Chapter 382 The First Target

Only after Wu Sicheng finished his work did he look up, put down his pen, hand the document to An Moxue, and say, "Take a look and see what you think."

An Moxue looked down at the information carefully for a while, then asked, "Is this all you found out during this time?"

"Yes, these five places are the most likely places to imprison Kong Daoxue. I've filtered out some. My current task is to find his whereabouts and rescue him if possible. Did you successfully deliver the items to the organization?"

"Well, you don't know, there's a code inside, written in a combination of physics formulas and Lan Kingdom script. It says that whoever finds it should take it back to Lan Kingdom and hand it over to the country. Do you think it was really Kong Daoxue who was so flustered that he accidentally dropped that manuscript?"

"It's hard to say. If you want to know the answer, only Confucianism can provide it."

Looking at the materials Wu Sicheng had compiled, An Moxue said, "Coincidentally, I was also assigned this task by my superiors. And you probably wouldn't believe it, but someone told me that the materials could advance our country's nuclear physics by more than fifteen years."

Wu Sicheng was also somewhat surprised. "Really?" He knew this information was important, but he didn't expect it to be this important. He also began to wonder if the information had just fallen into An Moxue's hands by chance.

"Should we join forces?"

"I've shown you all the information, what do you say?"

Which one to go first?

"How about starting with the closest one?"

"We need to study this carefully."

And so, the two of them worked until well past midnight, until they finally finished making the plan. An Moxue's stomach started growling. Since returning, she had only eaten a fruit meal, which had long since been digested.

Wu Sicheng suppressed a laugh and asked, "I brought some food, would you like to eat some together?"

An Moxue ignored his laughter and asked, "What food? You even brought food with you?"

"Yeah, I didn't have time to eat. The food I ordered from the restaurant is still warming in the pot! I came and saw you were sleeping, so I didn't eat. I've been busy until now and forgot to eat."

"Okay, let's eat together."

After seeing the table full of dishes, An Moxue took a bite, then another, and several more, tasting each dish before asking in surprise, "Which restaurant is this?"

"It's a bit far from here, but I can take you there to eat sometime when I have time."

An Moxue replied without even looking up, "Okay."

This guy can be so oblivious sometimes; seeing her eating so heartily made him feel hungry too.

The next day, An Moxue and Sophia met at their usual horse farm.

When An Moxue arrived, Sophia and the other three were already there.

Before even meeting her, Sofia started teasing An Moxue: "Jido, you've lost contact as soon as you returned to Mongolia. What's making you so reluctant to leave? Is there some handsome guy you're hiding over there?"

An Moxue was speechless: "Get out of here. I went back to my hometown. It's remote there, so I can't contact you. How was your holiday? Did you have a good time?"

Saiya walked up to her and said, "Giddy, you would never believe how popular our shop is. I really didn't expect to make so much money. I'll tell you a number, and you'll be surprised."

Then, she whispered a string of numbers in An Moxue's ear. An Moxue's mouth dropped open. "So many?"

Saiya asked smugly, "Yeah, you didn't expect that, did you!"

An Moxue nodded and asked, "What, do you have some kind of plan?"

The four of them looked at her and nodded in unison, then asked, "Should we increase our investment and expand the scale?"

"Martha, you're in charge of the business. It's mainly up to you. If you have no objections and feel you can manage it, then I have no objections either. Just let me know the amount of funds when the time comes."

Martha said with a smile, "No objection. I'll go back and work on a plan to see how much additional funding we need besides the current profits. I'll let you know once I've calculated it."

Katyusha said, "Girls, now that we've finished talking about business, let's go horseback riding!"

So the five of them went to the changing room, changed into riding clothes, and went to the stables to choose a horse.

Saiya asked curiously, "Jido, do you ride horses everywhere you go in Mongolia?"

An Moxue explained with a smile, "You'll see when I take you to my pasture. But there are very few horseback riders in the city; some do, but not many."

After the group had chosen their horses, Sofia said, "Want to have a race?"

"OK!"

"no problem."

Five carefree young girls mounted their horses, flicked their whips, and the five steeds galloped away, disappearing into the distance in an instant, their unrestrained laughter still audible in the distance.

During the day, An Moxue and her friends stayed at the horse farm, riding horses and having a picnic, enjoying themselves immensely.

That night, after dark, Wu Sicheng drove a jeep to the place the two had agreed upon, picked up An Moxue, and headed to the first location they had agreed on. The main purpose for tonight was to scout out the area without alerting the enemy.

"This research institute doesn't look very big, but the security is quite tight. Be careful once you're inside. The weapons are in the back rack; check them. Do you need anything else?"

An Moxue opened a box in the back seat, inside which were a mask, gloves, steel wire rope, dagger, pistol with magazine, and hand ammunition.

She took out the pistol and began to adjust it. "Not bad, that's enough. I also prepared some stun grenades. I'll give you some later. You just throw a stun grenades at the other person and they'll disperse, just like a sleeping potion. Just take an antidote before we move out."

"good."

"You said you've been searching for so long and haven't found anyone, do you think the two of us can find them?"

"Yes, I think so!"

"You seem very confident, but I have absolutely no confidence."

Wu Sicheng felt that he might not be able to find it on his own, but with An Moxue, there was really hope. This was just his intuition, without any reason.

The two drove for more than three hours and finally arrived at an abandoned factory area. Wu Sicheng hid the car, and An Moxue was already waiting for him nearby.

The two traveled through the night, like leopards in the jungle, disappearing quickly.

They finally stopped in front of a high wall. The two men made hand gestures, first Wu Sicheng, then An Moxue. They jumped onto the top of the wall. It was the early hours of the morning, a quiet time, and there was no one else around except for the patrolling soldiers.

The two first avoided a patrol of soldiers, and then successfully entered the house.

The two began searching room by room. Both were masters of ancient martial arts, and they could find out if anyone was inside a room just by pausing at the door. Depending on the situation, they could then pry open the door to check who was inside.

And so, the two of them searched the most likely building, but still found nothing.

Just then, a group of soldiers escorted two people over. The two quickly climbed up the wall and onto the roof. After the soldiers passed, the two quickly retreated from the building and jumped over the courtyard wall.
