Chapter 317 Subduing Lou Gao

Chapter 317 Subduing Lou Gao

"Don't disbelieve me, go and see if you can write down or say anything about the forging process in this book."

After Miguel finished speaking, Lou Gao immediately went to try it out and found that, just as Miguel had said, he was unable to write down or speak any of the forging knowledge he had just seen.

On the contrary, as time went by, the knowledge in the book slowly faded from his memory. Of course, the related concepts also began to disappear. It was only then that Lou Gao felt a sense of fear, a fear of the unknown.

Lou Gao began to consider whether the conditions Miguel offered were worth signing the indenture. Miguel did not interrupt Lou Gao's thoughts, but sat down beside him, closed his eyes, and began to cultivate.

After an unknown amount of time, Lou Gao's passion for forging surpassed his pursuit of freedom, and he ultimately chose to sign the contract of servitude. As Lou Gao dripped his blood onto the contract, he felt a powerful binding force.

“Very good, you are now one of us. However, your most important task now is to resign from your position as president and leave with us. But we need the Blacksmith Association to help us collect rare ores. As for the price, our Ice Palace will not take advantage of you; it will be the same as the market price.”

Lou Gao finally breathed a sigh of relief. It seemed that Miguel and his men had no designs on the Blacksmiths' Guild; they were just collecting ore, nothing serious.

"Take care of your business before tomorrow morning. Once you're done, come to the Siji Hotel to find us. We'll be waiting for you there."

After Miguel finished speaking, he led Daglas and the others away from the Blacksmiths' Guild.

"Brother, do you have any plans for today?" Daglas asked after leaving the Blacksmiths' Guild.

Miguel looked at the sky and realized it was already noon, time for lunch. So he said, "Let's go to the Four Extremes Hotel for lunch first, and then take a nap upstairs. In the afternoon, we'll go to the Blacksmiths' Association headquarters. I saw they got a new batch of ore this morning; we can go and pick up some bargains."

“Okay, I’ll do whatever you say, brother.” Daglas nodded in agreement.

After saying that, Miguel took Daglas to lunch, and then they took a nap. Around 4 p.m., Miguel and Daglas went to the Blacksmiths' Guild headquarters to begin their search for ore and a bargain hunt.

The next morning, before Miguel even got out of bed, Lou Gao arrived at the Four Extremes Hotel.

Daglas sent Sun Tao down to entertain Lou Gao, while he continued to stay with Miguel as he slept. By the time Miguel woke up naturally, it was almost noon.

"Why didn't you wake me up today? You usually wake me up around seven o'clock. Did you not want to prepare breakfast for me?" Miguel asked Daglas, puzzled and with a hint of teasing.

“You’ve been too busy lately, brother. You need to get a good night’s sleep and rejuvenate. Besides, brother, isn’t it better to sleep until you naturally wake up?” Daglas said without batting an eye.

"Has Lou Gao come?" Miguel asked.

“He arrived a while ago. I’ve already sent Roy to keep him company. They’re both blacksmiths, so they’ll definitely have a lot in common!”

Daglas didn't feel he had done anything wrong by making Lou Gao wait for them; in his opinion, Lou Gao wasn't as important as his brother sleeping.

When Miguel heard that Lou Gao had arrived, he immediately got up and began to wash up. After he finished washing up, he prepared to have Daglas call Lou Gao, the master craftsman, up.

Miguel washed up quickly, finishing in about fifteen minutes. Meanwhile, Lou Gao was discussing forging techniques with Roy. Although Roy wasn't very good at forging, he was quite talented at inscription.

Miguel decided that Roy would focus on inscription from now on, while Lougo would be in charge of weapon forging. Seeing that Miguel was almost finished washing up, Daglas went downstairs to call Lougo and Roy up. About a minute after Miguel finished washing up, Lougo and Roy followed Daglas upstairs.
