Chapter 311 Three-in-One Chapter

Chapter 311 Three-in-One Chapter

"I'm not trying to be mean, but Holy Son Mig, can't you be a little more attentive? Have you forgotten my attributes? Do you really think it's appropriate for me to worship the Lord of Light?"

Hearing Nasser's questioning, Miguel couldn't help but realize that he had indeed overlooked Nasser's attributes. The Dark Demon God Tiger clan has six attributes: evil, darkness, time, space, lightning, and wind. The Dark Demon God Tiger has more attributes, but its main attributes are still evil and darkness, which are exactly the opposite of Miguel's attributes.

If the Dark Demon God Tiger were to worship him, he would definitely have to provide benefits. Originally, the power of faith had no attributes, but once it was marked by him through the divine spark, the power of faith would acquire certain attributes, making it more difficult for the Dark Demon God Tiger to refine. However, if he didn't mark the power of faith, Mig's control over the Dark Demon God Tiger would be greatly weakened.

After thinking for a while, Miguel said to Nasser, the Dark Demon God, "Why don't you just worship the Dark Lord? He's perfect for your attributes, and you're also the pet and mount of the Dark Saint Dagles!"

"The Dark Ruler?"

"Yes, as long as Daglas passes the test, he will be the future Lord of Darkness, while I have a high chance of becoming the Lord of Light!"

"Are you sure you want me to worship the Lord of Darkness?"

"Well, you were originally prepared for Daglas, and Daglas is the future Dark Ruler. Even if the Dark Ruler doesn't really need followers, training you and paving the way for Daglas shouldn't be a problem. However, the Dark Ruler is, after all, an elder, and I can't overstep my bounds and make decisions for him. So if you want to enjoy the benefits of being a follower, you'll have to wait until I report to Daglas and the Dark Ruler agrees."

"I understand, thank you for your appreciation, Your Highness!"

In the eyes of Nasser, the Dark Demon God, although Miguel made it sound easy, as if it could be accomplished effortlessly, a god is a god after all, and it is really difficult to guess a god's thoughts. Therefore, even though Miguel and Daglas's petition failed, Nasser did not blame them, after all, they had already done their best!

"Nasser, you must remember to have faith in the Dark Lord. The higher your level of faith, the more likely you are to be valued by the Dark Lord!"

Why is it that higher levels of faith are given more importance?

"This issue has already touched upon the realm of deities! Those believers who did not attain divine status before their death, and those whose faith did not reach the level of fanaticism, enter the Temple of Prayers after death. Those whose faith level reaches the level of fanaticism can become heroic spirits. As for holy believers, they are the darlings of the gods. After death, they enter the divine kingdom and become angels."

"I see! I will work hard to improve my faith level!"

...

After that, Miguel took Daglas back to the central temple, while Nasser went to his bedroom as arranged by the Heroic Spirits. Once back inside the central temple, Miguel finally asked, "Daglas, do you have a crystalline object inside your body?"

After thinking for a moment, Daglas said, "Yes! Brother, there's something wrong with this thing?"

"This crystalline object is a divine essence. Right, this is how to use the divine essence!"

After he finished speaking, Miguel imparted all the methods he had figured out for using the divine power to Daglas. After that, Daglas also began to try using the divine power.

After his spiritual power entered his divine nature, Daglas saw a dark ocean. Based on the knowledge instilled in him by Miguel, Daglas knew that this ocean was formed from the divine power accumulated over the years, and the source of the divine power came from the dark clouds above the ocean.

Upon seeing the dark, heavy clouds, Daglas sensed a suffocating atmosphere. Curious about the composition of the clouds, he investigated. As his spiritual energy entered the clouds, he was met with various negative energies, such as greed, jealousy, and resentment. Had Daglas not immediately noticed something amiss and withdrawn his spiritual energy, he might have been affected as well. From then on, Daglas understood that the clouds were composed of various negative energies that his divine essence had absorbed but not refined.

Perhaps the world of Douluo Continent has too many imperfections, which has led to an excessive amount of negative energy in the world. As Daglas's strength increases, the speed at which his godhood absorbs negative energy also increases. The clouds are getting thicker and thicker. When Daglas's spiritual power entered his godhood, a light drizzle had already started to fall from the sky.

While examining the divine essence, Daglas saw the thread of faith between himself and Nasser. This was Daglas's only thread of faith, and it was unstable, merely resembling that of a true believer. Daglas studied the power of faith for a while, ultimately discovering that it contained a certain amount of negative energy. He then removed this negative energy. Afterward, Daglas processed his own undirected faith, extracted it from his divine essence, and handed it to Mig.

Upon seeing the power of faith that Daglas had given him, Miguel said helplessly, "Keep this power of faith for yourself, you don't need to give it to me!"

Daglas didn't have many thoughts about believers. After all, in Daglas's view, throwing this power of faith into the ocean of divine power within his godhood would pollute the purity of his divine power. Therefore, even after discovering the thread of faith, he had no intention of developing believers.

“No!” Daglas refused decisively.

"Why don't you create a small lake inside your divine core, store the power of faith there, and then condense it once you have enough power of faith to form a divine stone?"

After thinking for a moment, Daglas said, "Sure! Brother, could you remove the negative energy from the power of faith and give it to me?"

Daglas's request wasn't unreasonable, so Miguel readily agreed, "Alright! It's getting late, let's begin our training!"

