Chapter 690 Arrival Location (2)

An Moxue proceeded cautiously until she finally arrived at Yang Yuning's bedroom window, only to find that the inside of the window was filled with small iron bars, which were completely invisible from the outside.

An Moxue gently knocked on the window a few times, like a bird landing by the window unintentionally. She knocked several times before she heard the faint sounds of people getting up inside the room.

After a while, she heard footsteps stop at the corner of the wall by the window. She carefully pulled back a corner of the curtain, but saw no one.

An Moxue whispered a few words by the window, "The night flower blooms, fragrant in solitude."

The person inside, upon hearing the sound, covered their mouth and was so excited they didn't know what to do.

An Moxue sensed the change in the man's emotions and reassured him, "Mr. Yang, to make a long story short, I'm currently hanging outside the window. This is still the fourth floor, and I don't know how many people are watching you. I'll just say, be prepared, and I'll find a way to get you out of here as soon as possible. Prepare all the documents you need to take with you. I'll come back at this time tomorrow night."

Just as An Moxue was about to leave, she heard a low voice from inside the room: "Wait a moment, I've prepared some documents. Regardless of whether I can return to China, please take these documents back with you. I'll give them to you now. The nanny lives right outside my room, so let's try to keep our voices down. There's a lot of stuff, though; I wonder if you can carry it?"

"Yes, any amount is fine."

Then, the curtains were drawn, and An Moxue heard no more sounds from inside the room. The lights were dim, and from a distance, it was impossible to tell that the lights were on.

After a while, he lowered his voice and said, "Move aside a bit, I'll open the window."

Then a large cloth bag was passed out through the narrow window crack, followed by stacks of neatly tied but small papers, all of the same size, covered with dense writing, showing that the person who prepared them had put a lot of effort into it and had been preparing for a long time.

The two remained silent until the last stack of papers was handed out, filling a large bag, enough to fit a medium-sized suitcase.

After all the documents were handed out, Yang Yuning finally noticed the person outside. He could vaguely make out that it was a woman outside the window. He was clearly stunned for a moment because An Moxue's voice had changed when she spoke, making it impossible to tell if it was male or female.

However, he didn't ask any more questions, only saying, "Please." An Moxue could hear the heaviness and hope in his voice; he probably didn't have much hope of being able to return to China smoothly!

Seeing his expression, An Moxue simply said, "I probably won't be leaving anytime soon. If there's anything else you want to take with you, you can give it to me. I'll come back tomorrow night at this time."

After An Moxue finished speaking, she didn't wait for his reply. Just as he was opening his mouth in surprise, she left at an extremely fast speed, which seemed somewhat unbelievable to him.

This was beyond his comprehension. He groped his way back to the bed, covered his mouth, unable to contain his excitement, and tears slid down his cheeks and between his fingers.

Afraid that the nanny would find out, he pulled the blanket over his mouth again.

It took him a long time to calm down. He patted his head in annoyance, realizing he should have taken a closer look at the person.

At the time, he was just focused on getting to the fourth floor without being discovered. He didn't have time to say anything more. He was just happy to get the documents out. He didn't even think about what he would do if the people outside weren't from Lan Kingdom.

Because he had a vague feeling that the English Institute was using him to lure someone else, and that he might be transferred away soon.

During this time, his chances of being rescued were extremely slim. That's why he handed over all the information he had prepared over the years, regardless of the consequences, as if it were a gamble. But now, he didn't know whether this gamble was right or wrong. He realized that he had acted impulsively in a moment of passion!

But a voice told him that it was her, that it could work, though he wasn't sure yet.

The next day, Yang Yuning went to bed, ate, and went to work as usual.

After he left, the nanny came in to do her routine cleaning, found nothing unusual, and then left.

The next night, An Moxue wrote down her plan, which she had already thought of, and at one o'clock in the morning, she appeared at Yang Yuning's window on time.

She had just knocked on the window when it opened. An Moxue handed the plan in and whispered, "Look, if you can accept my proposal, I'll go and arrange the next step. If not, I'll think of another way. It will probably take about four days. Do you have any ideas?"

Yang Yuning took the paper in his hand, covered the flashlight and the paper with the blanket, and read through the entire plan. He only asked one question: "Won't we be exposed?"

An Moxue said, "Most people would instinctively stay away from an old woman who is deaf, mute, and has an infectious disease and urgently needs medical treatment."

"Then how are you going to get me out of here?"

"I'll dress you up as a nanny and have you walk out confidently. Then I'll find someone else to dress up as you and go to work for a day. But you have to write down all your details, especially everything about the research institute. I'll come back to pick it up next time. See you in four days."

“Okay.” He thought her plan was too audacious, but he couldn’t refute it.

An Moxue left, and the bedroom returned to calm. But Yang Yuning's heart was far from calm. He had had enough of this life of dependence, which was worse than prison. He longed to return to his homeland and embrace freedom and ideals.

In the darkness, he seemed to have made a decision, his eyes filled with an unwavering madness.

If An Moxue saw this, she would definitely say, "The difference between a genius and a madman is that a genius still retains that last sliver of rationality, while a madman has banished his thoughts, letting them run wild, and his soul is free."

After returning to the hotel, An Moxue checked out the next morning.

Lucy asked in surprise, "Anna, didn't you say you really liked it here? Why are you leaving after only a few days?"

"Lucy, I've seen all the fun things around here, it's time to move on to the next place. Here, this is a gift for you, thank you for taking care of me these past few days." An Moxue said, handing Lucy a small box, and then cheerfully walked out of the hotel.

Lucy watched her retreating figure with reluctance. Her little money! Gone!

An Moxue hadn't walked far when she got into a car that had come to pick her up.

"Anna?" The driver was clearly Asian.

An Moxue sat in the passenger seat and answered, "Yes." She inadvertently revealed the bracelet on her wrist, which the man glanced at and saw clearly, further confirming her identity.

"You're much later than expected, which is a bit of a surprise. Shall I give you the documents now?"

An Moxue knew he was referring to her appearance. "It's just a means of self-preservation. If something unexpected happens, give it to me now!"
