After a night and a half of flight, the plane finally landed at Anadolu in Osiri at 10:00 a.m. Before getting off the plane, An Moxue gave each of the two pilots a large red envelope.
The two drivers watched her walk away and said, "She's beautiful, even her back view is captivating!"
"Yes, mainly because I want such a generous boss too."
"Quick, open it and see how much money is in it!" the two said, opening their respective red envelopes.
"Wow! That's a year's salary! I look forward to Miss Giddo flying on our plane again next time."
"But don't you find it strange? His bodyguard's face was covered up so well that we couldn't see what he looked like. And he didn't have the imposing presence of a bodyguard at all."
"Oh, why bother digging into the affairs of the rich! Are you tired of living?"
"That's true. Shall we rest today and go back tomorrow?"
"OK."
An Moxue felt much more relaxed after returning to Anado.
After leaving the airport, she took Yang Yuning straight to the train station, bought train tickets to Ulan Nakh, Mongolia, and after getting off the train, they transferred to another train and headed straight to a border town between Mongolia and Lancang, which was also the final stop of the train journey.
An Moxue stood with Yang Yuning in the border town. Pointing to the rolling mountains opposite, she said, "Mr. Yang, that's the entire continent of Lan Kingdom right across the way. Going home is just around the corner. Now, let's set off."
As he spoke, Yang Yuning mounted his horse, still somewhat unsure, and asked, "I've only practiced riding for half a day, can I cross mountains and valleys?"
An Moxue thought to herself, "You're riding my Lightning, what could possibly be wrong with that?"
But he said, "Don't worry, these are my horses, they're being kept here. They're very obedient. Just sit tight and you'll be fine. Hold on tight to the reins, we're leaving."
After saying that, he said to the two horses, "Snow Treader, Lightning, let's go."
Just as Ta Xue and Shan Dian were finally released from the space and were in high spirits, An Mo Xue gave a command, and the two horses rushed into the woods at top speed, startling Yang Yuning so much that he almost fell off the horse.
An Moxue saw this and laughed, scolding, "Lightning, don't run around like that. Be careful. If you drop my friend, you'll be sorry."
As if understanding An Moxue's words, the gale let out a howl.
"Alright, quiet down. If we attract the border guards, it won't be good. Let's go."
Sure enough, after An Moxue finished speaking, the two horses made no more noise and obediently continued forward.
Two people, two horses, leisurely moving forward.
If you didn't know they were illegally crossing the border, you'd think they were riding horses for fun!
The life of a desperate escape began from the moment I boarded the plane. I no longer felt any threat or danger. Although I was always on the move, I never stopped.
Yang Yuning was deeply grateful to An Moxue for this.
Especially now, aren't people who smuggle themselves into the country always very careful and extra cautious?
However, the fact that An Moxue was riding with him on horseback along the border road in such a swaggering manner seemed completely unreal.
An Moxue held the reins in one hand and a bunch of grapes in the other, eating and spitting out the skins as she went, looking quite carefree and relaxed.
Yang Yuning asked with some concern, "Don't the border guards patrol? Is it safe for us to be like this?"
An Moxue swallowed a grape and said, "It's alright. By the time they patrol here, we'll be far ahead, and we'll have missed each other. Mr. Yang, didn't I put some food in your backpack? You can eat some. Right now, we're going up and down hills, so we can't speed up. But once we get over this mountain, we'll pick up speed and get back to our journey."
“You seem very familiar with this road. Even when you crossed the border into England, it didn’t seem like your first time. You must have traveled to many places to be so calm and composed.”
"It's alright, after walking around so many times, they're all pretty much the same, nothing special."
And so, the two of them safely crossed the border and entered the territory of the Lan Kingdom.
As Yang Yuning continued on his journey, he even had a slight illusion that the road home wasn't so difficult after all, it just took a little longer to get there.
However, he was unaware of just how irritable the English government and research institutes were.
The Kenyan director, hands on his hips, pointed at his subordinates and yelled, "No news yet? How is that possible? Are you all just sitting around doing nothing? Why haven't you sent anyone to Lan? Can't you intercept them there? Are you all blockheads? Can't you think for yourselves? I tell you something, and you do it! Useless! Useless!"
Mercenaries and spies from various countries who wanted to earn this lucrative commission had, after such a long period of investigation, gained a certain understanding of the matter and Yang Yuning, and each had their own agenda. Thus, before An Moxue and Yang Yuning even returned to their country, a large group of people from Lan Kingdom were already waiting for them.
When Director Hou received one message after another, he directly told his subordinates, "Cast a long line to catch a big fish; when the time comes, kill without hesitation."
Having been lying in wait for a long time, everyone was eager to make their mark and ready to make a big splash.
An Moxue and Yang Yuning safely crossed the border of Lan Kingdom. Before leaving the forest, she put the two horses back into her spatial storage and told Yang Yuning that she was returning to Mongolia by the same route.
Along the way, he witnessed An Moxue's horse-taming skills and trusted her completely.
Behind An Moxue, two other groups of people entered Mongolia, also taking this route, and were heading towards Lan Kingdom. Their destination was also Yang Yuning.
Yang Yuning felt bad seeing An Moxue carrying a backpack and two huge suitcases in her hands, and said, "Let me take one of the suitcases! I'm really sorry to make you carry all of these."
An Moxue asked, "Mr. Yang, are you sure?"
Yang Yuning said affirmatively, "Yes, we have to share some of the burden."
“Alright! If you can’t carry it anymore, give it to me.” An Moxue said, handing over one of the suitcases.
Yang Yuning took it, and his hand suddenly felt a heaviness; the box almost knocked him to the ground.
"Is it that heavy?" he asked in surprise.
An Moxue said proudly, "Of course, this is the information you gave me, and I brought it back with not a single page missing."
Upon hearing this, Yang Yuning's face was filled with disbelief, followed by overwhelming joy.
He thought he hadn't been able to bring those documents back to China. Since he was already back, he figured he could just spend more time organizing them and eventually finish them. But to his surprise, An Moxue told him that he had brought all his documents back, not a single one missing. How could he not be happy?
"How is this possible?" His face showed undisguised excitement.
"that is."
"Thank you." He covered his face and wept. Something more important than his own life had been regained, even though it had never been lost by An Moxue.
"This is what I should do, and it's what I promised you." These simple words carry a heavy burden of commitment and credibility, and come at a great cost.
"I...I..." he stammered, somewhat incoherently.
An Moxue could understand his feelings. It was his hard work and effort over the years that was being cherished and valued. Anyone would be happy to see that.