"good!"

...

Time passed, and a few days later, Miguel and his group arrived at Gengxin City. They entered the city smoothly, and the metallic aura that greeted them as soon as they passed through the city gates gave them a unique feeling. After entering the city, everyone disembarked from the carriage and looked around this peculiar city with great interest.

Although Miguel knew that Gengxin City had many valuable metals, compared to Lou Gao, these metals were not important. Miguel had no intention of delaying and went directly to the Blacksmith's Guild with Daglas and the blacksmith Roy.

Soon, Miguel and his team stopped in front of a tall building. Looking up, they saw that the massive structure was at least thirty meters high and occupied a vast area. The fact that it occupied such a large space in the city center demonstrated its importance to the city.

Overall, the building resembled the Soto City's Grand Arena. Above the main structure hung a dark iron plaque, blank except for two raised images: a hammer and a chisel. Seeing this plaque, Miguel knew this was the Blacksmiths' Guild, and his destination.

The massive building appeared somewhat rugged, lacking any ornate decorations, and there wasn't even a guard at the entrance. However, a constant stream of people flowed in and out; the three large doors were wide open, allowing a clear view of the bustling crowd inside. Miguel, without wasting any time, led Daglas and Roy directly into the Blacksmiths' Guild.

“I want to see Master Lou Gao,” Miguel said to the receptionist.

"Does the guest have a reservation?" the staff member asked.

"No, but this Ice Palace token should be enough to invite the master craftsman Lou Gao down."

Lou Gao, the master craftsman, was a technician Miguel had secretly hired. Miguel had no intention of having him join the Spirit Hall. The Ice Palace, however, was Miguel's subordinate force, so he was representing the Ice Palace this time. To prevent his identity from being discovered, Miguel had himself and Daglas change their appearances before entering the city.

"I'm sorry, Master Lou Gao has been in seclusion recently, researching new products. However, you can go to Master Lou Gao's apprentice, Master Si Long, first," the staff member said respectfully.

"Can."

Miguel didn't expect to see Lou Gao right away. Although the Divine Craftsman's status in Douluo Continent wasn't very high, he wasn't someone that just anyone could meet.

"Those guests, please go to the lounge and wait. I will go and inform Master Silong now."

Miguel did not object and had a staff member lead the way. Soon they arrived at the lounge, where he served tea to Miguel and his party.

"Before you leave, take a look at my strength first."

Under Miguel's arrangement, Roy displayed his spirit rings. The staff were surprised when they saw Roy's strength, and their attitude became much more respectful.

"A Title Douluo? Your Majesty, I will certainly deliver the message."

In the Douluo Continent, strength is essential no matter where you go. Now that Roy has demonstrated his power, he has intimidated the staff member. Even if the staff member has ulterior motives, he wouldn't dare to play tricks in front of a Title Douluo. About fifteen minutes passed, and the staff member arrived with Si Long.

"I was unaware of His Majesty's arrival from the Ice Palace; I have failed to greet you properly."

Si Long adopted a very humble attitude. Every Title Douluo has a different temperament, and if he were to be killed by a Title Douluo for being impolite, it would be a terrible waste. Moreover, even if he were killed by a Title Douluo, no one would avenge him, since the strong cannot be humiliated, and this is especially true for Title Douluos.

"I accompanied my young master to your blacksmiths' association to find your teacher, the master blacksmith Lou Gao," Roy said expressionlessly.

"I wonder what business you have with my teacher?" Si Long asked, looking puzzled.

"Take this piece of metal to the master craftsman Lou Gao. After he has finished studying it, he will come down to see us. However, we have other matters to attend to. We will wait here for Master Craftsman Lou Gao's arrival at nine o'clock tomorrow morning."

After speaking, Sun Tao took out a piece of bright refined gold and handed it to Si Long. Si Long examined the metal several times, but apart from its bright and shiny appearance, he couldn't find anything special about it. Perhaps it was because his metal identification skills were inadequate.

While Silong was still in a daze, Miguel and his group left the lounge, preparing to sweep up all the valuable ores in the metal capital, Gengxin City.

Not long after leaving the Blacksmiths' Guild headquarters, Miguel was drawn to a black crystal at a small stall. Although Miguel had severed all the life rules within his body, he was still very sensitive to the life force, and thus he sensed the life force trapped within the black stone's outer layer. Miguel approached the stall, casually picked up a piece of refined iron, and showed a strong desire for it.

"Boss, how much is the refined iron per pound in gold soul coins?"

The stall owner, seeing Miguel's youthful appearance and his extravagant attire, immediately judged him to be a very fat sheep.

"Two gold soul coins per pound, young master. You don't know, but the quality of the refined iron here is excellent. If it weren't for the fact that we have a connection, I wouldn't be willing to sell it to you so cheaply," the vendor said with a smile.

Miguel was inwardly cursing the vendor's greed. He knew the Blacksmiths' Guild headquarters only charged one gold soul coin for a kilogram of high-quality iron, yet this vendor dared to sell a pound of average-quality iron for two gold soul coins. However, Miguel didn't show it on his face.

"Young master, the fine iron here is not worth this price at all. He's lying to you."

After receiving Miguel's orders, Roy played the role of a loyal servant, earnestly trying to persuade Miguel not to be fooled.
