked extremely shocked and didn't know what to do. "Can I come here again in the future? I heard from a friend that there's a really good food stall here, so I came all the way here. I was planning to come back next time."
The taxi driver treated her like a child, saying, "You should be able to come, but if you're scared, you can bring one or two friends." After all, people from Lanzhou tend to look small here!
"Thank you, driver. You're such a kind person."
The taxi driver, who was given the "good guy" card, was in a good mood and became more talkative, recommending many delicious and fun places to An Moxue.
Finally, before getting off the bus, the driver warmly told An Moxue, "Little girl, don't be afraid, just have fun as usual. Our country is very safe."
No, you seem to have some misunderstanding about safety. Is this what you call safety?
